Spacious and charming apartment, overlooking a beautiful garden, tucked away behind craftsman-style house in the heart of historic North Park. Apartment is 600 sqft and has beautiful hardwood floors. It has large windows which provide lots of natural light and allow an air-flow and breeze. The unit also has a portable air conditioner for extra comfort during the warm summer months.
The bedroom has a comfortable queen-size bed and is facing east allowing you to watch the sunrise over the mountains in the morning. The living room is spacious and has a smart TV (access to local channels and Netflix). The kitchen is fully equipped. On the porch/entrance of the apartment is a small sitting area with a view of the courtyard garden and beautiful San Diego sunsets; a great spot to recharge after a day of walking, shopping, golfing, and spending time exploring one of the beautiful beaches or San Diego's many other attractions.

In the historical neighborhood of North Park, our 1920s Casita is close to EVERYTHING. Just minutes to beaches, Balboa Park, Petco Park, SDSU Cox Arena, downtown and the Gaslamp District, Coronado, Mission Beach, Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, La Jolla, the Convention Center and Comic-Con. A wide array of unique restaurants, breweries and shops are just a few short blocks away. Perfect for an evening stroll.

We have a fully-stocked and updated kitchen, washer and dryer, window air conditioners in the bedroom and living room and a mini-split system in the kitchen (central air is not possible in our 100-year old home), free WiFi, two TVS with DirecTV, NFL network AND the NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTubeTV, including a TV on our outdoor patio.

Enjoy a glass of wine under the stars while you BBQ on our propane grill and watch your favorite show. An electric fireplace in the living room adds that special ambience on cold, winter nights. (As in mid-50s, usually. It is San Diego, after all.)

We welcome housebroken and friendly dogs. And little kids, too. Although we have a limit of two each. There is no separate bed for the kids, but the couch is large and offers plenty of space for two mid-to-small sized kids. *Linens provided for couch sleepers.*

Our quaint bungalow features tasteful furnishings, hardwood floors and a fully-equipped kitchen with a dine-in area. The dining area opens up to the living room, where you will find a comfy sectional and large-screen TV with a variety of new DVDs to watch and plenty of popular board games to play. We have comfortable and private sleeping arrangements for 4 people in beds, with a queen sized bed in room #1 and a full sized bed w/ a twin trundle in room #2. We have a *brand new* top-of-the-line central AC/Heat system that was just installed and attached to a smart thermostat. Families: While Purple Panache is glad to host families, please note the space was not designed with children in mind and has no specific child-safety equipment. The children who have stayed most successfully have been infants under constant supervision or mature tweens and teens past the “stick a fork into a socket” stage.

Pets: We do not charge a pet fee — but pets must be disclosed when booking. Undisclosed pets will incur a $100 fee. To keep our pet-friendly policy free for all guests, we ask that you:

Clean up after your pet inside and outside.
Use provided blankets on furniture if pets are allowed up.
Contact us for instructions if an accident occurs on carpets or upholstery.

If our cleaners must address these issues for you, the following fees apply:
Dog waste in the yard: $50
Excessive pet hair: $50

Security: For your safety, there are four exterior cameras mounted on the roof to monitor property access: two at the front (entry, driveway, sidewalk), one on the south side yard (facing the gate), and one on the north side yard (non-accessible space). There are no interior cameras and none facing the backyard. The home is equipped with a Yale Smart Lock.
Please do not tamper with the cameras or modem.

This freshly updated 1920's Craftsman home is right in the heart of San Diego. Situated in the east side of North Park, right by the bustling (and rapidly growing!) University Avenue. Literally minutes away from some of the best tourist attractions, restaurants, bars, breweries, music venue, etc. that San Diego has to offer. We integrated a seamless check-in/check-out process and minimal interaction for your privacy and convenience.

The space:
Upon booking, you will receive a code to unlock the front door. Once inside, you will find a gate FOB on the kitchen counter that would allow you to access the parking at the back of the property. Access to parking is through the alley. One vehicle would fit in our designated parking. On cold nights, get cozy in front of our gas fireplace, an additional space heater is also provided and could be found in the Master's Bedroom. San Diego is known for its perfect weather year round. For that reason, we only have air conditioning in the Master's Bedroom, but there are ceiling fans through out the house. Our TV's are equipped with streaming services such as Hulu and Netflix. High speed WiFi is also available within the property. An iron, ironing board, and hair dryer are also provided for your convenience which are all located in the Master's Bedroom.

Guest access:
Guests will have access to the entire home, laundry shed, backyard, and parking.

A maximum of two dogs are allowed per reservation. There is an animal cleaning fee of $60 per animal. A separate charge will be requested for this and must be paid prior to check-in. Also, please make sure that they don't join you up on the bed or any of the furniture.

While we love all animals, we do not allow cats at this rental to keep it friendly for guests with cat allergies. Unfortunately, they are not allowed unless they are a service or therapy pet. If you are traveling with a service or therapy pet, we'll just need to see the proper documentation. Thank you in advance for your understanding!

An EV charging outlet (240V, adapter is not provided) is on the shed by the parking space and is available to use for a one-time fee of $20 for the duration of your stay.

If items are left behind, shipping and handling will need to be paid in advance on top of a $15 convenience fee.

If the gate key FOB is lost or damaged, a fee of $100 will be required.

For stays longer than 28 days, you must agree to sign a lease agreement on the day of check-in.

I felt comfortable walking my dog I had no issues but I noticed that on the outside once we walked outside the house nobody picks up after their dogs that’s very nasty and disgusting. Overall it was great staying there. The property manager assisted me with a quick response."

Nice 1 bedroom with skyline views from the private patio. This is an upstairs 1 bdrm apartment in a charming 4 plex in Golden Hill. Close to Gas Lamp, Convention Center, Balboa Park, Zoo, shops and restaurants. Beautiful patio with views and stylish design inside.
You are able to arrive at any time that is convenient for you. The apartment may not be ready to check into until 3pm but will always try to accommodate if you'd like to drop your luggage off if you arrive early. We will make your checking in very easy.
Guest interaction is minimal. I will try to meet you if I can during the check in. I will leave or email you a welcome letter with house instructions and recommendations. You can always call, email or text me if you need anything, have questions about the apartment or want recommendations.
The apartment is only 4 minutes away from the Zoo and a beautiful Balboa Park and with quick freeway access you can get to the beaches and Sea World in about 10 -15 minutes. Just a few blocks you will find many great restaurants. You can cook your own steak at the Turf Club, or indulge great Italian food at Luigis (has outdoor patio as well) or have a quick taco or burrito at Humberto's. Influx, the trendiest coffee shop, is half a block away and will serve you the best croissant sandwich and a mocha.

It can sleep up to 4 with a queen bed in the room, a fold out sofa and an air mattress upon request.
The apartment is on a wide street with FREE street parking and has very easy access to the freeway, so you don’t have to deal with Downtown traffic when visiting other parts of San Diego.

If you are visiting San Diego without a car, you will be a block away from the bus stop and a few blocks from the trolley stop, and a mile from the ferry if you want to check out spectacular San Diego bay. The same ferry can take you for a day to Coronado Island.

Wonderful family owned house in a quiet neighbourhood, but just a few minutes from Downtown, Coronado and other places of interest.

The light-flooded house has beds for up to 6, one bathroom, a huge living and dining room and a well-appointed kitchen. We love the multilevel garden with the great view. The big kid's room will make your family vacation perfect.

The space
We have two bedrooms - one with a King size and one with a Queen size bed. Furthermore there's a Queen size sofa-bed in the living room.
The modern dining room has an extendible dining table. Two high chairs are available. The kitchen is fully equipped. There's a new refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher.
In the kid's room you can find a children's table with chairs, a doll bed, play train, basketball set, paper and pens and a baby grip. We also providing you a folding wagon for your day trips.

The lovingly applied garden gives you a relaxing space. You can find a big outdoor dining table under a canopy.

A parking space next to the house belongs to the property.

Sheets and towels are available in the house. As well as a washer, laundry rack and dishwasher.
The house is equipped with a gas heating which is operable during the colder month.

Of course you can use the TV, WiFi and soundbar.

-LIVINGROOM AND KITCHEN-
The Living room is equip with a large 55” Samsung Frame smart TV and a large couch and ottoman, allowing you to kick back for a comfortable night with all of your streaming services. There is a record player stocked with a few of our favorite records for you to enjoy. The fully stocked kitchen is open to the living room and flows beautifully. There is an electric stove and oven, a refrigerator with a water and ice dispenser, microwave, dishwasher, farmhouse sink with a garbage disposal and a large pantry space. All appliances are modern and new.

-BEDROOMS AND BATHROOM-
The two bedrooms and bathroom are located upstairs. Bedroom one is equipped with a comfortable queen bed while bedroom two contains two comfortable twins. Each room in the house features it’s own mini-split temperature control for year round comfort, so you can adjust to your liking. For anyone working remotely, there is a desk and chair as well as a strong wifi connection throughout the space. The bathroom has a large shower stocked with shampoo, conditioner, bodywash and blow-dryer.

-OUTDOOR SPACE-
The best space! Its easy to flow into the private backyard right off the Livingroom, with French doors leading you to the best part of the house. There is a outdoor dining table for you to enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast while listening to the birds, or your favorite nightly beverage and dinner under the stars.


-IMPORTANTS THINGS TO NOTE!!!-
-This is not a party house. We ask all guests to respect our home and the quiet neighborhood.

-For safety and comfort reasons, we can only accommodate children aged 12 and above.

-Our maximum overnight occupancy is strictly 4 guests. If any additional unauthorized guest stays overnight, a $100 violation fee will be charged per additional person and the reservation may be subject to cancellation.

-This is a TWO STORY HOUSE with both bedrooms and bathroom upstairs.

-This is a backhouse. This home is completely private, with your own fenced in backyard, and private entrance.

-Parking: There is no designated parking space, however, street parking usually easy to find.

-Though we love animals, this a pet-free space to maintain cleanliness and avoid triggering allergies for future guests.
Bringing an unauthorized pet will result in a $150 fee and immediate cancellation of the reservation.

Guest access
The house and yard are completely private and will be yours during your stay. Keyless entry allows easy secure access, with very easy street parking for your vehicle.
