Amazing river views as soon as you walk in, but this home boasts a three season room furnished with a huge L-shaped sectional couch, surrounded by windows for spectacular views and comfortable relaxation.
Outside we have a large concrete patio fully furnished including a gas grill and even a hammock. There is a large fenced in grass yard leading down a gentle slope to the river where you'll find a nice fishing dock where you will see bald eagles, deer and other wildlife.
Preferred age limit; 26 and above. no children please, two day minimum. Due to insurance no swimming is allowed. Pet friendly negotiable. Limit 2 dogs and I do have a $30 nightly pet fee.
Just to be totally open as I did have a guest mention this. About a mile down river from my place they do have a trap shooting range and in the summer and fall you may hear them practicing. If you have any concerns or have questions about when they are shooting please don’t hesitate to contact me. I was able to find the schedule online. On a side note my dog is Very noise sensitive and from that distance it doesn’t seem to bother her as we spend a lot of time there when we can.. please feel free to contact me if you have questions. Sleeps 16 comfortably but could accommodate up to 20 if you want to sleep on couches. This 5 bedrooms (2 downstairs), 3 bath house on Lake Elizabeth, has a large yard for lawn games, private pier, basketball court, corn hole, LOTS of games and is surrounded by a gorgeous conservation area with 1.7 miles of hiking trails - true beauty!

For swimming, we recommend taking the boat to the sand bar on the south side of the lake or driving to Twin Lakes beach on Lake Mary 5 minutes north.

A gormet Chef is available if desired, otherwise, grill out back or down by the water, relax in the hammock or fish off the pier, whatever your fancy - swimming in this spring fed lake offers the best of the best. Bring your rafts and water toys. Only 1 bar/restaurant (Sand Bar) on the lake, so it is quieter and with 750 acres, perfect for water skiing and fishing. Catch the water ski show on Wednesday and Saturdays @ 6:00 during the Summer in Twin Lakes, WI.

This upscale estate has an incredible amount of space for spreading out or finding privacy, whatever your group’s vibe. One of the highlights of the house is the large, private, heated indoor pool, measuring 40 feet by 20 feet and set to 87 degrees. The pool area also features a three-person sauna, a six-person hot tub, two luxurious day beds, and a full bathroom with dual shower head and cold plunge.

From the pool area, walk through a private indoor hallway to the open-concept living room and kitchen. The kitchen boasts high-end Fisher and Paykel appliances, including a gas stove and range, and a huge, eight-seat island. The living room features 23-foot-tall ceilings with expansive windows, a chandelier, and an 85-inch TV. Right off the living room is a dining room that can seat up to 16 people.

The house also features a conference room, with technology to support remote work, and a separate poker/game room with eight TVs, a poker table, and table tennis. A downstairs arcade/theater room has a soundbar and a 120-inch screen. Arcade games include NFL Blitz, NBA Jam, Terminator Salvation, two racing simulators, Golden Tee, and a four-player multi-cade that has 1,200 games.

We have a very open floor plan. What that means is that when we play music it fills the house. It is awesome when you WANT it to - but there are times when it isn't desired. For instance our dog barks at passers by, when we are awake and functioning. Yep, that can mean Saturday morning. If you want to know who we are - we love Elton John, Meatloaf, Journey, Adelle, Nora Jones, ACDC, Cheap Trick (home town boys), Eagles, Eric Clapton, REO, ABBA, Queen, Santana - and an assortment of musicians that we actually KNOW - yeah music says alot about you...... If you play the Piano or Guitar, we have those too and would readily share! It's pretty quiet here during the week, but on the weekends maybe not so much...

We will loan you a "do not duplicate" key for the duration of your stay. We are almost always home. We live work and play here. In any case Loukas our Standard Poodle will greet you enthusiastically each time you arrive! You are welcome to use the "non private" areas of the house & yard, or just your Bedroom and Bathroom - the choice is your's. We provide our guests with exclusive use of a Mini-Fridge, microwave, pod coffee maker in the Eating Room, but do not allow "cooking" in our kitchen. Please ENJOY use of the outdoor patio areas! You will not regret it. If you want to use the association pool and tennis courts we may have to accompany you. Long term guests can be added to the pool roster.

During your stay
We are very friendly people who work from our home office in the basement. Just ask us for advice we will be happy to help! We love locally owned business', restaurants, bars and we will know where you can find great live music entertainment almost nightly. Expect that we will greet you when you come and go, by yelling "hello" from wherever we are.

Other things to note
Everything here is VERY clean! It can get cluttered, or messy, but not DIRTY. We are a NO shoes house. There is white carpet everywhere! Rob and I keep our shoes in the Garage. You can keep a couple pair in the foyer next to the front door on a rug.

A mandatory weekly cleaning is included in our listing. I will clean weekly throughout your stay. I will clean the bathroom, vaccum and dust and wash and re-make your bedding. I will ask that you have your things organized and picked up each Friday to allow me to clean! Arrangements can be made for a different day if Friday doesn't work for you.

There are two closets available for your use with hangers, wire shelving and a laundry basket.

The associated bath is exclusively your’s. It is equipped with fresh towels, and sample size items for temporary use. There are two drawers that you can occupy with your things.

Our business' Belles Firm of Architecture and Belles Travel have a full business office in the basement. There are several printers and a scanner with full business capabilities! Just ask if you need to print or fax something. It is PERFECT for the working traveler.

Our home has central air, we run it in the hot summer months. If it is not "hot" you can open your windows and/or use a fan that is provided in the room.. We think "hot" means 80 degrees plus. The thermostat is set for 74 - 76.

Wifi connection with guest access is available, no charge. You will be shown the password in your Airbnb account after you book. If you can't find it just ask us for it when you arrive...

Contact us for an optional meal plan during your stay by our friends at "Food 4 Fuel". They prepare healthy meals and snacks for purchase and pick up in a nearby location.

You are welcome to join us, with your food, for meals if you let us know in the morning, or timing just happens to be right. We always enjoy the social aspect of dining together. But we don't live on a strict schedule... each day is different.

Washer and Dryer, pay per use - $1.00 wash (with my soap) - $1.00 dry. I only allow use of Amway Laundry Detergent in my machine. Don't worry you will get spoiled too!

My son and I are travelers, so, we as travelers have lived many experiences for those reasons we try to offer a nice, clean and comfy place for a good price for travelers too. Please! Please! Please! **Refrain from smoking inside the house. We had an experience with a guest smoking marijuana inside de house when other guests were out or working making everybody uncomfortable when returning home.
There is a little porche in front of the house which is appropriate for smokers.
Or backyard for other smokers.
Only service dogs accepted with a deposit. Also had an experience with a fake service dog. Some guests lie to get the reservation with their dogs. We found accidents caused by the dog such as urine on the edges of the furniture and bed. Some things needed to be replaced creating expenses. We don’t want to charge your credit card for that type of accidents, and an unwanted review.
We don’t offer food ( breakfast, lunch, dinner, sodas or beers) We have had guests claiming all these for $35 a night. We offer nice and clean rooms for a good price. You won’t get a room in a hotel with continental breakfast for less than $90 for one night in all Rockford.
So, please be considerate when leaving your review if you get a nice and comfortable stay for a good price. We will always leave you a good review. If you have questions or suggestions please make them in a text or at the end on private notes and that will help us to improve and keep offering a good price for travelers.
You are always welcome, leave your worries and shoes at the door. The floor is very light and gets dirty very easily and much more if it rains or snows.. If you don’t mind leaving your shoes at the door it will help to keep the floor nice and clean for everyone.
Help us to keep our towels clean, bright and without stain. Don’t use them to remove makeup or hair tint treatment. Same recommendations with linen, we have had guest that use oil on their hair and we can not remove it from pillow cases or sheets. Again, we don’t want to charge your credit card to replace stained linen.
Once you are ready for checking out take garbage bags to the bin outside located in front of the garage . Dispose of any leftovers in the fridge. Wash dirty dishes. Check for personal items before leaving. Lock the window/s. Turn off all the lights. Leave the keys on the desk of your room. Close the door but Don’t lock it. Please message me when you are leaving. We provide a 24-hour supply of pure water from an advanced water filtration system equipped with reverse osmosis, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and free laundry on site (BYO Detergent).
