Parking was a bit tricky to figure out but again I called the Front Desk staff and they were able to make it easy to figure out. Parking on the street overnight is apparently free. I still used the parking app to register that I was parked there overnight but it was a zero cost transaction. Overall I would say this is a great place to stay and would recommend it to anyone."

Garage Apartment Guesthouse located in Historic Fairmount, Fort Worth! The garage is separate from the main house and guest have a private entry with plenty of street parking just outside the apartment. There is a kitchen with a fridge stove, sink, and microwave, and bathroom with all the essentials. The TV is connected to our network and accesses the Internet via RoKu. Located less than a mile South of Magnolia Avenue, convenient to TCU, Downtown, and all other surrounding areas.

Quiet, ground floor studio apartment in a gorgeous historic neighborhood close to downtown and we are pet friendly!

The space
Our dog Rosy will greet you at the door of this quiet guest space. (She lives in our house but loves to run out and gently greet people). It is a 500 square foot ground floor studio apartment with a full bath and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a stove /oven, toaster, microwave and full size fridge. There are dishes , silverware and pots and pans-we leave you coffee and breakfast foods for the morning ( and a few other things!) We have a 40 inch TV with Apple TV where you can access Hulu and Netflix and other channels. There is a Temperpedic queen size bed with a fresh duvet cover . Feel free to bring your pets to hang with Rosy! We live in a beautiful neighborhood with sidewalks and parks- only 1 mile from Magnolia Street where there are many restaurants and bars.

The Garden House was built in 2023 with all the standard creature comforts you’d expect to find in a classic English studio apartment. Nestled in the largest historic neighborhood in the Southwestern United States, known as Fairmount, The Garden House was built to blend in with the vast collection of Arts & Crafts, Foursquare and other bungalow style homes, best taken in on a leisurely walk. We built out the space with legacy grade materials and furnishings as it serves as an extension of our 113-year-old bungalow and a home away from home for our out-of-town family and guests. Fairmount’s historic and central location blends the old and new transportation lines of railways and roads, and as such we enjoy the hum of the trains on the old lines that run adjacent to our district.
Conveniently located in the heart of Fort Worth’s historic Southside, the Garden House is 1 mile from Magnolia Avenue (shops, eateries, and pubs), 1.5 miles from TCU and 3 miles from Sundance Square downtown.
