The bungalow is incredibly well decorated and stocked with any kitchen item you may need. The entire space feels new and not used, is well maintained, updated and very clean. There is a full kitchen and dining area with a pool table and large screen TV so you can relax or play a game of pool. The two bedrooms are equal in size and each have their own bathroom. The enclosed porch has a washer and dryer, we have a printer and a desk so you could work. At night take in the stars with a glass of wine on the outdoor deck, or cozy up to a fire and have a seat on the Adirondack chairs. We are behind the Summerset farm stand in case you need any treats and we are centrally located, yet worlds away from it all. Explore nearby Ballard, and visit Bob's Well Bread, or head over to Santa Ynez town and enjoy lunch at the Baker's Table. Meander the streets after to find quaint boutiques and coffee shops. We are Ideally located within the Santa Ynez/Solvang/Los Olivos area. A roughly 1200 sq ft guesthouse that can sleep up to 5 adults comfortably: Fast wifi internet and cable. A wonderful space for families or friends wanting a clean relaxing creative space near wineries and local towns. We place age appropriate toys in the guesthouse such as electric cars , pretend play kitchen and grocery store, stuffed animals, trainsets, etc.
There are two bedrooms with queen size beds and one twin xl day bed. in the large liivng room. We also have a full size crib for the 2 and younger guests and a full size toddler bed for the 2 to 6 year old guests.
We provide eggs , milk, bread, coffee, tea, juice and seasonal organic fruit from our garden for your meals. The space is arranged to provide our guests (families, couples, & friends) a wonderful experience that is memorable.
There is a large living room that has been decorated to provide a restorative environment with comfy furniture, a large TV with cable, a dinner table that has seating for 6. There is a well appointed kitchen, with pots, pans, plates, to commonly used cooking items such as cooking oil, spices, and breakfast items. There is a washer and dryer for use. The bedrooms are furnished with luxury linens. An immaculate clean home. We maintain a high standard regarding providing a clean home with a spotless bathroom that is supplied with toiletries. The guests' area has its own private patio space if guests want privacy away from the shared meditation garden. The private patio area has a gas grill for BBQ; and there is also a casual outdoor dining area. Fantastic space to view the night sky infused with stars. No light pollution, so if there isn't any cloud cover, this area is wonderful for viewing stars. There is plenty of room for children to play within the home, the private patio area, and in the meditation garden. We encourage guests to engage in chalk art on the concrete floors in the patio area. A relaxing activity for both young and old. We provide lots of toys, games. and crafts for children, an indoor tent with panda sleeping bags; and we even have an electric car (10 and younger) for children to tootle around the property. The highlight for most of our guests would be the garden, to read, relax, have a glass of wine.
There is a large driveway so we allow our guests up to three cars to park in our driveway while staying at the home. Exceptional Wifi quality (not easily found in the valley ) is via speedy cable.
If you are a young family with an infant, we have a pack and play with linens, a stroller, baby bath, high chair, play items. We encourage young children to engage in crafts, board games, and chalk art on the driveway or patio area. If you are a group of girlfriends or couples, we provide adult board games, and we encourage you to enjoy wine and meals in the garden and engage in chalk art in the patio area.
We have lots of suggestions for places to visit, wineries to consider, places to eat, areas to hike, bike, and swim. There is also plenty of space for storing any large items during your stay such as bikes. Cyclists may use the garage to store bikes, stands, and other equipment and to use the garage as a work space.
If you are coming into the area for bike riding, we can suggest many local trails. If you are coming into the area for wine tasting, we can make suggestions for boutique wine venues. If you are coming for a friend or family member's wedding, then we are very likely located near the wedding venue. We have been told by nearly all of our guests how central we are to everything in the Santa Ynez valley.

My husband Dana and I are happy to offer the guest room in our Santa Ynez home to vaccinated guests. (We are both vaccinated, but Dana is in a more vulnerable demographic.) It's a simple bedroom with a queen-sized bed and adjacent guest bathroom. The neighborhood is peaceful, the room cozy (100sf). You are welcome to cook in our kitchen, lounge in our living room or enjoy the patio if you need more room.

The space
The room can accommodate one or two people.

There is free wireless internet in the house, off street parking, and a keyless entry system (the code will be the last four digits of your phone #) so you can come and go as you please during your stay. We provide breakfast snacks in the morning: granola bars, fruit, cheese sticks, orange juice, coffee and tea. Hard boiled eggs are available some of the time, subject to the mood of our flock of backyard chickens. You are welcome to use the kitchen and any dishes, we just ask that you clean up after yourself.

We should mention that there is no T.V. in the house, but wifi is available for streaming on you own device.

There are two friendly cats named Jade and Rocky who shouldn't bother you unless you have cat allergies. If you leave your bedroom door open, there is a chance that one or both of them will let themselves in and sleep on your bed.

Please don't book our place if you are allergic to cats. Even though we can keep the cats out of your room during your stay, past experience has taught us that people with any level of cat allergies do not have a good experience here.

Guest access
Your room is a private bedroom with one queen-sized bed and adjacent full bath. (We will not use "your" bathroom or enter your room while you are staying with us.) We provide clean towels, liquid hand soap, body wash, washcloths and a hairdryer. (We assume you will bring your own shampoo and conditioner, but can provide some hotel samples if you forget.) You are welcome to use any part of the downstairs portion of the house during your stay--living room, kitchen, dining area, patio.

We ask that you stay downstairs during your visit, the upstairs is our private space.

Off-street parking is available in our semicircular driveway. Please let us know if you will be bringing more than one car, so we can provide enough space.

Although one or both of us is usually home when AirBnB guests visit, our schedules don't always allow us to great you personally. If neither of us is available, Becky can be reached via text to answer any questions you might have.

Our house is in a quiet residential neighborhood in Santa Ynez, near the intersection of Refugio Road and Hwy 246. It's a 10 minute walk to an excellent coffee shop and grocery story with a full deli. If you're driving, we are 5 minutes from Solvang, 10 minutes from Los Olivos, and 30 minutes from Santa Barbara. Wine tasting, hiking, cycling, golf and sight-seeing are all nearby.

One room available with private bathroom attached to my home, where My husband and i live. private entrance/ patio and view of a vineyard. You will hear the sounds of roosters and goats in the early morning and during the day. We usually spend our time at home on the weekends to tend to the grapes, gardens, projects and chickens. Two doors to access my home are blocked on my side. Has a mini fridge, small coffee pot, warm blankets/ pillows and towels if needed.

There is street parking available in front of my home and a red brick path to the left side of the house that leads to the gate. There is a private patio sitting area for guests and a white picket fence. The arrow and fence will lead to room. The space
This cozy one bedroom section of the guest house has it's own private entrance and bath, with a lovely view of the olive orchard. This is the only bedroom in the guest house - all to yourselves. The king bed is super comfortable. The bathroom is a full bath with a large tub and has its own hot water heater.
We now have A/C, which cools the space thoroughly.

Please note we have been forced to raise our rates recently because of the continued high cost of insurance. Our rates have gone up more that 20% for each of the last 3 years.

The guest house is well shaded, there is both a front and back patio. Rental includes in room coffee service and continental style evoo breakfast. BTW, we air dry our linens whenever possible. You are welcome to a complimentary olive oil tasting during normal business hours. The space has a mini refrigerator. Please note there is *no kitchen, cooking facilities or meal prep area*, and there is no microwave. Free wi-fi is available, but our bandwith is not great (out in the country) so streaming can be challenging. There is no cable TV, but we provide an HD flat screen with an excellent selection of movies.
There is an office adjacent to the bedroom that is used occasionally during the day.
We endeavor to provide a (very) comfortable bed and a place to explore the towns and surrounding wineries and countryside - it is good for wine tasting, cycling or exploring the small towns in the valley. If you want to hang out in the room and watch television, this is probably not the rental for you. This space is best suited to a single adult or a couple; there is not room for more than that, including children and pets . Property is a 20 acre ranch. Please be advised we have 2 dogs and 1 cat (plus chickens and horses). The animals are not allowed in the room. Because of all our pets, we unfortunately cannot accommodate other pets, as we do not want to have any animal mishaps. The cottage is well shaded with large oaks. You have your own patio in the front of the cottage, and access to shared space. Dogs and cats do share the outdoor space and love visitors. Ladies, be advised that high heels are *not* recommended around the ranch. Nothing is paved, so having some comfortable walking shoes will make your experience much more pleasant. The days can be warm but the nights are usually cool, in the 40-50 degree range winter and 50 degree range in the summer. Our place is usually quiet with little traffic or other noise. The view of the olive grove in front of the guest house is very relaxing. Dogs do sometimes act as furry guides if you are exploring the property. There is a great view of the valley if you choose to hike up to the top of the hill at the back of the ranch. Our property is across the street from a winery and in close proximity to the towns of Los Olivos and Santa Ynez.

Guests are able to wander through the orchard, explore around the farm and check out the fabulous view from the top of our hill. We also have horses on the property. Dogs often act as furry guides. Guests can also visit with the ranch dogs and kitties. Front and back patio use. As we have guests with allergies, we cannot allow any animals in the room. This is a non-smoking room and property. Because of the high fire danger we ask that you do not smoke on our property.

Please be advised that there is now a * 2 NIGHT MINIMUM on All Weekends * There is a $10/hr fee for an early check-in on a Saturday or a Sunday. But you are welcome to drop bags and/or leave your car. This is because we are extremely busy with our farm stand on those days, so an early check is difficult for us to accommodate. Also, please note that I am not online 24/7 and disconnect from devices after 8pm. If you make a late reservation, I will respond early the next morning.
This is a working ranch, so there is usually some activity going on - but not normally near the guest house. Dogs and cats share the outdoor space. There are horses kept on the property. There is plenty of birdsong in the morning, and always a lovely view. If you take a walk to the top of our hill on the property, you can see a fantastic view of the valley.

Access to the cottage is via a semi-private drive, with dedicated parking and a lockbox for easy check-in. Upon entry you'll be greeted by the open-concept kitchen and living room, with a sliding glass door opening to the private backyard.

The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need to stay in and cook a great meal, including a full-size fridge, oven, and pots and pans. We've also got you covered with all the things that you never think of until you don't have them, like a corkscrew and a can opener. The kitchen also includes a coffee station, with ground coffee, a French press, creamer and sugar, in addition to a selection of tea.

The living room contains a couch (with a very comfortable pullout queen bed) and a TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu streaming access. The shelves are also stocked with some of our favorite books; we invite you to enjoy a good book with your morning coffee or catch up on some of your favorite shows during your stay.

In the bedroom there is a queen bed (with Tuft and Needle mattress), a dresser, and a small closet. High quality linens and comfy pillows make it easy to sleep in and catch up on some rest (hey, you deserve it). The nightstand also includes a built-in phone charger to make sure you're ready for your next adventure in the morning.

Charming retreat in the Santa Ynez Valley just a few miles from downtown Los Olivos.
Perched atop a hill, our stay offers stunning views of the Santa Ynez Valley and privacy, yet close proximity to town, shopping, and wine tasting.
Located on a ranch set amid sprawling oaks with a few farm animals to enjoy, including donkeys, a goat, sheep, and geese. Our chicken coop is nearby (no roosters!) so that you can even enjoy collecting your own chicken eggs during the spring and summer.

Your stay will include private use of a full kitchen with stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and other amenities. Private bedroom with a king bed and living room. Bathroom features a walk-in travertine shower and new granite countertop. A private patio features a bistro table, umbrella, and gas bbq.

Come settle in to the Cozy "BEE" Cottage located in beautiful Santa Ynez. Situated on a quaint dirt cul-de-sac walking distance to downtown. You will be greeted with a rose covered trellis entry gate and spacious fully enclosed yard for your furry family member. Studio feels much larger than it's 500 sq ft. but retains a warm and cozy feel.
Short walk into the town of Santa Ynez or a 5-10 minute drive to all of the other lovely towns in the valley, Solvang/Los Olivos/Balllard/Buellton.

The "Bee" Cottage is attached to a main home but is fully self-contained with it's own fully fenced yard and entrances. The Studio Space is roomy but also cozy. There is a Queen size bedroom space and also a pull out couch in the living area. Deep soak in the oversized spa tub. Nicely stocked kitchen with all the amenities included to prepare your meals. Spacious yard with plenty of seating, BBQ, fire pit to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Pet friendly yard (2 dogs max).

Flip on the remote controlled AC/heater to warm on a chilly night or cool off after a warm day exploring Santa Barbara Wine Country.

If you prefer more intimate climate and lighting, switch on the Amish fireplace heater and enjoy a show from your favorite streaming service.

Enjoy peaceful country life on a large working ranch located within a five minute drive to Los Olivos & Buellton. Take in all the activities Santa Ynez Valley has to offer. The space
Rancho San Antonio is a large family owned ranch in the Santa Ynez’s picturesque valley on California’s Central Coast. With a history as rich and diverse as the beautiful valley it sits in, Rancho San Antonio was originally part of Rancho San Carlos de Jonata – a 25,000 acre Mexican land grant. These ranchos, which were located along the historical Mission trail became central institutions in California. The owners of these land grants, or “Rancheros”, oversaw all aspects of their vast holdings which were autonomous and self sufficient towns.

In 1867, R.T. Buell purchased 16,000 acres of the original Rancho San Carlos de Jonata. Eventually much of this ranch would become the town we now know as Buellton. In 1905, R.T. Buell passed away leaving the ranch under the stewardship of his eldest son, Rancho San Antonio sits on that portion of the ranch inherited by Linus Buell, and the house he built still sits proudly on top of the hill. The “Yellow House”, an authentic California Craftsman farmhouse, has seen little change in the last 100 years, and has been largely preserved in its’ authentic condition.

In 1972, the next chapter in the Rancho’s colorful history was written when Brooks Firestone purchased it. Along with his wife Kate, Brooks raised his large family here, including his youngest son “The Bachelor” Andrew Firestone. Under his management, the ranch hosted lavish functions, housed the Santa Ynez Valley Hounds and was also used as a film location. Many famous people passed through the gates of Rancho San Antonio including Ronald Reagan, Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney – to name a few.

The ranch has been the site of many commercials and music videos, including the well known “Say, Say, Say” video starring Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney. This rustic private ranch is nestled away in the mountains just 3 miles from Los Olivos and Buellton – the remarkable location offers you all the peace and privacy of the country – and yet is only a short drive to hotels, restaurants, wine tasting and world class amenities. While the valley is well known for its distinguished wines, Rancho San Antonio remains true to its history.

Today, many of the same traditions still exist on Rancho San Antonio. Hundreds of Chumash Indian artifacts have been uncovered on this property, horses run free on the ranch, neighbors’ cattle still graze on the land. A few families still call this ranch home and we all feel blessed when we gather with friends and family for a ranch style bar-b-que.

We welcome the opportunity to share this ranch and its wonderful stories and hope that each guest can add a chapter of their own to the history of Rancho San Antonio.

-The bunk bed room is only suitable for one adult in the bottom bunk. The top bunk can hold a child.
-The bathroom is accessed through the bunk bed room.
-We love dogs and welcome your family member here. However, there are many things that can harm them. When you’re out and about on the ranch please keep your dogs on a leash.
-This is a working ranch with large animals and dangerous equipment. Please make sure that children have adult supervision while here at the ranch.
- This is very much a rural country house on a 560 acre ranch - it is surrounded by mountains and trails as well as landscaped grounds. We hope you get the chance to go hiking and explore all the beauty and nature out back.
-We live in the house up the hill and are almost always available to assist however, we respect your total privacy.
- Internet/wifi are excellent, reliable and high-speed. Smart TV for streaming entertainment.
- Wildlife is prevalent on the property.
- This is a house on a large ranch the country with nature surrounding us. While we have exterminator services, and we are extremely vigilant, occasional bugs, a mouse can be expected (especially if doors are left open).

Casa Estrella is located on our ranch near Los Olivos. Features include fully tiled floors with high ceilings with lots of natural light through the many windows and French doors. The open floor plan of the living room, dining space and kitchen areas are perfect for socializing. Gas fireplace for those cool Fall and Winter nights and air conditioning for the warmer Summer months . A patio with gas BBQ and out door furniture perfect for a warm night's dining.

Casa Estrella is not suitable for pets or children. Please do not sneak cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, infants, toddlers, pre teens or teenagers in with you. For further clarification please contact me.
