If you`d like to guarantee an early check in / late check out, we can block the day before /after for $100.

RENTAL AGREEMENT & CHECK IN PROCESS
Guests are required to sign a short-term rental agreement prior to check-in. The agreement outlines house rules, liability, and property use. We also ask guests to provide an ID and CC upon booking. These additional security measures had to be implemented to prevent fraudulent bookings. A link with all of this information will be provided upon booking. If you are not comfortable with any of this information, you are welcome to cancel within 24 hours of booking as long as it`s not a same day booking.
HOUSE RULES:
- QUIET HOURS: Quiet Hours are from 10pm - 7am. Please bring your conversations indoors by 10pm.
- NO SMOKING: No smoking of any kind (cigarettes, vapors, marijuana, etc) indoors. If you smoke outdoors, please pick up after yourself.
- NO UNREGISTERED GUESTS: A max of 2 guests are allowed and all guests must be a part of your reservation.
- OTHER: Removing shoes indoors helps us maintain a clean home. Illegal activity is not allowed at this property.

Failure to observe any of the House Rules above will result in a minimum $250 fine.

There is a cottage that is not part of your rental and it is totally separated from the main house with separate fenced.

There are exterior security cameras and ring doorbell outside the property. No cameras indoors.

We are just a few blocks away from the house, and will be available for any questions or concerns. We do check in periodically to ensure everything is going well for your stay. We treat our guests with respect, privacy, and try our best to communicate with you as much as possible. We make sure our place is thoroughly cleaned, provide freshly washed sheets, pillow cases, mattress covers for your stay. As a host, we would like to make sure our guests feel at home, safe and experience a pleasant stay.

We reserved one parking space for our guests in our shared driveway ( our driveway is a little steep so please drive in or backup slowly ) if you have more than one car you can also park on the street on the side of the house.

We will contact you prior your arrival to provide you with check in information, including a passcode to enter the house and a WiFi password for internet access.
There are cameras outside of the property and ring doorbells.

By completing a reservation through VRBO you agree to stay at our property on your own risk. You agree not to hold the homeowner liable for any injury that may occur while on the premises, and the owner is not responsible for any lost or damage to your personal items. You agree to release and waive the property owner and to not sue the owner, their staff or employees from any and all demands or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage or injury while on the premises.

Groups of party-sized visitors are not allowed.

Keep outside noise to a minimum after 10pm.

As a friendly reminder, if you have any issue during your stay, please it bring to our attention. We are happy to assist right away. Any refunds on cleaning or nightly rate will not be authorized after check out, and we have a very strict no-smoking policy. Any traces of smoking inside the unit will result in a penalty of $500 USD.

Note: We have a no pet policy, the dog does well with humans but is territorial with other dogs. For liability and safety reasons, we would not be able to host guests with service dogs because of this.

If pets are brought in, this will result in immediate cancellation of the reservation.

Gardener and landscape maintenance will occur twice weekly, they will have access to the backyard.

Trash and Recycling bin must be taken out every Wednesday evening for early Thursday morning pick up.
Please load dirty dishes into the dishwasher and start prior to check out.

Under no circumstance is parties allowed. Immediate cancellation, cops called, and deposit not refunded.

Cannot park on the street every fourth Friday of the month, between 1-4pm. Failure to do so will result in a citation from the city.

The space
Welcome to our completely renovated Silicon Valley Bungalow with AC, Fast Mesh Network WiFi (~120Mbps), Whole House Premium Water (drinkable water drink any tap) and amazing courtyard surrounded by fruit trees.

Your room offers a comfortable queen bed, computer desk, a bookshelf, night side table with lamp and a mini fridge, microwave, water filter pitcher, electric kettle, etc.

You will be able to self check-in, but please confirm your reservation and checkin instruction beforehand, especially when you plan to checkin really late - we might be at sleep.

An unique virtual key will be generated automatically for the duration of your stay. The key will be valid starting at 3:00pm of the check-in date and expired at 11:00am on the check-out date. Make sure you checkin to the right room number and find the physical key (on the desk) to lock your room as well.

To ensure we have a safe and secure place for everyone staying with us. Please keep the door locked at all times. The property is equipped with video surveillance 24/7. Make sure to put down the correct number of guest who will be staying with you in the reservation and informed us through Airbnb app who will be visiting you during your stay in advanced.

Any unsolicited visitors will be considered trespassing, thanks for your understanding!

Guest access
All private room guests will access it through the backdoor of the house through digital key lock. To unlock the door, cover the keypad to wake up the lock, enter the pin and press (the checkmark). Wait for the lock to retract, then enter the home. Then close the door, and turn the knob to the left, so the door is locked.

Please always lock the door when you leave. To lock the door, press any key on the keypad, you will hear the lock engage. The door is locked.

To check out, leave the room key on the desk (don't lock the room), and lock the exterior door on your way out.

At this time we do not allow access to the kitchen, but please feel free to get water from the sink (water filter & electric kettle are included in the room).

During your stay
About Me: I'm software engineer by trade living in the bay area since 2000. Currently I am working on my own startup (in the garage). If you are techie or interested in startup, we will have a lot in common :)

Other things to note
We use Nest thermostat to automatically set the temperature between 68 - 75 Fahrenheit for our entire house (AC/Heat). In the hot and cold days, please close all the doors and windows to help regulate the temperature.

If this room get too warm or too cold, please use the floor fan or space heater in the room help regulate the temperature.

You can also close the air vent in the room in the ceiling right by the entrance to regulate the room temperature.

Due to we have toddlers around the house, we offer 2 pairs of disposable ear plug for each room for anyone who are light sleepers.

The shower can drain slowly sometimes. If it is a problem, please let us know.

NOTE: We are currently adding a tiny guest house (160 sf) at the back of the property (you won't see it till you are in the courtyard), so we may have to move some materials through the courtyard between 9a-5p during the week. Sorry for any potential inconvenience we cause, but we will do our best to keep the common area clean and minimize any interruptions.

You'll be using the back bedroom and bathroom in cozy 1915 Bungalow. In the bedroom there are windows on two walls making the space light and inviting. There is a small refrigerator, microwave and hot water maker provided. You look out on a lush green backyard. Guests also have use of covered deck for relaxing. If you love dogs this is the place to be. Once they get to know you, they love to be petted and played with. And treats - they love their treats that are generously provided.

Guests have a private entrance through a side gate to the backyard, deck and backdoor.
The backdoor opens to the laundry area, your private bathroom to the right and bedroom door to the left. The doors may be kept closed or open. But a word of caution: my dogs love to visit and explore.... so maybe best to keep doors closed when you're not there.

We welcome our guests to our cozy stationary Airstream with private access and free street parking. It is located on the backyard of our home with locked gate access. As a guest you will have a full 22 ft living area with bedroom, kitchen, restroom, and dining area. The place is fully stock with linen, towels, soaps, and all other basic amenities. It's located in a very walkable neighborhood. Walk to restaurants, coffee shops, SAP center, downtown San Jose, and Caltrain Diridon Station.

The space
Our Airstream is perfect for adventurous people that would like to experience the Bay Area on a different way. The place comes with its own kitchen fully equipped with microwave, fridge, and sink (we do not allow use of the stove for safety reasons), full-size bed, dining/living area, and restroom with hot water and soft-water. It comes with its own AC, cool and hot air capable. The Airstream is completely private, but it is in our backyard. You will also have access to our backyard space with patio chairs and a soothing water fountain.

Things to note:
- The Airstream is a Sport 22FB with lots of light and ventilation
- The dimensions are 22'x7' (outside dimensions) it has an open layout that makes it perfect for up to 1 guest
- The water is connected to a softening water system
- Please read our rules and agreement terms below before booking

Guest access
Full access to Airstream (except stove use for security reasons). Although the unit is completely private, it is located on the backyard of our house. Guests will have access to the backyard and the Airstream only.

Other things to note
Since this is a camping trailer, we ask guests to be mindful of all things related to them. We would happily answer any question regarding living on trailer.

Similar to other Airbnb listings, we expect you to treat our Airstream as your own and leave it in the same clean and ordered conditions you found it. This means, collecting all the trash and stripping your bed before you go.

IMPORTANT AGREEMENT:
By completing a reservation at Airstream in the Heart of San Jose through Airbnb, you and all other guests agree to the following:

Unit B is a private garden guesthouse/in-law unit perfect for one person or a couple. Securely located behind a beautiful redwood gate in the backyard of the main house, which is located in the historic Rose Garden neighborhood.
The Rose Garden is a tree-filled, lively, walkable neighborhood with historic homes, shops, cafes, restaurants, Whole Foods, two wineries, a beer and wine bar, and a tap room.

* Queen bed with high quality linens, large closet, and dresser on the main level.

* Dedicated workspace and additional lounge area in the loft. (Loft couch converts to queen bed.)
* Outdoor table and chairs. (Outdoor tableware provided.)

Guest access
Guest have entire guest house to themselves and a dedicated outdoor dining table and chairs in the shared outdoor space. Main house has a dedicated deck and balcony. The back and side yards are communal. Let us know if you want to use the gas or charcoal grills. (They're rustic!)
