- "The space was great. The utensils basic. The beds very comfortable. The location was ideal for the beach and eating in the many nearby restaurants. The view of the ocean was amazing. The soundproofing of the windows had much to be desired. We arrived on Friday evening. The music from the bar/venue below continued until 2am. Saturday it started from the evening until 9am the next morning. Sunday it was over by 2am. If you are alight sleeper bring ear plugs. The toilet kept running. We called and someone came much later in the day to semi fix it. The Wi-Fi did not work so we ended up having to share the passcode with another apartment. "

Note if you are arriving late, ask specifically how to turn on the keypad to enter your apartment - there was a trick to it that I was lucky to figure out at 3am on my own. The staff are wonderfully helpful and were attentive to all of our needs during our stay. Will definitely stay here again if we return to Miami Beach!"

apt located in residential area in the heart of South Beach, Miami.
*Apt is located on first floor of two story walk up 1940's Art Deco bldg.
*It's a ten minute walk to the Ocean, two blocks from Publix, three to
Whole Foods and Starbucks, seven to Public library, three to public park, 15
minute walk to Lincoln Rd, 5 min by bike.
*Shared use of kitchen, living, dining and, of course, bathroom.
*Guest Street Parking passes available for purchase, $4 a night
*City permit for month or longer stay, cost about $90 for the year and can be purchased by you directly with the M.V. department located nearby
*Coin operated Washer and Dryer on premises, outdoors.

*There is a cat in the house.
*Apt is well kept and clean.
*The room separates from the living room with the heavy bamboo wall and sliding door, as shown in photo. It offers privacy but is not a dry wall.

About Kitchen usage........
We prefer to keep the prices set for the budget traveler. As such, we are open to allowing short term guests to use the kitchen but and we ask that you clean up after yourselves and respect our requests on how to maintain it. Please ask to do a walk thru before using as we’ve set aside pots and pans for guest use.

During your stay
The amount of interaction we share depends on what each guest prefers and what our schedule permits.
Guests are welcome to join us to local events whenever possible but we also respect your space.

*Apt is shared between my cousin and me. The small room is sublet when one of us is traveling. In the spirit of opening ones home to others, we aim to provide a clean and safe environment at a decent cost to visitors and as such, our vetting process is strong.
*We prefer guests who are familiar with a home share environment and whom are independent, considerate, easy going and trustworthy.
*Before booking the room, read a few reviews and the house rules and description
*We keep the apt clean and tidy and appreciate a guest who appreciates this.
*Though you need not walk on eggshells, we expect guests to be mindful of the house rules, terms and conditions.

We are flexible when room is unoccupied night before you check in.

*There is no curfew. Please be mindful of our neighbors. Keep voices low upon approaching the building and the hallway, during the wee hours

*Please do NOT walk around apt with shoes used outdoors. Remove your shoes once you've entered apt. We supply guest slippers
*There are 2 indoor/outdoor cats in the house. This is their home. This is not the right space for you if you have an aversion or allergy to pets or cats. We will not lock our cats out for a guest.
*Please do not store or eat food and sweet drinks in the room
*Linen, bath and beach towels and beach bag are provided
*3 references and a valid i.d are required.
* Please do NOT borrow anything from the apt without asking ( please do not take our pillows, towels etc ro trip to the Everglades or Key West. Ask and we’ll help provide the ones we’re ok with lending out.

Our black cat is short haired and doesn’t shed much. Apt is vacuumed regularly. Most guests comment that they didn’t notice there’s a cat if they hadn’t seen her with their own eyes!

Studio on the 16th floor of the condominium, at the corner of Collins and Lincoln streets, simply the best location in South Beach. A few steps away you will find countless restaurants with all kinds of food, from all possible fast foods to sophisticated restaurants, nightlife, pharmacies, liquor stores and the most famous shops in the world.

IMPORTANT: The bathroom is private and not shared. I was unable to change the ad.

The apartment is located in the residential complex "Flamingo South Point" in South Beach. Has an incredible pool with beautiful views. Apartment has a full kitchen, with microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, large refrigerator with freezer, blender, toaster, coffee maker.
One king size bed, which can be separated in case guests want separate beds. A comfortable sofa to watch television or contemplate the bay, is not to be used as a bed, and we do not want more than two guests.
On the same floor, ten steps from the door is the laundry room with washing and drying machines. It works with a card that is bought and recharged in the lobby
There is a Citibike bicycle station (station 154) at the door of the building.

There is no cable TV service. There is a 55' TV so you can watch the platforms you have (Netflix, Disney etc.)
