By the end of the trip we were saying: let’s go “home”….like a couple cliche losers but I wouldn’t have changed a THING and would JUMP at the opportunity to return again any chance I got lol!!! Unfortunately, we didn't get much of a chance to enjoy it; security cameras and motion-sensor lights cover the entire backyard, which made it impossible for us to enjoy the space, esp. at night after we returned from sight-seeing. We didn't feel we had any privacy and, with no way to turn off the lights, the slightest movement triggered extremely bright lights. Located in a residential neighborhood but this is not a quiet area. There is a bus & trolley line on the same street with higher traffic, sits almost directly in a flightpath for MIA and some of the neighbors are pretty lively. There were parties on a couple nights we were there. If we could have enjoyed the outdoor space and 'borrowed' their music for our enjoyment but, for the reasons stated above, we could not. The padlocked gate was good from a security standpoint but a pain having to unlock/lock to park the rental car. Tub drains slow; ankle deep in water by end of shower Great to have W/D but the dryer had something wrong; loud banging/rattling so couldn't use at night. If you are looking for a city setting and don't mind a louder, more 'active' neighborhood, this might be your place but for us, it was just not a good fit."

This area is really safe and quiet and you can walk for just 10 minutes to get to the supermarket and next door drink the best coffee and pastries in Miami, in Cafe Roma. I also love walking under the beautiful trees of Granada Avenue in Coral Gables, or sitting to read and drink a café cubano!

You can rent a car from the Miami Airport, walk to 8th Street to take a bus or get easy rides with Uber or Lyft.

This is a large house. We rent the main house that is in the middle. Then, on the sides of the house, with its independent entrances, we have 2 studios on each side of the house. There are no shared spaces. All the pictures you see in the studio publication are exclusive of the studio.

Maromar House #1 is a completely remodeled house. It has two bedrooms and one bathroom. It can accommodate five guests. It has a kitchen equipped with all appliances and all needed utilities. It has a washer, dryer, and a smart TV everything you need to feel at home.

What's outside?

Parking space for up to three cars. A private backyard with a BBQ, table, chairs, and an umbrella.
Guest access
The entire space, guests will have access to the whole house. It is completely private. Please make yourself at home.

ARRIVING:
Please follow these directions, step-by-step, to get into the house, and you shouldn't have a problem.

When you arrive, you will see a door with a number 1 in front of you with an electronic lock. That's your place!

PARKING:
You will park in the one to the left of the house if you're looking at it.

DOOR CODE: We will send you your Door Code Access one day before your arrival.

TO ENTER: Press the CODE.

TO CLOSE: Just close the door correctly and press the Yale button.

CHECK-IN:
Check-in time is at 3:00 PM. Before you arrive in town, we need to ensure our previous guests have checked out, that the maid service and maintenance have been through the unit, and that linens and towels are fresh and ready for your visit. All this takes time and needs to be done before you check in. Due to this tight timeframe, we don’t allow early check-ins. We apologize for any inconvenience.

CHECK OUT:
Check-out is at 11:00 AM, please be consent of this rule so we can get in there and get it ready for the next guest.
