The sofa bed is a little uncomfortable so recommend bringing a pad but the main bed was very comfortable. Great unit - my only complaint is that I really did not like the lighting in this unit - it felt very harsh and fluorescent but maybe I have extreme taste? It would have benefited from another floor lamp or 2 in the living area. "

The way everything was set up on site , to check-in and check-out was a very seamless process. The property was also very spacious, the beds were very big in size, super comfy, and having the three bathrooms in each bedroom was a such a plus. Greek neighborhood was a wonderful and smart location, everything is walking distance: for any coffee connoisseurs: Ground up Coffee is superb, Target is only a couple blocks down. My three kids age ranging 11-12 and hubby felt very safe walking around. As far as parking there’s no parking garage but we were able to find nearby meter parking. 3 hrs was the limit until 10 pm however was able to find great free parking spots going towards H mart grocers. Overall, first time experience with Sonder properties truly exceeded my family and I’d expectations. All well worth it and would love to use Sonder again for future vacation stays. We were the only guests on the ground floor of the three available rooms that share the common space. This is a guest house and not a full service hotel. Look at the amenities that are provided so you have no surprises. Be sure you bring your own personal items such as shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Very tidy and clean. There is no front desk but the self check in is easy. Be sure to know the procedure before you arrive. I forgot to contact them 24 hrs before arrival to be prepared for the checkin. They were very accommodating and got me all the information I needed via email and text in a very short time. Very easy to access your own personal entrance. Great value for the budget conscious. "

Q: Is the neighborhood safe?
A: Very much so. 24 hours a day.

Q: Do I need to bring towels, a hair dryer, or linens?
A: Nope! we provide all these things. We also provide you and your guests with a starter pack of toilet papers

Q: When can I check in or check out?
A: Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. Early check ins can be difficult if there are guests who checked out same day. We ask for an early check-in, or a late-check out fee, if you request either.

Q: Is the Gym and Rooftop shared?
A: Yes, it is shared so please be respectful of other tenants and guests using the space.

Q: Luggage Drop-Off / Storage?
A: If you do not have flights that coincide with our check-in and checkout times, you may store your bags with Radical Storage near our property. It allows you to store your bags for your optimal time :)

Q: Can I come and go as I please?
A: Yes. And we wouldn't trust any listing with which this isn't the case.

Q: What about parking?
A: We don’t recommend driving because we are so centrally located. You may find a lot or garage nearby for $18-30 / night. There are multiple garages or valet services within 2 blocks.

Q: Is the place professionally cleaned between guests?
A: Yes, and we take pride in providing a clean home for guests.

Q: What's my total booking price?
A: We honestly have no idea. With fees included, it only shows the guest how much they pay. This figure should be present after you enter your dates. Note that, pricing varies on a daily basis, and it actually uses some crazy algorithm to adjust it automatically, so I don't actually control this.

Q: Are the beds comfortable?
A: Very. Some guests say they're the best they've ever slept on!

We were there for a tournament held at McCormick and it was a short drive or Lyft ride. We never had a problem finding street parking outside of the unit. Huge kitchen with plenty of plates and cups but not much in regards to cooking utensils, mixing bowls, etc. If we have another Chicago tournament, we would definitely consider this space to stay in again."

- "The condo was very spacious, beds were super comfortable! The view was great, and we had very easy access to lots of restaurants, plus two different L lines and lots of bus lines to get anywhere we needed to go. We felt completely safe walking around, even after dark. The only complaint we had was that the chairs in the living room were not comfortable at all, and the couch was just ok. (it is a sleeper sofa - great if you needed more sleeping space). But, we weren't there to spend a ton of time in the living room, so it worked out fine. We did get a little confused about the key fob and needing to swipe that upon entry into the building, even when the doors were unlocked, but that was an easy fix. Would definitely recommend if you are traveling to Chicago!"
