- "Not only was the property perfect.. quiet neighborhood and centrally located. Our Realtor was easy to reach and available at all times. We had a great experience on our vacation and will probably use her exclusively for our next trip. Very Courteous, kind and explained everything. The whole place was fully furnished from IKEA. The beds were very cheap memory foam type material. The biggest issue was that the floor was filthy! We bought a box of swiffer wipes and we scrubbed the floor three or four times and it was still so dirty. I think it was the type of flooring or something. They have an outdoor shower, which is a nice feature, but the drain was disgusting and the water backed up when we used it."

Instead of a overpriced hotel room stay this fall and winter at our house and enjoy walking the beach, biking ,hiking ,antiquing and going to great restaurants or end your day grilling on the patio and enjoying the fire pit or sitting by the wood stove in our living room. In summer enjoy all the Cape offers and our beautiful beaches/sunset and ice cream stores close to our house.

Update : We just updated our drive-way with cobble border, native stone and widened somewhat for your convenience plus added a new wood fire pit. Last spring we updated our kitchen floor and did some painting to make the kitchen a more warm / enjoyable area to spend time in.( see photos ).

Our home is located in a quiet convenient neighborhood on a double lot providing extra privacy. This well maintained one level home has an eat in kitchen. attractive living room with smart tv and a wood stove for off season rentals. There are 2 bedrooms; the primary has a queen bed and the second has a full size bed plus bunkbeds. There is a 1/2 bath in the primary bedroom and a full bath off the central hallway.

On the other side of the kitchen is a good size family room with dining set, smart tv, desk and queen size pull-out couch, allowing for a get away place for the kids, teens or private room for guests. Just off the kitchen slider you step onto a charming brick patio area with comfy furniture, gas grill, gas and wood fire pits and large enclosed outdoor shower all amongst a garden setting and private treed yard. There is a storage shed with ramp for storage of bikes, beach chairs etc. and feel free to keep kayaks in the yard .

Our home is centrally located in historic East Dennis just up a slight hill from Route 6A and just 1.35 miles to beautiful Cold Storage Beach which is the closest, Sesuit Harbor and Corporation Beach just a few miles from the house .Take a pleasant bike ride to Cold Storage Beach past beautiful historic homes or kayak through the tidal estuaries from the Sesuit Harbor boat launch, bring your boat and launch at Sesuit Harbor or reserve a slip at the marina. Hike the nearby trails/marshes of the Dennis Conservation Land Trust, swim and fish in the many local ponds, ride or walk the Cape Cod Rail Trail, dine at fantastic local restaurants and enjoy galleries and antique stores all close to our home.

Dog friendly with acceptance from owner needed first and a $ 200.00 nonrefundable fee and dog must be leashed when outside the house when in yard or walking the neighborhood and larger dogs will be considered by us.

We don’t supply linens or towels but I can provide name of a local company if you need one .

At this stage our preference is weekly rentals (Sat to Sat )for the last week of June, all July and Aug and the first two weeks of Sept however, we will consider 4 or 5 night first two of Sept if a Sat rental start or Mon. rental start . During June,July and Aug we might consider 5 nights with a Sat or Mon check in.

The photo showing van parked along street is where you can park cars or a boat or other type trailer if needed so please don’t park on the grass on either side of our gravel drive because our septic system is under the grass .

The primary bedroom is carefully decorated to create a tranquil environment and has a comfortable queen bed with cozy bedding. The closet has been removed to make room for a brand new ensuite bathroom with standup shower, fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Note that storage space is limited in this bedroom, but there is room underneath the bed to tuck away your luggage, and small storage areas in the nightstands.

Next to the primary bedroom is a bright and airy bunkroom, perfect for guests or young children to share. There are 3 twin sleeping spaces in this room (twin bed + bunk beds). This room has ample storage space, including a closet and dresser. Some toys are provided to keep little ones entertained, and books are provided to help with bedtime.

On the other side of the living room is our brand new, fully stocked kitchen with all new cabinets, appliances, and cookware. Make yourself a cup of complimentary coffee with our Keurig. And help yourself to all the things you need to cook yourself dinner from scratch. We also include some plastic dishware for the kiddos with butter fingers ;).

The kitchen opens into the Great Room which offers additional space for guests to enjoy and makes the home feel more spacious. There is a futon for extra sleeping space, a desk station, and a dining area with seating for 6.

The Great Room leads to our private deck and spacious backyard. Fire up a meal using the BBQ grill and gather underneath the large patio umbrella. At night, cozy up by the fire pit with your favorite beverage or make some s’mores!

Where we’re located - Follins Pond - is a tidal lake. So, in the non-summer months, high tide and / or excessive precipitation can cause the water levels to rise quite a bit, bringing the waterfront much closer to the cottage. It’s perfectly normal for our location, to be expected, and nothing at all to be worried about. We understand that it might catch guests off guard, though, so want to provide a heads up. Please inquire with us if you have any questions at all about this.

- "Adrianna and Tara were incredible from the time we booked until we checked out. The property is in the perfect location and the house is stocked with truly everything you can think of and more--full kitchen, beautiful bedding, custom robes, so many games, books, etc. paddle boards, kayaks, more outdoor games, an incredible backyard with views of the water, a sauna, and a fireplace. There is a tv in each room, a desk in each of the bed rooms (ideal for working from there!) and an two incredible showers (one inside and one outside). We had an absolute blast. - "Please note this is a basement apartment. It is small. The “living room” is the hallway to the bedroom. If people are staying in the house above you, you can hear every footstep very loudly. The basement location makes it dark. It was recently painted and you can smell that, not able to really air the smell out: lack of windows. The little eating space outside is underneath the deck, so it feels dark and cramped. The place needs some area rugs and a broom. The small vacuum they provided did not pick up all of the sand off the floor."

This room is naturally bright and sunny, but darkening shades and curtains soften the light to make a snooze that much easier day or night.
A full-sized bed provides ample room to stretch and unwind.
A newly renovated bathroom is shared with only one long term guest who is thoughtful, neat, and gracious.

The home is situated in a quiet, established neighborhood where people often walk and chat across lawns and driveways.
Just around the corner is Smugglers Ice Cream, Nancy's Candies, Scargo Lake and Tower, and at least 7 beaches are within short drives.

Guest access
Lights and lamp post are set to timers (4:30p-12a) so that no one stumbles. Guests enter through the front door. Your room will be at the top of stairs, first door on your left.

Each room has its own key/lock so the front door is rarely locked unless an incoming guest has a preference. If I know your ETA you won’t need to use the doorbell, the door will be open for you and you should come in.
Light switch for the stairs is to the right. Another light switch is at the top.

From the front door, the kitchen is straight ahead. Fridge door will provide water and ice. Glasses in cabinet to left.
In the morning, keurig and electric kettle are on the counter behind the sink. Refillable pods and coffee are nearby.

During your stay
I like to meet people when they arrive. It’s a ‘touch base’ kind of thing. “Do you need anything?” Is part of it but also, “this is who I am, don’t hesitate to ask, and just so you know, I expect you to relax and sleep well before you take off tomorrow! …” , and, I’ll admit it.. “who are you and what are you all about?”.
Some guests engage readily with questions and shared experiences, and others have their agenda all set. Both are fine and fun for me.

During the last week of June,all July and Aug first week of Sept. we prefer weekly rentals from Sat to Sat however, feel free to request shorter stays of 4-5 nights for June and Sept and 5 nights during July and Aug and we'll see if we can accommodate your request.

Plenty of sheets, towels, pillows and blankets etc. available for your use. (Please wash and dry if possible any items you use).

Guest access
Guests will have access to a fully functional kitchen and nice laundry area downstairs. The shed on the side of the house holds the outdoor furniture, and BBQ (which is a small Weber grill) as well as a table to grill on and grilling utensils.

Other things to note
Screen doors are very fragile and haggard due to extreme conditions on The Cape. Please take care when using. They should also be locked at all times to avoid being blown about by the wind and damaged further. Thanks!

There is a hairdryer in the bathroom cupboard. There is also an iron and ironing board in basement storage area.

There is NO AC at this cottage, but I have 15 screened functional windows, four fans and an ocean breeze.

During March and early April there will be no Wi-Fi or cable access. Wi-Fi and cable services will be back on April 11th. Sorry for the inconvenience. You are usually able to pick up a Wi-Fi signal at the cottage although there will be no service set up until I arrive in May.

Summer weeks run Sat-Sat. This cheery, private (yet near everything!) spot is walk distance to the Lost Dog Pub, a horse farm Smuggers Ice Cream, Grumpy's, The Marshside Restaurant AND Sesuit Cafe, Beach and Harbor are only a mile away! You have your own driveway, fenced yard, and private entrance. A Weber gas grill and patio set grace the back yard. A WELL MANNERED, crate trained dog is welcome. Possibility of dog sit/walk/training while you beach, attend an event, or take a local day trip!

The space
This studio has a comfy pull down Murphy Bed that will be all set up for your arrival. There is a seating area to relax and also a bar with two stools. There is a small TV that is set for streaming your Netflix or other account. It may be moved so you can watch from bed or from seating area. There is a small dresser and a rack to place wet towels. There is an over the door rack with hangers for hanging clothes. The outside is great - your own fenced-in private back yard! You can walk down your own private driveway to all the places mentioned above. It is a great neighborhood!. You will enjoy privacy yet be close to so much!

My house has everything you need for the perfect Cape Cod vacation or Winter Rental from October - May! My home is located on a quiet street. You'll love the brand-new kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher & Keurig coffee maker. The washer/dryer is on the 1st floor, and The internet is high-speed. Smart TV's for you to stream your favorite shows. Please note that I accept non-sheding dogs in the winter months.

The space
My home is located on a quiet, residential street. It is clean and updated. The new fully applianced kitchen has a dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and gas stove. The washer/dryer is on the 1st floor. You’ll have high-speed internet and a smart TV in the living room perfect for streaming your favorite shows.. My home has four bedrooms and 1 and 1/2 baths with a jacuzzi tub. Most guests prefer to use the outdoor shower in the summer. There are two bedrooms on the first floor - one has a queen-size bed, and the other has a full-size bed. There are two bedrooms on the second floor: one with a queen bed and the additional bedroom with twin beds. There is an enclosed sun porch off the kitchen. The heated outdoor shower is a perfect way to end your fabulous beach day!! There is a locked shed to store your bikes, fishing gear, etc.. Nice backyard with a relaxing sun porch, patio, fire pit(propane), outdoor shower & natural gas grill.
Centrally located approx 3-4 miles to both Bay Beaches (Mayflower... my favorite!) and Nantucket Sound's (West Dennis Beach). Walk to Kelly's Bay at the end of the street. Weekly beach sticker available at Town Hall (open Sat & Sun). The pass runs from Sat thru Fri. Daily parking passes are available at the beach. One block (walking distance) from my home is Johnny Kelley Recreation Center, featuring tennis & basketball courts, walking trails, and a playscape. My house is centrally located close to Patriot's Square (Stop & Shop for groceries), a movie theater, Cape Playhouse, restaurants, shopping, golf - mini and 18 holes, go-carts, trampolines, kayak rentals, and parasailing. The Cape Cod Rail Trail is a paved bike and walking trail only a 3-minute drive away with plenty of public parking.

You would be renting the entire home - no area is off limits. There are beach chairs and beach/toys for you to enjoy. I have a shed which you can use to stow your bikes.

Other things to note
Your rental begins at 4 pm the day you arrive and ends at 11 am on your last day. There are bed linens, bath towels, pillows, and blankets for you to use. Please bring your own beach towels. If you use my bed linens and bath towels, you will need to wash & dry them and leave them folded on top of the dryer when you leave. The washer and dryer are on the 1st floor. You will need to walk the trash cans to the end of my short driveway the night before trash pickup day. I will have laundry detergent for you; however, all other household items (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.) will be your responsibility. The grocery store (Stop & Shop) is minutes from the house.

My top floor place is close to family-friendly activities. You’ll love my place because of the high ceilings, the ambiance, and the location. My place is good for couples, business travelers, and families (with 2 kids).

There are window air conditioners in every bedroom and there are fans for the kitchen and family rooms if the weather gets unseasonably warm for the Cape. Due to the linear layout of the home, we find the house gets a steady breeze if you keep the front and back doors open. Note that there are screens on the windows and doors as well.

In Bedroom 3, the bunk beds are designed for children; we strongly discourage adults from sleeping on bunk beds.

This is a quintessential Cape Code summer getaway house by the sea. Just a lovely stroll (.30 Mi) down the road will take you to your choice of two excellent Bayside beaches (Cold Storage Beach Or Sea Street Beach).

Our home is a 1700 sq. ft. ranch style house on a quiet cul-de-sac north of Route 6.

The space
When you walk in the front or side door you will enter the open-floor-plan kitchen, living and dining area. The cozy dining nook seats at least six. The kitchen has quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances, as well as an island that seats three. The living room has a wood burning fireplace, sectional couch and a Sonos speaker. We have a three season room off the back of the house that opens up to the main living area via french doors.

Down the hall you will find three bedrooms and two full bathrooms.

Heading to the basement there is another living space with a TV, leather couch, game cabinet and mini fridge. There is NO bathroom in the basement. We have a desk, chair and a printer in the common space in the basement.

High speed internet is available, and our three TV's have YouTubeTV, Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+ (living room, master bedroom and basement).

Outside you will find a grill on a small deck off the side of the house and a stone patio in the back that has an outdoor dining table, fire pit with Adirondack chairs and an outdoor shower. Grab the corn hole boards out of the shed, turn on the outdoor string lights and enjoy the Cape!

From our cottage you could stroll to our "little beach" on Cape Cod Bay, Sesuit Harbor, the Cafe, or the town landing benches to watch the harbor activity or sunset. The cottage is less than 200 yards to Harbor View Beach. It is the perfect location for a single person or a couple. Come and enjoy Cape Cod with us from June-October. You won't want to leave!

The space
INTERIOR: This open space studio cottage is tastefully decorated and features a petite kitchen complete with dishes, pots, coffee maker, toaster, compact cube refrigerator, stove/oven, table and chairs for two. For your outdoor BBQ, you have a choice of a gas or charcoal grill.

A comfortable queen-size bed (linens are not provided), cable TV, air-conditioning, and a private tiled bathroom with shower complete the studio cottage. An attached screened-in porch with sturdy wicker furniture provides additional space and a cool spot to enjoy your morning coffee and a good book. Until late-June, windows in the porch area protect the furnishings and those guests with allergies from the pine pollen.

This is the perfect get-away for a couple or a single person and provides a convenient base to explore the Cape.

SETTING: The cottage is located behind the main house with separate parking for one car and a separate entrance that affords privacy for our guests.

GENERAL INFORMATION: Experience Cape Cod from this cozy cottage located north of 6A on Sesuit Neck in the beautiful bay-side community of East Dennis. It is a quiet, family friendly neighborhood where you can stroll to the bay beach and happening spots in the neighborhood - like Sesuit Harbor and the Cafe. Our cottage it is just 1/10 mile or two short blocks to the beach. Our little beach/Harbor View Beach is on Cape Cod Bay and is the perfect family beach with calm clean water. The beach is located next to Sesuit Harbor where you can watch the boats during the day and witness the spectacular sunsets in the evening. Come and have some fun on Cape Cod!

Enjoy a relaxing and comfortable vacation with close proximity to the Cape Playhouse for live theater, the Cape Cinema known for its showings of independent films, two of the finest public golf courses on the Cape, the Cape Cod bike trail, quaint shops, museums, charter boats, fishing, local restaurants, the Cape Cod National Seashore, and ferries to the islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. OFF-SEASON RENTALS: During May and early-June, the cottage can be rented nightly/3 night minimum. 3-night minimum rentals are also available late-September and October.
