The new "Train-to-the-Plane" light rail is just 2 miles from the home. It runs every 15 min and can get you to DÍA in 27 minutes.
We now offer off-street parking! Street parking is often plentiful on our block as well.

All surfaces are sanitized, and dishes and linens are washed between guests. My dogs and I live upstairs, so you will hear us occasionally, but I try to minimize any noise as much as I can. Because of this, it's unsuitable for working remotely full time.

When you walk through the redwood gate, the stone walkway leads you to the large back yard. You'll go through your own entrance, then down a well lit staircase to your private living quarters. Most rooms have dimmable lights.
The bedroom has a thick queen memory foam mattress with two large drawers. There are dimmable reading lights, a remote-controlled electric fireplace, a full-sized closet, light-blocking cordless shades, and a Japanese Zen garden window egress. The hall leading to the bedroom has a HVAC Duct in living room with a 6' 2" clearance.
You'll have you own full-sized washer and dryer with all necessary laundry supplies (including an iron and ironing board.)
The fully equipped kitchen has pots, pans, bakeware, drip coffee maker, a French press coffee maker, electric tea kettle, large microwave/convection oven, toaster, two induction cooktops, a garbage disposal, a Bosch dishwasher, granite counters, full sized refrigerator, plates/cups/glasses, cutlery, placemats/napkins, Brita water filter, and complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, half and half, etc.
In the living room, there's a couch/full sized sofa bed, ottomans, an electric fireplace. and TV trays. There is a flat screen TV with cable, Amazon Prime and Amazon fire stick. The wood table with chairs seats two. Please note, there is a HVAC Duct in living room with a 6' clearance.
The entire private garden level apartment is exclusive to my guests. You will have your own well-lit private "Asian inspired" gated walkway, and you can enjoy sunsets on the gliding bench on your own front porch.
We share the backyard patio which has a wooden table and chairs with cushions, four adirondack chairs, two zero gravity chairs, and two barbecues. In the summer there is fresh produce from the garden and herbs to cook with.
- My dogs are not allowed downstairs. I'll give you treats to facilitate your meetings. Even so, Chèvre will still bark at you. She is Drew Barrymore in "50 first dates." Fauci is my Covid puppy and is very shy.
- The upstairs wood floors of this 76 year-old house do squeak in some rooms.
- There is no smoking or vaping of any kind inside, so use the back patio and or front deck.

I live in a very safe and quiet neighborhood and my neighbors are all aware I do short-term rentals and all are OK with it. My short term rental tax ID number is 301093. I renew my license every year. My home is located at Poplar and 4th. Major close cross streets are 6th Avenue one block east of Quebec. There are wide streets, plenty of parking and 35 minutes to the airport. I-70, downtown Denver in 15 min. RTD airport train at 40th & Colorado Blvd. is a 10 minute drive. There is also a bus pick-up within a 5 minute walk. I am also five minutes from the Lowry Eating Disorder Clinic Disorder Clinic, 24 Hour Fitness and Wings over the Rockies aircraft museum.
I do charge a one-time non-refundable pet fee of $75 for the stay. Please do NOT wash your dog in the bathtub, please clean up the yard after them and put their poop in a plastic bag before throwing it in the garbage receptacle. I do not allow pets on furniture or bed. In the bottom of the linen closet there are older towels to clean them and a couple of toys for them. I will allow only small dogs but I will need to know what breed and size the dog is first. My home is in a very safe neighborhood with wide streets. I don’t have a garage but you can park very close to the front door.
The neighborhood is transitional from original ranch homes like mine, to million dollar homes next door. I have a fully landscaped large backyard. It is fully fenced with a 900 square-foot grass area walkways and mulched areas and a patio with furniture and grill.
Guest access:
Neighborhood restaurants, walk to Starbucks in 5 min. Downtown Denver is 15 min. drive. Cherry Creek is 8 min. away for other restaurants, bars and great retail stores. I am close to so many great neighborhood restaurants, 24 Hour Fitness and Orange Theory within 5 minutes, bus stop can walk to in less than 5 minutes.
Interaction with guests:
I travel a lot for pleasure. I won't be around but will always be available via phone and/or text and e-mail. I have a combo front door lock with instructions on the front door. The combo will give you prior to arrival. My residence is non-smoking. If you need to smoke, do it outside only for both cigarettes and marijuana. Any questions you have prior to your visit let me know.
The neighborhood:
As I said, great wide streets in a transitional neighborhood. Wonderful, pleasant, friendly neighbors. Great location. I have a very large backyard and quiet area. A variety of restaurants. Please check out the Guidebook for places I have recommended.
Getting around:
There is a bus stop within a 5 minute walk on 6th avenue. There is also Uber and Lyft.
Other things to note:
I enjoy cooking so the kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and gadgets. You may use the items in my refrigerator and spices, etc. to cook with and anything in the pantry. I have a Keurig machine for tea/coffee and a coffee maker with coffee provided. There is also an espresso machine in the pantry if you want to use it. I have paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo conditioner and soap available to you at a minimum. Help yourself to the snack basket. So, keep your car locked and valuables not left in your car just to be safe!

Homeleigh Cottage in the historic Montclair neighborhood on the East side of Central Denver is the perfect clean, cozy cottage vacation stay for one or two people. Artwork and unique collections make it reminiscent of an English cottage. It exudes old-fashioned comfort but features all the modern amenities. Enjoy flicking on the gas fireplace and snuggling up with a book or perhaps the latest copy of English Home magazine. Settle in at the back yard table and chairs under the pergola on one of Denver’s famously comfortable summer evenings and sip a glass of wine while grilling on the gas grill and gazing at the garden. Dine out at nearby restaurants or prepare your own dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. The safe, quiet neighborhood is conducive to walking, and I have furnished some maps for walks if you’re interested in historic houses. As with many lovely English cottages, you’re even within shouting distance of your own local historic castle!
East Denver location makes it relatively close to the airport – about 15 miles (or approximately 25 minutes via I-70, depending on traffic) away. Central Park train station (to the airport or downtown) is 2.5 miles away.

In this apartment, you'll have a private entrance and easy-to-find street parking. There are 2 bedrooms. The master has a queen bed, an easy chair with footstool, and a stand-alone closet. The other bedroom has a full bed and a stand-alone closet. There is also a pull-out couch in the living area for larger groups.
The unit was newly built at the end of 2015, and has hardly been lived in since, so everything is up-to-date. The apartment has high ceilings, which are quite uncommon in the Congress Park neighborhood, and lots of natural light.
A newly purchased washer and dryer allow you to keep your vacation wardrobe tidy and clean, while the home also comes stocked with fresh linens and towels. The pristine, full bathroom features a shower/tub combo for your morning prep. If needed, there are a clothes iron, ironing board and hair dryer all available.
The living area has a brand new large flat-screen Smart TV with Roku streaming (no cable though) and magazines.
The kitchenette has a full-sized fridge, sink, large toaster oven, microwave, blender (NutriBullet), cutting boards, coffee maker (with complementary coffee), kettle (with lots of complementary tea from our travels around the world), utensils, and more. No oven or hotpad though! If you aren’t in the mood to eat in, we've provided menus for the very long list of walkable restaurants and bars nearby.
The space is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, & families. If you are here for work, there is a desk, a kitchen table and a couch, all of which make nice places to work from. Our internet is very reliable and fast (maximum speed of 1000 mbps), so it can handle all of your needs. The unit is easily accessible with a digital keypad that we will send you the code for so no worries if you need a late check-in - there's no need to coordinate schedules to get a key from us.
The apartment is nice & cool in the hot summer months and warm & cozy when it's cold out.
Guest access
You have sole access to the entire apartment throughout your stay. We reserve the backyard and front yard, however, for our family's use.
Other things to note
Our house is 112 years old, which adds to its charm but also means that there is noise transfer between levels given that we live above the unit. This includes when someone is walking up and down the stairs, or when the kids are running around on the main level. We keep quiet hours between 10pm and 7am, and are very conscious to make sure that things are quiet during those hours. After 7am we'll be up and about on the main level. If you are a light morning sleeper and plan to sleep-in, we provide sound machines to block out the morning noises before we leave for work and school. However, if you need absolute silence, that isn't something that we can guarantee during the times that we're around!
Check-in time is after 3pm, while check out time is 10am. However, we are happy to be flexible when no one else is departing/arriving on the same day.
We don't allow smoking. When you are booking please note the correct number who will be staying as the price may vary. If the number of guests who stay varies from the number who are listed, we will ask the booking be updated.

Parking - You are free to use the garage to park while staying with us, as long as you're not driving a TANK. Most mid size cars and smaller SUVs fit just fine. If you are driving a tank we live on a cul-de-sac next to a park where there are no homes. There is always plenty of parking there. Or, many guests will use the curved part of the alley just outside the cottage to park.
Our Neighborhood - We are in the historic Whittier neighborhood just North of downtown Denver. We are walking distance to many breweries and restaurants in the RiNo Art District. We're a quick 7 minute walk to the light rail station that will take you downtown to the 16th St Mall. Or, an Uber to just about anywhere downtown or RiNo is around $10 during non-prime hours. Also, since we're centrally located we are close to many museums, parks, sporting events, zoo, etc. Great location for a home-base for all of your exploring needs!
Aurora and I really did spend a great deal of time and thought into making our space feel like home! We've included several little "perks" like the coffee bar, pillow menu and some others that you'll just have to discover when you book with us. :-)

Welcome to our “guest house” located in the heart of the Park Hill neighborhood of Denver. This area has become the one of the sought after locations to live in Denver. We are on a quite residential street just four blocks from the 330 acre Denver City Park which includes: The Denver Museum of Nature and Science, The Denver Zoo, and City Park Golf Course. We are just two blocks from Colorado Blvd, one of Denver's main north/south arteries, and less than two miles from Interstate 70, with the Colorado and 40th light rail station just six minutes away. Access is easy to all parts of Downtown Denver as well as Denver International Airport.
The variety and quality of food available in Denver is truly wonderful, and new eateries are opening at an amazing pace. We are just fourteen blocks north of Colfax Avenue which offers many many unique food and entertainment venues as well a easy access to the convention center and city center museums and attractions. Just a few examples of places you may want to visit are: the newly developed Shops at Northfield (12 minutes), The Denver Art Museum (14 minutes), Coors Field, home of the Rockies (11 minutes), or Mile High Stadium, home of the Broncos (13 minutes). If it sounds like we are in the middle of what’s happening, you are absolutely correct . . . location, location, location.
The house is a charming two bedroom one bathroom brick home home built in the 1940s and completely renovated, with beautiful hardwood floors, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. It has a jetted tub in the black and white tiled bathroom. The living / dining area has a 40 inch flat screen TV with Xfinity cable and very fast wifi. It is well set up for two couples or a family of four or five to thoroughly enjoy your stay in Denver.
Our family has owned vacation rentals for over ten years and we have stayed in many, many short term rentals on vacation and on business, so we have tried very hard to make this a great place to stay while you enjoy Denver and all that this area has to offer. • Back patio is a shared space and the owner (Bryce) lives in the upstairs unit. You may see cross paths with him out there from time to time.
NOTE - the nest may not be the best fit for you if:
• You have difficulty with stairs. This is a garden level (basement) unit and as such is accessed by walking down a flight of stairs
• You're uncomfortable with the owner living upstairs
• You are very tall. The ceilings are generally 6’ 9” (205cm), with a support beam soffit running through the suite at 6’ 4” (193cm). The larger bed is a queen size sleigh bed measuring 6’ 8” (203cm) in length.
• You prefer a highly walkable neighborhood. We have a few restaurants, a brewery, and small shops within easy walking distance, but if you won't have a car for your stay, please plan to use public transit or Uber/Lyft. Getting around without a car isn't difficult, but having one would be easier.
• You plan to have a party or other event
• You plan to sneak in extra guests, pets, smoke indoors, or otherwise break any house rules. Disrespecting house rules will be dealt with strongly.
You'll primarily speak with Bryce, but may also hear from his co-hosts if he's unavailable.
Guest access
Street parking is free and very open (up to two cars).
Guests have their own indoor separate unit with its own kitchen, bath, living room, bedrooms, and separate entrance. None of the indoor spaces are shared.
Other things to note
• Bryce's cat also lives upstairs. The ductwork is for the whole building, so if you have extreme allergies to animals the nest may not be the best fit for you.
• TV is for streaming services only
HOUSE RULES:
• No smoking of any kind indoors. 420 and tobacco are allowed outside. Please dispose of butts and blunts in the red flower pot. Ask me for dispensary recommendations!
• No candles or other open flames allowed indoors.
• Absolutely no pets.
• No shoes are allowed on the carpet. Please remove shoes while inside the suite at the bottom of the stairs.
• No eating in bed.
• No firearms are allowed on the property.
• Quiet hours are between 10pm-8am in accordance with Denver law. We love our neighbors and want to avoid excessive outdoor noise at all times.
• All overnight guests must be included in the "number of guests" on your reservation. If you'd like to have friends/family stop by the suite to visit, please shoot us a quick message so we know they're expected on the property. Please plan for any visitors to leave by 12:00 AM / midnight.
• Towels and linens that are damaged or left with stains that cannot be washed out will be charged to the security deposit.
• Please tell me your favorite color in your first message so we know you’ve read the House Rules.
• While children are welcome at the nest, guests should be mindful that there are some safety hazards that could be an issue with some kids. These include but are not limited to:
1. Cleaning supplies and other chemicals are not locked or out of reach of children.
2. Some shelving is not secured to withstand climbing.
3. Kid friendly amenities like plastic dishes, kid size utensils, Crib/Pack n' Play, toys, etc are not available at this time, but are being gradually added in as demand permits - suggestions welcome!
Fines for breaking House Rules are as follows:
1. Any smoking indoors = a minimum fee of $350 and any additional charges needed to remove the smell of smoke up to the full cost of your deposit.
2. Non-disclosed pets = $200 per day
3. Non-disclosed guests/visitors = Any non-disclosed overnight guests will be charged at $100 per person per day. Non-disclosed visitors will be charged at $50 per person per incident. These measures are in place for liability and safety reasons by preventing parties/events and extra guests being snuck in.
4. Excessive cleaning will be charged an extra $100. In general, "leave it how you found it" and you'll be just fine.
5. Late check-out that has not been pre-arranged will be charged $50 per 15min increment over your allotted check-out time. The clock starts 15mins after check-out. This is to ensure we have enough time to fully clean and prepare the suite to offer our next guests a great stay.

The Party Palace features a 1000+ square foot Game Room in the lower level which includes a pool table, roulette/poker table, “Pop-a-shot” dual basketball game, HD projector with 128-inch motorized projector screen, PlayStation VR (Virtual Reality gaming console), and two sets of bunk-beds with queen mattresses on the bottom and twin mattresses on top.
From the moment you enter the home, the touch-points are endless: cast-iron and brass railings, gourmet kitchen with stainless-steel appliances, granite countertops, oak hardwood floors, voice-activated color-changing lights, Sonos speakers, Alexa devices in each room, and rainfall shower-heads in each of the full bathrooms.

Three bedroom suites are located on the upper level of the home, and one bedroom is on the main level. For larger groups, we will provide extra rollaway beds so everyone is comfortable. The house can sleep a total of 20 guests. Rates are based on occupancy, which includes anyone who will be entering the property at any point during your stay. While events are welcome, they must be pre-approved, and additional fees will apply.

I host out of the bedroom in the front of the house, I have a bedroom, in the back of the house. It’s roomy and sunny, I just moved in, and am trying to pull things together w/ furniture and things. There’s a lot going on, but did find a very comfortable bed and it is in place and ALL sheeted w/ warm blankets👐🏻come visit.

This house was built in 1929, has a bit of old world charm still left in it….not many up-graded features, but it’s a sweet little property that will have been standing on this corner, for 100 years in 1929. I’ve added a xeriscape garden to the exterior and it should be cracking w/ spring time bulbs, ver soon.🌷

Enjoy this charming historic urban farmhouse. The property is located right off of the historic Colfax Ave, fifteen minutes from downtown, not far from popular nightlife, easy access to I-70/DIA, and walking distance to the local brewery, Fiction. The space
This charming old home is my primary residence, and two bedrooms are rented out to Airbnb guests. The guest rooms are located in the basement, along with a common area and bathroom. The main floor is another common area and kitchen. There is an upstairs floor which is off limits to guests.
The outdoor space is great for relaxing or hosting friends.
Guest access
Guests have access to the basement space: a common area, bathroom, and their designated bedroom. The outside back yard/patio area is also common space for guests as well.
Guests also have access to the kitchen area, laundry room (washer/dryer), and other additional amenities.
During your stay
I tend to work odd hours, but may be available during your visit to socialize. I may sometimes need to amend the check in times for some reservations due to my unique work schedule. I will contact you prior to your stay to see if this will be an issue.
I also tend to be a hands off host. If you ever need anything, please don’t hesitate to ask.
A 55lb goldendoodle named Enzo does live on the property. He lives upstairs, and does not enter the basement guest areas. A gate keeps him from going downstairs from the main floor area. He is extremely loving and sweet, but can get very excited when guests enter the upstairs kitchen space. A few pats and some love should calm his excitement.
Please always be conscious of other guests at all times. If you need Denver help, please let me know, I am always willing to help suggest fun things for you to do, if preferred.

The suite has it's own patio, private entrance and is separate from the main house. The suite includes a bedroom, sitting room, and bath room. We provide a coffee machine, coffee, candy and a small wine fridge. The suite is within 15 minutes of Downtown, LoDo, Rino, City Park, Stapleton and Lowry Town Centers, museums, zoo, and The Cherry Creek Shopping District. There are lots of nearby restaurants/bars/breweries.
The space
The sitting room provides sitting for two, a Keurig coffee machine. coffee, creamers, sugar and teas. There is also candy. The small wine fridge will keep your drink cold, but does not have a freezer compartment.
The bathroom has a combo jetted tub and shower with very good water pressure.
The bedroom contains a closet, iron and ironing board, dresser, desk and quee size bed. A heater/air conditioning unit will be provided based on the season. There are extra pillows and blankets.
Other things to note
There is not a kitchen, cook top, or microwave. Cooking or preparing food is not allowed for safety reasons and because the plumbing in that part of the house cannot handle food waste.
There is free Wifi but no TV. You are free to use your own device to stream your own services such as NetFlix, Hulu, etc.
The suite is tobacco and 420 friendly, but all smoking must be done outside on the patio with the door and windows closed. Rolling blunts or cigarettes using loose leaf tabacco or marijuana and packing pipes must be done outside.
Edibles con be consumed inside.
Due to host allergies and the safety of the ducks and chickens in the backyard, no guest animals including support/assistance animals are allowed.
We are not setup to allow children. Infants under the age of 12 months are allowed, but we do not have a crib or pak-n-play.

My house is located in the beautiful neighborhood of Park Hill, with many trees and sidewalks. Shops and restaurants in walking distance. Bus stop 1 1/2 blocks with short ride to downtown.
Suite is in the lower level of house with private entry from my garden.
Suite has private bedroom with queen bed and bath with over-sized tub/shower; along with a comfy family room. In front of the family room is the kitchenette, refrigerator, coffee maker, all in one toaster/air flyer, and washer/dryer.
The space

South Park Hill home on the East Side of Denver. Near I-70, near the Central Park light rail stop (to head downtown or DIA), & two major bus lines. Light-filled basement level unit with lots of art, microwave, fridge, smart TV, WIFI, and a brand new queen size bed. Near Stanley Marketplace, shops at 23rd/Oneida & more. Access is through the garage off the alley.
I am 6 mi to Ball Arena, 11 mi to Empower Field, & 27 mi to Red Rocks.

The space
After you message me that you've arrived, I'll open the garage door and that's where you'll enter, walk a few steps, and then through a door in the original garage, through another door (with a keypad) and down the stairs into your unit (easier than it looks written out!). The bedroom is behind a barn door on the right and has an egress window and walk-in closet. The main space has living/dining/kitchenette combined. The bathroom is at the north end of the room, behind another barn door and includes a shower and a draining rack for dishes. I live on a busy street, so there might be some noise that filters through, although most guests don't notice it.
The garage measures 20' x 20'. If you have a large vehicle, please verify it will fit before you book.
