It was surprisingly nice - clean, new, with a well-equipped kitchen, bath, deck, BBQ, A/C, and even a TV. The propane stove heated the place somewhat, but it was still a bit chilly at night. Nonetheless, this was a magical semi-camping experience in a great location. The campground has swimming pools and a host of other activities we didn't have time to try, but we'll return. This was great fun at an affordable price."

Beautiful log cabin with pond, Mt Bachelor views and two hundred acres of hiking behind the property. 12 minutes to Sunriver resort and 25 minutes to Bend. Gateway to Paulina and East lakes and all the Cascade lakes. 30 minutes to Mt. Bachelor ski area. Occasional eagle sightings and train whistle. Lite breakfast is also included! You have access to all the house including kitchen and barbeque. I stay off the living room in a studio with my two friendly dogs and private entrance. I do not come into the house. Plenty of parking including trailers and boats. There are stairs to front door and both bedrooms are upstairs. There is also a hot tub on the back deck. Two night minimum and four night maximum.

- "This house and location is GORGEOUS! We have four adult children, and three of them have significant others that join us. There are five bedrooms, so this allows everyone to have their own space. The house is right on the river, which is wonderful for tubing. This allows you to put into the river before the bridge, which makes it quieter and calmer float experience compared to the other side of the bridge. In addition, there’s a large deck that overlooks the river. We bring our corn hole with us and enjoy playing corn hole and barbecuing, in addition, there’s a large table inside and outside that allows all of us to sit and play games together. The kitchen is very well stocked and has everything you can think of and lots or refrigerator and freezer space since they have 2. The house is well stocked with beach towels, tubes for water, kayaks, bikes, and they even provide toiletries if you don’t want to bring your own. The pool, fitness room, and playground are across the street and close enough to see from the driveway. From the pool you can see the tennis/pickle ball courts if you want to work up a sweat before you swim. Two adult mountain bikes and tennis/pickle ball equipment have been provided for your enjoyment.

In the wintertime there are plenty of trails for cross country skiing or snow shoeing from the front door. Mt. Bachelor is less than 30 minutes away if downhill skiing, snowboarding, or even dog sledding is more your idea of a great time.

You are only a 10 minute drive from the Sunriver Resort for shopping, dining out, golf, spa, waterpark, horseback riding, and additional bike trails if you want to visit there.

Downtown Bend is about 25 miles. But you will enjoy coming back home to a place that is much less crowded and more private.

The greatroom with its attached large kitchen and adjoining deck provide the perfect space for everyone to socialize together. The large open space allows you to cook, watch TV or chat with everyone while preparing your own meals. - "The perfect family getaway home! Celebrated our dads 50th birthday and it was perfect. Family friendly for sure! Had some issues with hot tub draining, otherwise it was perfect." - "This house was perfect! It is beautifully decorated, well-stocked, comfortable, thoughtfully laid out, and there is practically another living area outside. The game room upstairs provided hours of entertainment - with pool, shuffleboard, darts, and a game system. We used the big tv with the karaoke app and microphones we brought with us, and the massage chairs were rarely unoccupied. AND my partner and I won the ping pong tournament in the garage! The large covered deck has a hot tub and sauna, and cozy gathering areas around a both a table and a gas fire pit - with lots and lots of chairs. Nice studio with gorgeous views of the Big Deschutes River. The studio is a new addition, attached to the main house and has it’s own private entry. There is a kitchenette with a granite countertop, small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster oven and 2 burner portable cooktop. It is nicely decorated and has a custom queen size bed made out of beautiful old barnwood. There is a small dock for a kayak, canoe or small fishing boat. Property is located 19 miles southwest of Bend & 4 miles southwest of Sunriver.

Overall they were really great and accommodating and really went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Attached only by a laundry room and one wall, it’s peaceful and private. We’d love to host you for a getaway, work trip, or a comfy stop along your journey!

The space
We live just a few minutes from the Deschutes River access, approx. 20 min. to Bend and to the mountain. 5 minutes to Sunriver. Walk the 2 acre property and maybe get a glimpse of the herd of elk that roam. We live in the attached main house and rent that out at times as well but you will only ever share a laundry room and both sides lock for complete privacy. You have the 600sq ft suite to yourselves. A comfy couch for reading and a memory foam mattress to sleep on. Enjoy the backyard space and know you may be greeted by our two friendly black labs.

Guest access
You'll have access to your guest suite and the laundry room. The laundry room is shared with the main house but each end locks for privacy. You can enjoy the outdoor space around your unit and also the 2 acre yard. The main house deck area is for main house only.

Other things to note
Absolutely no parties. Only guests allowed on property are the ones in the booking. We do not have a full size oven or stove top. We provide a large toaster oven and a hotplate. Both can easily cook for two.
In winter we plow and shovel as much as we can or are around to do so know there could be ice and it could be slippery. Walk with care and have traction shoes. Also the shovel will be outside your entry for you if needed along with pet safe salt.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Close to Sunriver with access to the Deschutes River and BLM land with ample walking trails. This is a room in our home with a private bathroom. We have a dog and cats that live in the shared spaces, but your room will be animal-free (though the cats would love to cuddle if you're up for that!).

Less than 30 minutes from downtown Bend and 25 minutes to Mt. Bachelor, we also have access to all that Sunriver has to offer.

This is a 4 bed, 3 bath house with an added bonus room in a spacious 2,900 square feet. Complete with parking on the premises and a fenced-in yard. Home shared with 3 cats and a dog.

We prefer no children just because of our dog, but will make exceptions as needed.
