- "Everything was really great. Location is absolutely perfect, with so much to do within walking distance. The best NY pizza west of New York is 5 minutes away by foot. 5 good restaurants within walking distance. Beach is also walking distance or you can park using the hosts Annual Pass at no charge. Host provides umbrella and beach chairs, towels etc. Driveway parking at the property. Only thing I would have preferred is the chase lounger and fire pit to be on the ocean side of the Casita. They are behind it but not a deal killer. We will be back for sure!"

The only interaction you may encounter is when they cross the lawn to empty trash or get beach gear. All their living and outdoor space faces 9th Street.

The Del Mar Horse Races are hosted on the Del Mar racetrack every summer. About a block away are the bluffs. Downtown shopping, including eating and coffee, and the beach is less than a mile away. I do recommend a car for the area. Though not required, you will need to do a significant bit of walking for groceries.

Live like a local. This is one of the nicest studios around for long term stays, and less than 3/4 mile to the beach, two blocks from lagoon, and steps from State Park and restaurants!
Beautiful, spacious, comfortable 510 s.f. studio, with well-equipped kitchenette, closet, and spacious bathroom. It also has a private 500 s.f. patio area with seating and outdoor shower with garden views. Property is walking distance to beach, the Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, great restaurants, and a small convenience store. - "This property is tucked behind a hill on the East side of I-5 at the junction w hwy 56, with a nice open view (no neighbors except the unit next door) which makes it quiet and private. Easy access to 5 so only a couple miles to the Del Mar dog beach and the rest of N San Diego. The house is cute and comfortable with lots of space when you include the outside office. The fenced fake grass yard was perfect for the dog in the mornings. I was here for Thanksgiving week working remotely. The wifi was strong. The temps were quite chilly and there isn't central heat in the house (there is an AC unit in the living room). The host responded immediately with the location of the portable heaters which worked perfectly. I would definitely stay here again if I were to come back to the San Diego area."

DURATION
Check-in is 4:00PM or later unless other arrangements have been approved by the host.

Access instructions will be sent through the booking platform the morning of your stay only after the guest agreement has been signed.

Check-out is at 11:00AM unless previously discussed. Guests shall vacate the unit at the end of its rental period.

If the housekeepers arrive on time at 11:00 AM and the unit is not vacated, guests will be charged $100 every fifteen minutes past 11:00 AM (pass through) for their delay. Guests who overstay their reservation prevent us from offering reservations with same day transitions and creates operational challenges for our housekeeping staff and for guests arriving the same day. We are equally committed to making sure the house is ready for your arrival as well.

Guests who wish to make a reservation must have a completed profile on the booking platform, including an email, phone number, and a clear photograph of your face (so we know the person booking is in fact the person checking in).

NOISE
This home is located in a quiet neighborhood. Our NoiseAware system monitors decibel levels and occupancy to help us maintain a respectful atmosphere. If excessive noise is detected, our software will automatically reach out to remind you of our quiet hours and rules related to noise levels. This technology respects your privacy and only monitors noise levels, not personal conversations or information. We have a zero-tolerance policy for noise complaints, parties or gatherings of any sort. Please respect our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum. Quiet hours are daily from 10:00PM-8:00AM, but noise must be respectable regardless of the time of day.

PETS
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets at the property. Guests who bring unauthorized pets onto the property will be responsible for a fine of $250 per pet, and any additional cleaning charges based on the cleanliness of the home at time of check-out. Please note that even if there’s a no-pets policy, there may have been service animals in the past. We cannot guarantee that the property is completely free of pet allergens.

DAMAGE
Guests are required to report all damage that occurred during their stay to the host via the booking platform, prior to check-out. We understand accidents happen, but guests will be financially responsible for any damage that occurs during their reservation that is not covered by the damage waiver.

Please do not remove any furnishings, equipment, or items from the unit, including any linen, dishes, or any other items from the unit. Guests will be liable for any additional costs, charges or expenses resulting from any damage, lost or stolen items, or excessive check-out cleaning.

SMOKING
Our property is 100% smoke free; including both private and communal areas, the unit itself, and any other public areas within the building and the communal property regardless of whether inside or out. You must be totally off of the premises and on public property to smoke. If you're a regular smoker and feel you'll have a hard time following this rule we kindly suggest you look into another property.

Evidence of smoking will result in a fine up to $2,000 for smoke remediation.

ILLEGAL ACTIVITY
No illegal activity or illicit substances are permitted on the premises: doing either will result in immediate eviction from the property, and may also result in law enforcement involvement.
