Set in the Pacific Northwest, 3 miles north of the historic town of Trinidad, California, Scotty Cabin is the perfect place to spend a few days or a couple of weeks exploring. In the mornings enjoy a warm cup of coffee or tea as you walk out the door onto the sundeck overlooking the expansive private meadow before you finish breakfast and head off to explore for the day. And equally enjoyable when you return for a picturesque sunset dinner . The cabin is set up for three guests with a comfortable queen bed in the primary bedroom and an ultra thick twin size bed in the second bedroom. The full kitchen is well stocked with the majority of the cooking supplies and utensils you'll need to make quick meals on the go for your daily picnics or put together a leisurely dinner on the gas stove and oven. The full bathroom with shower and tub is designed to be compact but comfortable and well equipped. The front loading washer and dryer are well taken care of and located in the bathroom. All the BBQ utensils you'll need to enjoy the Gas Weber Grill are also provided. Hot and Cold sink near the BBQ for your convenience.

During your visit, please be sure and walk across the scenic meadow to take in the view of Scotty Point and the Pacific Ocean from the viewing terrace - a lovely place to have happy hour while watching the sunset in to the ocean. There is a deck box on the entry deck that has a few beach/lawn chairs and some toys for the kids for those beach trips or just to kick a ball about the meadow.

You can do some of these hikes by just walking out your door - especially the Dry Lagoon to Stone Lagoon one. - "Wow. This place was amazing. We loved our stay here. Our family of 4 stayed here as our home base while visiting the Redwood National and State Parks. It is secluded and surrounded by nature. It has most everything you could need or want and the hosts were so very kind and welcoming. They also have a binder filled with excellent information for you to view upon arrival . The exterior of the home is a little more faded than the photos, but the inside is exactly as pictured. We enjoyed viewing the wildlife in the area. We saw banana slugs, Roosevelt Elk in a nearby meadow, and a small female black bear in the back yard! We definitely recommend this place when staying in the area!"
