Welcome to the ultimate Venice experience: a cute beach bungalow, authentic and comfortable. Close to everything in Venice and Santa Monica. Head out for shopping and for the night to famous Abbot Kinney Blvd, just 1 block away. All hotspots of Venice are at walking distance: canals, Main St, Muscle Beach, skate park... Carport included. All surfaces are professionally cleaned and disinfected.

There is only one floor, so it's easy to access. There are a few steps to walk down from the kitchen to the bedroom and a patio in the bedroom.

The unit is 600 square feet and has a combination of hardwood floor and tiles flooring. It has one bedroom with a queen-size bed that sleeps two people comfortably. In the living room, a sofa pulls out to convert to a queen-sized bed which sleeps two people as well. The kitchen separates the living room and the bedroom, there is no separation door.

One bathroom with a shower and a tub, shampoo, shower gel, beach towels and a hairdryer are provided. A fully-equipped kitchen (four burners stove, oven, refrigerator, toaster, coffee pot, kettle, microwave, crockery and cutlery for four people, cooking utensils).

In the bedroom, you will find a yoga mat, an iron, an ironing board and beach gear (bodyboard, beach chairs...).

If you have a car, you can park it in our carport. Otherwise, street parking is easy and free. Just make sure to read the signs for the street cleaning (Monday on one side of the street and Tuesday on the other side, from noon to 2pm).

The check-in procedure is automated so you don't need to worry about late arrivals or having to wait for us at the property. Just let me know your time of arrival and departure prior. There is a security camera on the porch that films movements on the porch.

There is no AC in the bungalow as in most of the buildings in Venice. There is always a nice breeze though, as we are so close to the ocean. We provide two portable fans and there is a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Please, use the fans only in case of heat wave, otherwise open the windows to save electricity. Thanks!

The space

Enjoy your relaxing time in Venice while enjoying your morning coffee on the outdoor patio. This first level duplex is located between Venice Beach and the Venice Canals (1 block in either direction will take you to the beach or the canals). This home is located walking distance to Venice Beach and the ever popular Abbott Kinney Street with restaurants and shops. Take lovely walks on the canals to the beach and enjoy the sunset (beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach towels provided), Muscle Beach, or even play a game of paddle tennis at Venice Beach (paddles and balls provided).

The house has a Ring video surveillance camera located outside the perimeter of the property and front door and front and rear gates for security that are motion detected and record video and sound and will be active for the duration of your stay.

Guest access

As a guest of our home, you will have full access to the first floor of the duplex with a private entry using a keypad. This portion of our house has:
• two bedrooms and one bath. The first bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has a queen-size murphy bed
• a living room with a couch with electronic reclining seats;
• smart tv's located in the living room and both bedrooms;
• a kitchen with new appliances (oven, dishwasher, microwave), a coffee maker, microwave, blender, toaster, waffle maker. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils;
• a dining area in the kitchen as well as an outdoor patio area;
• a washer and dryer located in the garage that you enter from outside.
• a bathroom has a shower/bathtub and also has a shampoo/conditioner/bath gel dispenser in the shower;
• air conditioning that can be used during the months of June - September when the weather reaches 75 degrees or other months when there is an extreme heat wave;
• ceiling fans in each of the rooms;
• one designated parking space in the rear of the house in the driveway (please note that on Monday nights/Tuesday morning you may park your car in the garage due to street cleaning on Tuesday morning; and
• beach chairs, beach towels, and paddle tennis paddles for you to enjoy.

Interaction with guests

My husband and I live in the upper level of the duplex and am happy to help with anything you need. I will also respect your privacy if you don t need me for anything. We will make every effort to walk quietly upstairs when we have guests downstairs.

Friendly, artsy and beachy, one of our best treasures, this is a great walking area for most things. Most people rarely use their car if they have one, and ride share is also very easy from here. There are several bike rental places on Washington St 2 blocks away if you want to grab a cruiser or e-bike and head up to Santa Monica, the boardwalk or just enjoy the 22 miles of beach path right outside the door!
If you have a car, there is 1 parking spot in the driveway here (it’s tight though so if you have a large vehicle it is easier on the street). There is ample free street parking just outside the door on Pacific St, no permit required and you can leave your car as long as you like.

This beautiful back house is accessed through the alley. This alley is well lit, and very safe; everybody who lives in the parallel street enters their homes through this alley. You can drive up to the back entrance to unload your suitcases (smart locks all the way from garden entrance to your temporary home). There is free street parking in surrounding streets. Whimsical 2nd bedroom is currently occupied by my friend Miguel, who’s rarely home. It contains a fanciful art tree, faux cloudy walls and a nearly new, super comfortable, full mattress.

The shared bathroom contains a colorful Mexican sink, hanging Moroccan lamps, and arched windows. The huge step-in tub/shower has great water pressure and is big enough for two...

Our cozy living room, with its raw wood vaulted ceiling and textured walls, contains a well used upright piano, turntable with tons of vintage albums, and collectibles from around the world. Lots of books, games, and a 50 inch flat screen TV with DVD player, Roku, and high speed WiFi will keep kids of all ages busy.

A ring light is available for self tapes if needed.

Large, fully stocked open kitchen with bamboo floor, wood paneled walls, and cozy dining nook invites our guests to have the option of eating at home. Feel free to use our vintage O'Keefe and Merritt stove (works great!), French press coffee maker and grinder, juicer, blender, iron skillets, etc..

Expansive roof deck contains several lounge areas including a full size futon and pillows for star gazing, a Tiki Bar, and best of all; steaming jacuzzi.
Guests also have full use of our front yard (with fire pit), and backyard with unique and comfortable seating areas.
Our outdoor furniture is weathered but comfortable.

Cook al fresco meals with our large gas grill (patio) or charcoal grill (roof deck) and dine at our backyard table.

An elliptical machine is in our backyard for at home work outs.

A detached, studio space sits across the back yard, whose occupant shares the backyard and roof deck.
Frisbees, funky bikes and a vintage tricycle are available.

Pixie, our indoor/outdoor cat, lives on the property. She'll stay scarce, but if you're patient she'll permit you to pet her and then love you forever....

There are staples in the kitchen, plenty of towels and linens- everything you need to live like a local.

The space
Hi folks, my name is Joachim Ponsa. I'm 48, and I have lived in this country for about 20 years. I have 2 daughters, 16 and20, who stay with me every other weekend. I've had roommates before, and thought to try out Airbnb. It helps me out with the rent and I get to meet new people from all over the world.

If you're traveling with a car, please keep in mind not to park next to a red marked curb otherwise your vehicle will be towed by the city as it has happened already once before to a guest.

This guest house provides a private space that is fully enclosed just 8 blocks from Venice beach. Enjoy a full kitchen and spacious bathroom. It has a queen bed and fold out bed that is queen sized in the couch. It offers nice light and ocean breezes while you eat or work. Linens and soup are provided.

Artist loft is located just off trendy Abbot Kinney, 2 block from Venice Beach, and 3 blocks from Main Street. This is the heart of Venice Living. World class restaurants, Gjusta, Gjelina, Plant Food+Wine, Tasting Kitchen, and Cafe Gratitude are within walking distance. Galleries and the beach right in your backyard.

The space
The loft has a comfy bed and soft sheets. If you don't want to go to the awesome breakfast places in the hood, there is a small well-equipped kitchen. The modern vintage décor includes hardwood floors and clean simple styling. The loft has a bedroom, sitting area, and a work desk.

This loft is located above and looks down onto my work space, so all your questions and concerns can be answered by a real person. It has a separate entrance with a steep staircase to the private loft. I have an amazing library of local architecture books for touring around. Bikes, skateboard and surfboards are also available, no fee.

The kitchen and bath are shared with me. The shower and toilet rooms are small, circa vintage bathrooms.

Parking isn't bad but plan on parking once, and just staying in the hood. This loft is in an urban neighborhood, expect to see lots of people walking around and hear street noises. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is not the place for you. Everything is within walking/biking distance. There are lots of local buses, and Birds nearby for easy access to Santa Monica Pier, the Promenade and Marina Del Rey.

Wi-Fi provided. Free bikes and boogie boards provided. No laundry on site but it can be provided for a small fee.

Other things to note
The First Friday of every month is a busy time on Abbot Kinney. Lots of food trucks and music in the neighborhood.

Welcome to the Modern Venice House! This cozy private space is in an extremely quiet location in Venice with updated decor in 2024.

It includes everything provided by a hotel room, including kitchenette, bathroom, heat/ac, bedroom/living room and polished concrete floors are all new and ready to be enjoyed.

The recent ADU conversion includes high-end opaque glass doors that let in lots of light but provide privacy. You will be steps away from the best sights in Venice and Santa Monica.

The space
You will love this space because of its location and very quiet neighborhood. Abbot Kinney Blvd is less than 1 mile away, the Venice canals are about 1 mile away and the beach is 1.3. It's also very, very quiet (no street noise and private). The unit is designed to be like a hotel room. It will provide a basic place to sleep/work/eat but minimal outdoor space. The space shares no walls with other occupied space so it is very private.

Guest access
Guests have exclusive use of the Airbnb. Access is via self check in and details will be sent to you 24 hours prior to your check in.

You will have access to the private whole unit with bathroom, shower, kitchen sink, microwave and fridge/freezer. The apartment also has a 32” tv with Apple TV.

There is a small courtyard outside the Airbnb for guests to use with outdoor furniture and several nice parks within walking distance nearby.

Other things to note
This unit is designed to be like a hotel room. It will provide a nice, clean place to sleep or work but is not great for inviting guests over or hanging out outside. If you are looking for a full large house or need outdoor space it's best to select a different listing.

A modern Spanish style house (1550sf) located on one of the loveliest streets in Venice Beach with bikes, surfboards and ping pong table available for guests. It is a 2 min walk to the amazing cafe/restaurant Superba Food & Bread. The house is 8 min walking distance to trendy Abbott Kinney ave, 5 minutes biking distance to the beach and 2 minutes biking to public tennis courts and golf. The room can be accessed as well from outside through its own private entrance for your convenience.

The space
Eclectic , artistic decoration. The house lay out opens on many different outdoor terraces. The design is based on the typical Greek house lifestyle, indoor and outdoor are combined .

Guest access
Access to entire house: kitchen, dining and living room and front/side yard. You will have at your disposition a ping pong table, a backgammon, bicycles and upon special request even my surfboards.

During your stay
I'll be working and usually out and about most of the day but I'll always be available to help you with your stay and travel plans in the city.

Please feel free to make coffee in the morning in the kitchen , coffee is provided and there is always plenty of space in the fridge and pantry to store what ever you want.

The studio apartment has a private entrance, so there's no one to bother you, and no need to be let in. The place is all yours!

You have access to a separate washer and dryer (not in the unit but on property) at any time of day.

There is ample street parking available. No permit required.

The Marias family has been in Los Angeles forever!! So any questions about things to do, how to get places, restaurant recommendations, please do not hesitate to ask us.

Marty (the owner, pictured with his daughter, Lauren, and grandson) lives in the house adjacent to the studio apartment. He's right next door if you need anything and is the handiest person around. (He built props and special effects for commercials decades and can fix or build just about anything. Fun fact: Other than the dog, Marty is the only person to work on all of the Budweiser Spuds Mackenzie commercials in the 1980s.)

And his daughter and son-in-law, Lauren and Adam, who help manage the property also live nearby and are available for any questions you might have about Santa Monica, Venice, and beyond.

We try our best to let you enjoy your stay without any interference, but if you need need anything we love the neighborhood and can make all kinds of recommendations, from where to eat to what to see.

The apartment is right on the border of Venice and Santa Monica, 2 blocks north of Rose Avenue. A few minutes' walk toward the ocean are many great restaurants, coffee shops, a Saturday farmers market, and clothing stores.

The Metro Expo Line is up and running! The nearest station is near the Santa Monica Pier at Colorado and 4th Street. Its an easy 10 minute Uber ride up 4th street or about a 30/35 minute walk depending on your pace. The Metro can take you all the way downtown for an entirely different view of LA. With Walt Disney Concert Hall, Staples Center, the Broad Museum and more, you would not run out of things to do and places to see downtown.

Between the Metro, Uber and other cab options, all that is walkable and the number of locations to rent bicycles in the area, I don't think renting a car is necessary, but a lot of people still like to have the flexibility of having a car depending on what your plans are while you are in town.
