This was our beloved, happy home while studying at UCLA. It's fully furnished, newly upgraded, beautiful and bright, perfect as a home away from home for individuals, couples, and small families.

Built in 1931. The Apt complex is a Historical Landmark, like the Fox and Bruin theaters , a block away. Charming, with hardwood flooring. A balcony in front with village views, and large balcony in the back for sunning, and entertaining. Literally steps away from “ In and Out “ burger, “Whole Foods” “ Target”, “ Barney’s Beanery”, “Ralph’s , “ Starbucks “, “ Trader Joe’s “ California Pizza Kitchen “, “Fox and Bruin” Movie theaters, “ Roccos Italian restaurant and bar. Any many other restaurants with delectable cuisine, for any palalte. Many clothing shops like “ Brandy and Melville as well. 15 minutes to the beach 🏖. 15 minutes to Hollywood!!!

- "Good." - "This is a dishonest and fake add! The appartement wasn’t like described on the add: there were not 2 bedrooms as the add stated but one bedroom. Then, there no parking when the add says there was one, there was no dishwasher either and the add stated there was one. The « air conditioning «  was not central AC buta loud wall unit attached to open windows so it was extremely hard to sleep when the stand up AC was working, it was next to the living room bedroom’s bed so next to the pillow cases and it was too hot not to put it on. Catch 22! Also the wall unit was fixed in both open windows so you could hear all the noises from outside: cars parking in the middle of the night, people talking late at night or partying, leaf blowers, gardeners. There is no privacy because the appartement is facing another living room window so you have to close the blinds and then it is too dark . The owner : I told him about the issues and he gave me no help besides letting me have paper plates! He didn’t care at all ! Then he ignored me the whole time, he never replied To my voice messages, or the Home Away messages so I left the appartement ASAP even if I had rented it for one month. Not having the owner taking care of the issues , we didn’t feel safe anymore. Too many issues and the add was false! Later on, the owner reproached me that he gave me a monthly discount, which doesn't Show on the traveler’s account but how bad faith is it to reproach me the monthly discount, he did apply a discount for long terms as many owners do. I rent my appartement on Airbnb and I never reproach it to anyone, it is my choice and travelers choose then according to their budget. I had to find a new location on last minutes, asking friends to host us, renting in hotels and here and there but the owner decided to ignore the issues he created by lying in the add! Worst experience ever. He didn’t try to accommodate us regarding the issues. He ignored us for the whole time! He was not feeling responsable and we couldn’t get hold of him, Homeaway tried and left him messages as well. How selfish and irresponsible ! Who knows whose appartement it is really. We didn't Feel safe at all since the owner stop communicating, it was too risky to stay in a place that looks like fraudulous business. I have called Homeaway many times to fix the issue. It was a nightmare! We were frustrated and felt hopeless. Would definitely avoid this fake place."

- "888 Hilgard Ave is an excellent location if you are associated with UCLA and plan to work or study there. However, it is relatively expensive and so we were expecting slightly more luxury. Try to avoid apartments facing Hilgard Ave (e.g., 105) because it is very noisy. We were then moved to a quiet apartment (417) facing the interior and it completely changed our perception. Both Nedra and Mauricio provided excellent services and attended to our needs promptly."
