Your own very large pool and garden setting filled with wonderful flowering plants and coconut palms make this area your own little oasis to read, swim or sunbathe.

The kitchen is a chef’s dream as it is extremely spacious with endless counters and an island for prepping. Gas stove and stainless steel appliances and all the gadgets, dishes and cutlery makes this a dream kitchen. No one will be under foot here. We do have a wonderful dedicated chef for hire that can cook breakfast, lunch or dinner as well as drop off prepared food for you so you can stay out of the kitchen if you so choose.

Harrington Sound is a wonderful inland lake in Bermuda surrounded mainly by Hamilton parish and Smiths parish. There is a small narrow inlet that connects this lake to Atlantic ocean, known as the Flatts inlet.

The water in this lake mostly flows in through the underwater caves and subterranean passages. The sound has been named after Lucy Harrington, a lady from the Elizabethan days who did a lot for the Parish.

Harrington sound has many small islands in it like the Trunk island and Rabbit Island. Some of them are inhabited through out the year.

The water area is excellent for activities like swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, windsurfing etc. Although there are many types of fish that you can find here, over the years the population of shell fish like the scallops have been steadily decreasing.

We have two levels of lawn leading down to the ocean with swimming and snorkelling including a beautiful cluster of coral reefs a few yards from our lawn. The underwater photos were all taken on that cluster of reefs.

The apartment is close to the beautiful John Smiths Bay beach - a 5 minute walk away. The pool is on the property and around the back from the apartment. The apartment has a queen bed and its own bathroom + shower. It is next to our house in a spacious yard in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The bus stop is a 3 minute walk and a grocery store is a 12 minute walk away. We have a Labrador that roams the property.

We also have another rental unit on the property, which is great if you want to travel with another couple/ friends. It is VRBO 719665.

You will have the studio apartment all to yourselves during your stay. You are also welcome to enjoy the pool which is just through the gate! This property is not suitable for children under 12. There is plenty of parking should you decide to rent a 50cc scooter or an EV. We also have a 110v and 220v charging station on the property for your convenience.

The kitchen area includes a small fridge, a coffee maker (uses K-cups), electric kettle, microwave and a toaster oven. There is also an electric oven in the unit and a gas grill that is available for your use. We have towels, beach towels, hair dryer and shampoo all here for your use. Bermuda's largest nature reserve, Spittal Pond is a 10 minute walk from our property. It is a great, diverse walk. There are 2 very good restaurants in Flatts Village about a mile away, Rustico and the Village Pantry. Flatts is also home to the Bermuda Aquarium. Collectors Hill area is about a mile away and has a few restaurants, a pharmacy, grocery store and a gas station. Hamilton and St. Georges are each about a 15 minute taxi or bike ride away and offer many restaurants and shopping.

The property is located very close to the City of Hamilton (10 minute walk) with one of the best island restaurants, Ascots, on the adjoining property. At the end of the street is Pitts Bay Road with a major hotel, restaurants and bars that lead to Front Street (we would be happy to provide dinning suggestions). If you are planning to use public transportation the bus and ferry terminals are all within the City of Hamilton, a short walk. The property itself is very quiet with some private areas and a nice common pool area to relax and enjoy. We think our furnishings and small touches like the availability to use your apple account on the apple tv or the ability to sip on a Nespresso on the private patio are the small details that will make your stay even better.

West End: Interesting places to see in the vicinity would include Dockyard. The extraordinary installation features a collection of spectacular buildings erected for navy re-provisioning in the very early 1800?s. The Maritime Museum out at Dockyard on Ireland Island has fascinating displays of items from Bermuda’s extraordinarily colorful past, fully restored. The Commissioners House is an iron structure with the most commanding view of the island to be seen anywhere- from end to end. Other handsome buildings now house art galleries, museums, cafes, artist’s workshops, theatres and pubs as well as a major ferry stop that will whisk you into Hamilton and on to St. Georges. Heading east by road towards Hamilton, you will be charmed with the town of Somerset- it has a post office and pharmacy, nice places to dine and little shops where you can re-provision while admiring the views and the mangrove-edged beach. Ely’s Harbour at Somerset Bridge has a small marina where you can rent boats and explore.

Railway trail / Restaurants: The Railway Trail is nearby as well, and offers a peek into Old Bermuda, as the trail wends away from the main road and past some fascinating old homes and farms with jaw dropping views. The grand beaches at Horseshoe, Warwick Long Bay and Elbow are a short bus or moped ride away and some are serviced public beaches with cafes, beach chair and umbrella rentals available. The Watford Bridge terminal is half a mile walk away. The local Supermarket is close by as well and spirits are sold until 9pm, and groceries can be purchased there until midnight or at the 24 hour store just 2 min walk. Casual dining can be enjoyed at the “Frog and Onion Pub” Bonefish Grill, Amicci's 10 minutes away at Dockyard or next door at the resort at Breezes on the outdoor beach restaurant. There are several take out options in walking distance right here in the village, and or you can get delivery service

Boat rentals: There is a boat rental a minute walk down the street at the dock in Mangrove Bay. Lasers, kayaks, Boston Whalers and all the snorkel gear you’ll need for rent is available there.They have experienced staff ready to advise you on the best cruising itinerary for the water sports adventure of your choice, with great fishing spots, waterside restaurants, ship wreck snorkeling, island picnicing and all kinds of water toys and more

We recommend Oleander Cycles as they have a kiosk next door at the Cambridge Beach Resort and Spa.

The house has two plugs to fast charge the electric rental cars, and I'll provide more info on transport and rentals once you've booked.

Beach House is located on the South Shore in Warwick Parish. It has its own shared private beach as well as two public beach parks which abut the property on either side, Southlands and Astwood Cove. Each day when the tide is low you can walk all along the coast from Marley to Azura on the East then back to Astwood Cove on the West, it’s a gorgeous walk. The Railway Trail is a 5 minute walk from the property .

Other beaches such as Elbow and the famous Horseshoe are a mile or so from here, Horseshoe being a twenty minute slow jog from here 😀

LITT Restaurant is just a five minute’s walk and the bus stop is just outside our front gate.
The beach at Marley is just a stones throw away, approximately sixty seconds down our front garden path.

Beach House was built over 100 years ago from Bermuda stone in the late 1800s and was one of two original buildings on the property now known as Marley Beach. It has changed over the years and upgraded again recently offering comfortable living in classic Bermuda style.

Three comfortable bedrooms and large living/dining room have Bermuda cedar beams, wood floors, ceiling fans and air conditioning. The den/TV room is a cosy cedar paneled room just adjacent to the main entrance and living room.

The fully equipped country style kitchen with island and eat at table looks out onto the private back patio where you can enjoy breakfast before the sun comes up ! It is fully equipped with major appliances including a microwave and dishwasher.

Conveniently Beach House is located directly on the South Shore bus route where there is a stop directly at the gate to Marley Beach.

Harrington Sound is a wonderful inlet of ocean water in Bermuda surrounded mainly by Hamilton parish and Smiths parish. There is a small narrow inlet that connects this to the Atlantic ocean, known as the Flatts inlet.

The water in this lake mostly flows in through the underwater caves and subterranean passages. The sound has been named after Lucy Harrington, a lady from the Elizabethan days who did a lot for the Parish.

Harrington sound has many small islands in it like the Trunk island and Rabbit Island. Some of them are inhabited through out the year.

The water area is excellent for activities like swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, windsurfing etc. Although there are many types of fish that you can find here, over the years the population of shell fish like the scallops have been steadily decreasing.

The Large 2 bedroom apartment makes you feel at home, away from home. The Kitchenette features refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, pots pan and utensils. Daily cleaning and linen service can be available at a price.

There is an ample supply of towels for both the beach, pool and bath.

Internet service is provided FREE so that you can stay in touch with others, or your office. Flat Screen Television and Telephone.

The property known as 'Neston' is in walking distance to the Beach, or catching the Bus. It is about 5 min away from two of Bermudas' BEST attractions, the Aquarium and Zoo and the Crystal Cave.

If you desire a mixture of relaxation and quietness than 'Neston' is for you.

The apartment was clean and the descriptions/photos provided in the listing were accurate.The Host: The host, Wayne, was kind and very attentive. He checked in on us periodically and was very prompt in answering our questions.The Property: The neighborhood is quiet and we felt very safe. It is conveniently located - just a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport and a 15-minute walk to The Marketplace grocery store and two nearby bus stops. There is a beautiful pool, but we did not use it during our March stay. As others have mentioned, the host has dogs on the property, but we generally saw them during the day. They did not negatively impact our sleep or enjoyment of the property. The Apartment: There were just two of us, and we enjoyed the spaciousness of the two-bedroom apartment. There are three mini-splits for heating/cooling, one in each bedroom and one in the living room, and they worked well in keeping the apartment comfortable. The kitchen is small, but it was fine for grabbing a light breakfast or evening snack. Preparing a full meal might be challenging. Neither of the bathrooms is ensuite, and their locations are a bit awkward. Not a problem for two people or perhaps parents and children, but not an ideal situation for privacy for 4 adults. Also be aware that there are a couple steps to navigate to access the bedrooms.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would consider renting this apartment again in the future."

Established and stately, the property is filled with lush ornamental gardens and centrally-located in one of Bermuda's most sought-after parishes. Next door sits the 35-acre Botanical Gardens, also home to Homer's Café and Masterworks Museum. Camden House, home of the Premier since 1770, has public tours throughout the week and located in the gardens.

The upscale neighborhood is close to the capital city of Hamilton, which is bursting with old world charm and a taste of a bygone era. There, you'll find restaurants, shopping and cultural sites to explore, including a beautiful cathedral, large park and historic post office. Elbow Beach, one of the best pink sand beaches the island is famous for, is only a 5-minute drive away.

Opposite the Unfinished Church you will find the lovely Stowe Cottage. The cottage is within close walking distance to the Town Square, historic buildings and sites, like Somers Gardens. Tobacco Bay is a short stroll away as well. It is also close to St. George's restaurants and public transportation. St. George's is proud to boast that it has the UNESCO World Heritage designation.

Guests will have access to the kitchen, but must clean up after they have finished cooking. They can relax either in the living room or outside on the back patio. There is also a private back yard and guests can barbecue if they wish.

As you sip your morning coffee, you may see cruise ships arriving or fishermen heading out to sea. Explore the local beaches and nature reserve. The historical town of St. George's, a UNESCO World Heritage Site is a short distance away. Airport is 10-12 min. Public transport is a 5-7 minute walk from the house.

During your stay
I am a teacher in St. George's and will be able to steer you in the direction of all the wonderful places to see and enjoy in Bermuda. If I am at school when you arrive, you can easily get a taxi from the airport. Tell the driver the address and that it is in St. David's. There are detailed directions below (under Directions).

Our recently renovated apartment is located in a quiet, well established neighborhood in Smith's Parish. Nearby is Flatts Village and the inlet to Harrington Sound. A calm water beach - excellent of swimming and diving - is a 500 yard walk from the apartment.
The City of Hamilton is a 15 minute ride away. Two good bus services run from the ends of Jennings Road.

The space
The apartment is in a well maintained garden setting at the rear of the house which contains a large avacado tree and banana patch.

You’ll love our place because of the coziness. It’s a non-smoking studio unit that is suited for two persons or solo travelers. It is about a 6 minute walk to the bus stop and located about 10 minutes by bus from the UNESCO World Heritage Site, a grocery store and restaurants in St. George's town! We are less than 15 minutes by vehicle to beaches in St. George's! It's a 5 minute walk to (BIOS) Bermuda Institute for Ocean Sciences.
We are about a 45 minute bus ride to Hamilton. Sofa is a bed

The space
Guests will have full use of the entire unit during their stay. It has its own separate entrance and is attached to the main house. There is also an area for bike parking for those brave enough to ride scooters or pedal bikes! There is even space to park the electric rental cars!

There is a large front lawn and guests are free to sit out and enjoy the Bermuda sunshine during the day, capture the evening sunset or relax under the stars at night!

Nestled just off Turkey Hill, St. George’s, in the UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will find THE WINDSOR.

The Windsor is a quaint and cozy vacation rental unit that is within walking distance to the town center, grocery store, restaurants and shops. It is a short walk to public transportation and beaches.

The Windsor, which has been tastefully furnished, is non-smoking, comfortable and cozy and can sleep up to 3 persons. This Airbnb is part of Richard Allen AME Church. Be you and enjoy!

The bedroom is short flight of stairs above the dining/living room. You will also find the intimate bathroom with a standing shower.

There is a large yard outside of the unit that guests can use for sitting under an umbrella and picnic table. There is ample space to park in front of the unit, if the guest rents a motorbike or a small twizzy car.

Beach towels, recycle shopping bags, cleaning items will all be at your finger tips when you vacation at The Windsor. In the event that guests experience Bermuda's liquid sunshine, we provide an umbrella and one size fits most rain coats. This airbnb is owned by Richard Allen AME Church and I host on their behalf. Hibiscus Suite is located on Chapel of Ease Road, an old St. David's Bermuda neighbourhood on which its namesake, Chapel of Ease Church, is located.
Guests can take a easy stroll to the public Church Wharf, next to which is an old turtle pond used in the "old days" for keeping caught fish and turtles.

Enjoy a beautiful front yard with Bermuda fruit trees, loquats, bananas, avocados, guava and peach.
Access on request to back-to-nature shack on the hillside with views of Castle Harbour.

If you are traveling with another couple or have a large family, "Hibiscus Suite" is adjacent to our "Hibiscus Cottage" apartment (also listed on Airbnb) which sleeps two.

This Cozy studio is located directly across from one of Bermudas most family friendly beaches. There is a large field with a walking track and an outdoor basketball court across the street, and bus stops are easily accessible.
Eve's pond nature reserve is a two-minute walk away and you can get there along scenic walking trails.
A mile away is Flatts Village which is home to restaurants, and the Bermuda Aquarium and Zoo. A mile in the opposite direction are restaurants and a large supermarket.
