Registration: This space is at the ground floor where we receive you and register you for check-in. The space is shared with Studio Dot an architectural design studio run by us.

Kitchen: Our kitchen is vegetarian to respect our neighbours’ comfort and we expect you also to value our neighbours’ comfort. The kitchen is equipped with induction cooktop, cookware, refrigerator, RO filter for drinking water. Upon prior request we can help arrange for packaged/pre-processed food items so the kitchen is stocked as per your taste (this service will be chargeable as per actual and will be subject to availability.)

Utility space: The utility space has an ironing table for which iron will be provided on request and a space to hand wash clothes.

Living room: The living room is furnished to relax and enjoy a hearty conversation with friends and family. There a dining table in the living room that can accommodate up to 6 people.

Access the house via the entry verandah, into the original hitchka (swing) room and lounge. The lounge opens on to the inner courtyard from where you access your room. In the centre of the courtyard is the open pantry where breakfast is served. You can prepare your own drinks and snacks here too.

One of currently 4 ensuite guest rooms (the homestay is expanding) set with restored furniture and beautiful Kutchi fabrics. An original bedroom with twin beds that can be joined to make a comfortable double, and space for an extra bed if required. The ensuite bathroom includes a separate area for luggage and clothes storage. The room opens on to the inner leafy courtyard.

The space
A 130+ year old traditional Parsi 'courtyard' home in the heart of Bhuj, run by the Bhujwala family. There are currently four guest rooms (with more rooms being added), set around the inner courtyard— a peaceful retreat from the town's bustling environment. Breakfast (and dinner on request) is served in an open-sided pantry located in the middle of the leafy courtyard. The house is located close to the Bhujia Fort, and is well located for exploring textile and craft villages, wildlife areas, historical sites and the vast salt pans of Kutch.

Guest access
Our guests have their own entrance to the house via the hitchka or swing room which is a great place to relax with the newspaper! There's a common lounge where books and local info are kept, and access to a computer and wifi.

The fully equipped kitchen and living room are shared spaces, where guests can come together and connect.

Our curated meals are a highlight—whether it’s a local delicacy or your favorite dish, we promise to make it better than most in the world. Our kitchen is a Vegetarian Kitchen. We do offer Jain meals and breakfast, if requested. The food that is prepared is always fresh. You will be asked a day prior for your meal preference.

Our kitchen area is equipped with all cooking utensils and crockery. it has a Fridge, a cooker and a sink so that you can cook yourself anything from a light meal to something a little more adventurous.

At the living space, we also offer an Ironing Table and an Iron on request.

If you are staying longer, you will be able to get your clothes laundry at local prices.

Enough care is taken if you are allergic to any particular ingredient. If requested, meals can also be prepared out of organic food. Our caretakers and chef will give you the best service possible.

( all bedrooms) if it does get a bit hot in the afternoon.

There is a restaurant and a cafe within the premises. •Most restaurants deliver food through apps like Swiggy and Zomato during lunch and dinner hours.
•Located 10 minutes from the city of Bhuj, it is a world within a world.
•The best time to visit Kutch is from September to mid-March.
•The famous Rannutsav ( White Desert
Festival) begins in October and ends in March.
