We were able to walk right next door to the best supermarket in island every night with my family and then on Wednesday night drive only a mile down the street to the famous Chamorro village night market. The bank of hawaii is also right down the street and made it easy to do our banking. The kids enjoyed the movie theater abs restaurants at the Agana shopping center which is less than a mile away. The best thing about this unit is that they have a property manager chris who is on site that is quick to answer our questions and help us when we need him. We stayed here for 3 weeks and the unit was perfect for us. The beds were comfortable and the wifi tv and fully equipped kitchen was also perfect. - "Our first experience with Vrbo. The exterior of property is nothing like the interior so don’t be put off on first impression. Pictures are accurate in property interior details. Looks recently renovated. Very roomy with A/C in each room. Any complaints I have are with Very Reluctant Boarding Option no-refund policy for any act of god issue that prevents one from using the facility. If forced to use Vrbo again will only book one night then extend upon arrival which is a little risky but some insurance is better than none. Property Manager was slow to respond to Vrbo app messages but this was post Super Typhoon Mawar. Once I called she responded quickly and we had a short but good stay considering Guam was wrecked by a Super Typhoon."

Welcome to Guam! If you’re visiting from the Philippines for the first time, there are a few important things you should know to make your trip smoother:
1. Taxis Are Very Hard to Find in Guam
Public transportation is limited, and taxis are not readily available. From the airport to my property (located at Gaogao Ct, Dededo, GU 96929), the distance is approximately 5 kilometers, but taxi fares typically start at $20 USD or more.

2. My Property’s Amenities
Please note that there is no kitchen or cooking area provided. However, the unit is equipped with the following:
• An electric kettle (for boiling water)
• A hair dryer
• Air conditioning
• A fan
• Bath towels
All other items must be prepared by the guest.
3. Nearby Attractions and Facilities
My property is within walking distance to Micronesia Mall and Ross. Inside the mall, you’ll find:
• Dining options
• A Payless Supermarket for groceries
• A shuttle bus service for tourists, which can take you to hotels around Tumon Bay
4. Transportation to Other Areas
• Kmart and GPO (Guam Premier Outlets) are not within walking distance and will require a taxi or car.
• Don Donki (a Japanese-style department store) is located near the airport.
5. Highly Recommended: Rent a Car
If you have an international driver’s license, I strongly recommend renting a car. It will give you much more flexibility and convenience during your stay.

The prime location of the villa is within 15 minutes of driving distance from the main points of the airport, beach, duty free shopping malls, hotels and hospitals.The surrounding area is well matched, and there are plenty of commercial facilities within 2 km, including a large supermarket Payless, KFC, McDonald's, cafes and bakeries, etc. to meet all your needs for life and leisure.

This Airbnb stayed safe during Typhoon Mawar last May 25, 2023.
Built under a huge mango tree, with low ceiling (5’5) following the contour of the mango tree, you can enjoy nature among tropical shrubs, flowers, health plants like moringa olifeira, insulin plant, avocado, papaya, soursop. The cherry blossoms wall artwork in the room and the message "Fight Callie Fight" are in honor of the owner's granddaughter Callie, who at 2 months old, survived Covid. We Airbnb donate income to charity.

The space
The space is a tiny room with low ceiling but airy and breezy facing the back garden and the side garden. The wall art painting is an interesting story to hear from the host as well as the sign Fight Callie Fight at the entrance of the hut.

Guest access
This property has two other Airbnb rooms in addition to Callie’s Hut. Each guest room has its own private entrance. Guests have a mini kitchen and dining area as well as toilet and shower shared only with other guests. The hosts live in the same property in the main house and have their facilities not shared with guests.
Guests have access to the back garden where they sometimes just sit and enjoy the breeze or the hut sun.
A public laundrymat with a convenience store “The Village Pantry” is within walking distance.

Other things to note
Callie’s Hut is a small cozy room with low ceiling because it is built under a mango tree. In May-July, guests can pick fruits from our mango, avocado, soursop, and papaya trees.

Private bedroom with kitchen/sitting area and toilet/ shower shared among guests only. There is mini-ref, towels, hair dryer, iron. BBQ/picnic area with canopy and fruit trees. You can pick if fruit is ready. StrollGuam driver on site. 7 mins by car to Micronesia mall, Two Lover's Point, Dededo flea market, and 2 mins to fast foods. Can walk to nearby grocery and laundry.

The space
This suite is 10 minutes to Dededo flea market where the owner can drop you off and pick up for free on Saturdays to enjoy plenty of local food and BBQ. Owner is StrollGuam operator and can be hired with nice discount for longer trips around Guam. The place is gated and fenced and tropical fruit trees all around, like mango, papaya, local lime, makes you enjoy true living in Guam. If you want to enjoy backyard BBQ, owner is happy to set up beautiful canopy with garden chairs for your true vacation in your home away from home in Guam.
