Sorry to make them accompany me throughout my bbq experience (cause they need to ensure they are there if I need them). Weather was awesome but a little too cold hence I din use the swimming pool. Beach was just behind the resort, just a minute walk from the side. The famous Tamatorizaki observatory tower is just about 10 minutes walk away. Best way to reach this resort is via car or taxi. If you are taking bus there, make sure you dont reach there too late, do check buses frequency. In conclusion, Yokabushi is awesome place to relax, if only I reside in Ishigaki, I will go there often. But I am sure to visit again whenever I visit Ishigaki again. Thank you so much for the 3days. The space
5 cats live with us.We pay attention to cleaning, but cats may get on your bed or have hair on your belongings, so please refrain from staying overnight if you have allergies or if you don't like cats.

The cats don't like strong smells.I think you can stay out of perfume, strong odor, body cream, etc., and you can get along with the cats.

A famous tourist destination on Ishigaki Island
It is a 3-minute walk from Kabira Bay.

I moved here in November 2017.
It is a house with a large garden and a traditional Japanese-style room.
We live in this house together.

Our house is an typical traditional Japanese house over 100 years old.
Its beautiful architecture, the touch and scent of tatami mats and wood will make you travel back in time. The house is very quiet and relaxing, surrounded by trees, 100m from the beach in the center of Shiraho village,close to the airport and the city.
You can use the very large kitchen,dining room, tatamis rooms and wood decks.
Guests rooms (5) are on the 2nd floor.
Yoga classes and massages are available on reservation.

The space
The sea turtle (Umigame) room is a cozy little room suitable for one or two people. The slanted ceiling, the beams and tatamis are typical of traditional Japanese house.
From the one small window, you can see the local orange roof house and from the other window, the fukugi trees. The shower and restroom are separate, for more comfort.

You will sleep on futons like in traditional Japan, the futons are in the closet, we will show you how to set them.
Based on the concept of "traveling like living", we avoid providing excessive services and amenities to help environmental protection.
So we won't change the sheets except on request, or clean the room during your stay (cleaning tools are available if needed)
Also, we do not change the towels everyday, we change them on request.
Washing machine, eco-friendly detergent are freely provided.
The room has a toilet and shower, and is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, and electric kettle, so you can have simple meals in your room.

During your stay
We live in a separate building on the same property. During the day we are either in that house or in the ground floor free space or office of the main building, so you can call on us whenever you need us.

Other things to note
Le Lotus Bleu is a very old house over 100 years old.
Sound insulation is lacking, so please be careful not to disturb other guests.
In addition, since the natural wood floor is polished with natural oil, please do not leave it wet with water.

The Shiraho village where our house is located is a quiet traditional village that retains the Yaeyama style. Although it is not as convenient as the city center, there are some local pretty shops, restaurants, and cafes. Shiraho is a village that values ​​the lives of the local residents very much, so please refrain from making noise or walking around the village in swimwear.

Shiraho Beach, which has the largest blue coral colony in the northern hemisphere, can be reached in a minute or two on foot, but this beach is not very suitable for swimming as it is a coral beach and unlike sand beaches. If you're thinking of walking to the beach every day and spending the day lying down, you might be disappointed. Shiraho's snorkel tour, which visits the northern hemisphere's largest blue coral colony and goes by boat, is highly recommended!
