We will definitely come back again." - "It's been a while since we last visited Mission Hills and it was such a nice surprise to find that there are just so many more things to do here now. The place is still beautiful and relaxing and the services remained professional and engaging as before. With a quick ride on the free shuttle bus we got to this new shopping complex, MH Mall. Man, it had everything there. So many dining options, including our favourite, Haidilao hotpot. We walked around the mall and found some interesting places that our kids will definitely enjoy - giant ice rink, bowling, trampoline park, amusement games and even indoor horseback riding. It's crazy. It's just not something you can find in a HK shopping mall. We bought some nice cold drinks and took our friend's recommendation and walked to the nearby ecology park to try out their go-kart. The track was not that big but just as fun and thrilling, even the wife enjoyed it. They also had an indoor skiing slope and ice slides as well as an aquarium, which have all just been opened in the past few years. We can only imagine how tiring we'll get if the kids were here with us. We took a stroll in the greenery that surrounds the entire Mission Hills at dusk. It's just nice to get away from the city and enjoy the sunset and the beauty of nature. It's now so easy to get here from HK with the MTR or high-speed rail. With the young ones being so active most of the time, weekend trips to Mission Hills may just become a regular thing for our household."

- "It’s not your typical hotel experience. Jiangnan House is located in the heart of the Nantou Ancient City, so you experience this contrast of the new and old. The hotel itself is completely open, no indoor corridors, you can see through the whole hotel from top to bottom of each floors. The design is beautiful, it’s very detail oriented and chique. It filled with Taschen books, even in the toilet area. Staff are super helpful and friendly. They even contacted me in advance offering to guide me from the edge of the city wall to the hotel in case I can find it. Do note that no cars or taxi can to the hotel since it’s within the walled city. So you’ll need to walk a little to get there. If you have a lot luggage’s, do let the hotel know. I’m sure they will send help. They even added me on WeChat to make sure I get there safely, and if I have anything I need throughout the day and night, they reply straight away. - "Staff at front desk and room service was wonderful and happy to help. The room was clean and comes with full kitchen and a personal washer/dryer. Airport shuttle was also available. All of this could have been avoided if only the receptionist didn’t mess up. Another thing - we were promised a free transfer from the airport at our arrival. I contacted the hotel and they said I should take a cab and they will refund me the costs. They never did that. They stopped replying in the chat once they realised their mistake. Overall, the room is OK, but neighbourhood is very shady and far from everything. You will spend 30 mins in a cab to get anywhere. AVOID AT ALL COSTS"
