It is perfect for someone to get away from the city or busy life to enjoy the quietness of the small town. It’s about 30 minutes from the city center of Yangshuo. Our reservation includes 1 hour river rafting which was quite scenic and also saved us the trouble of having to get the tickets separately outside. - "The location is spectacular, right amidst the famous limestone hills, but far away from the intense noise on mainstream China. There are bicycles you can ride for free through traditional farming villages. The staff are truly exceptional and conscientious, and the food delicious. The only thing we’d improve is to make the hotel a little more environmentally conscious - replacing the ton of plastic bottles with jugs in each room which could be filled up from a central water dispensary. - "Helpful Friendly . Beautiful sightseeing " - "I had some initial confusion about the address of the hotel. It was not listed on hotels.com and appeared as Lanshan Wangyue Homestay on Google maps. After communicating with staff via WeChat, the address was clarified for our DiDi driver. Despite this, our stay far exceeded expectations. The location sits among beautiful green mountains which you get to view through a wall to wall window from your room. The hotel is privately owned which I think is quite rare in China and has a boutique feel. Owner Mark Ma personally welcomes you and shows you to your room. The details to things like silk robes, choice teas, self flushing bidet, embroidered thick quality white towels made a big impact. My two boys loved asking “xiao du, xiao du” which is the Chinese version of Alexa to open and close the curtains. We watched Skyfall projected on a big screen from our comfy beds. At sunset, the views from the rooftop were amazing. There’s a rooftop pool, props like a moon, infinity mirror and stairway to heaven to get some Instagram worthy photos. The view by itself though was sublime. The hotel is far enough from the road but close enough to downtown to be peaceful and conveniently located. We enjoyed a varied breakfast. I liked the squash, sweet potato and teas. Boys enjoyed the fried meats, noodles and fried rice. I highly recommend this place. Can’t say enough. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. It really felt like a little paradise!"

- "A hotel in the lower part of the city with a sunny terrace facing the rice fields and the owners garden. The environment is very authentic and we enjoyed the stay very much. Nice walking paths to both sides. Remember to bring walking shoes and perhaps restrict the amount of luggage. You have to walk 15 mins from where the taxi drops you off, but the hotel will arrange transportation of your luggage. The walk is not hard at all and you get a view of the area. Best to arrive in the daytime as no streetlights are present. The staff is very friendly and will assist you with whatever they can. We can really recommend this lovely place and would love to return again. The Zhuang people in the village are a smiling, friendly and open minded relaxed experience. Jacob / Dilin"
