The front gate of our vacation rental is situated on the Guilin Golden Tourism Roadway. Wanfu Plaza, with the biggest supermarket in Guilin and coffee shops, restaurants, Dmax cinema and shopping malls, kids playgrounds are only 2 kilometers away, 5 minutes by public bus to get there. Public bus No.12 and No.28 start right from our community gate.

Activities around Guilin
Guilin is the Li river cruise access point. The Li River is one of the most 15 beautiful rivers in the world (rated by CNN) and winds along the jagged mountains for hundreds of miles in southern China. There is a 4 hour Li river cruise which provides an overall experience of this beautiful river. The Chinese call this the big landscape painting.
Guilin has been granted a Natural Heritage Site from UNESCO. Within the city center there are many different river pathways, bridges and 4 large lakes to view. Natural mountains pop up throughout the city core creating a unique and vibrant landscape like no other city in the world. Downtown Guilin sparkles in the night as the city is decorated with a plethora of colored lights. Visit the old Guilin gate, see the 4 lakes, walk over the 13 different European style bridges all which contribute to making the night life vibrate.
Also nearby are the LongSheng Terraced Paddy Fields, home to the ethnic minorities of Zhuang, Yao, Miao and Dong. These rice fields are incredibly beautiful and attract tourists from around the world. This is 110 km northwest of Guilin.
Other attractions include the Yulong River, where you can take a bamboo raft. Watch a demonstration by fishermen and their cormorant birds and enjoy another kind of lifestyle here.

We hired her for 4 days of touring and it was wonderful to be able to custom pick the places we wanted to go and things we wanted to do rather than join a large group was very impressed with the van driver Daisy choose for us. he was such a safe driver and i felt confident that he could manage the long drives on sometimes a little scary roads. She gave us great restaurant advice and made sure we were able to get where we wanted to go. A taxi ride to downtown from Daisy's place is a little far but just a couple bucks. I would highly recommend Daisy's rental to anyone going to Guilin. Also-if her place is already rented-contact her for tours. She's probably the most honest tour guide out there. True Immersion - Lifetime Experience*****
There are not enough words to convey how wonderful of a time i had, the week i stayed at Daisy's home. If you are looking for true immersions: living among the locals. this is the place. Her penthouse is spacious and clean. It's located in a condo/apartment complex with a guard house. In addition for incidentals there is a little convenience store on the premises. If you'd like you can ask Daisy to organize local trips around Guilin as well as restaurants.Her home is quite comfortable and all the rooms have wc. the location is not in downtown guilin and that was ok for us. but a 5 min bus from in front of the complex will get you to supermarkets, a small mall, restaurants and banks If you are willing to learn Chinese and willing to speak English to children, Daisy has a school that teaches english to elementary school kids. We took advantage of that and did a lot of local activities with the children and their families. I felt very welcome in Daisys home and in Guilin. Daisy and Guilin are a perfect combination*****
We are so thankful to have connected with Daisy to help us plan our visit to Guilin. From the moment we were in contact, she did everything possible to meet our needs as a family and even accommodated our itinerary to stay within our budget. Our flight was cancelled twice, and daisy went above and beyond to help us get to Guilin. Once we were in Guilin, we had the privilege to spend 3 travel days with Daisy, as she brought us to the Longhi rice Paddy Fields, set up a Li river cruise, brought us up mount Yao and guided us through Seven Star Park, among other things. She is a wealth of information, and she was great with our 3 kids(9, 11, and 13). The accommodations in the penthouse are excellent The beds are very comfortable, which is rare for China. All necessary amenities are in the kitchen The central heating unit in the main room kept the temperature comfortable for our family, and we were there in late December. Charming views of the countryside of Guilin! *****
We feel blessed to have found daisy on Vrbo! She helped us with our flights between multiple cities and meals along with sites of exploration Because it was just the two of us we had an intimate tour with the best of daisy s 1 6yrs experience in the travel industry. Our weather was very wet in beautiful Guilin, but Daisy was able to make the best of it changing plans so we could experience the most on our visit. the penthouse was more then ample for us! With all the comforts of home we were even able to do some laundry. We especially enjoyed meeting your student's from your English class!
