- "Beautiful resort in a stunning environment, a few meters from the beach. Staff is exquisite, we had an amazing staying. Excellent variety of food for breakfast, brunch and lunch; Miri restaurant doesn't offer the same wide choices for dinner, but maybe it was due to the fact that it was low season and there were not many guests. Only 2 remarks: wine is ridiculously overpriced as well as the pick up/drop off to the airport. Beside this, St. Regis is always an excellent choice and we would love to visit it again "

Akash and Rajendra in the Dining Room restaurant were beyond thoughtful and caring for our family's special dietary needs. Our housekeeper, Balram Adarsh ensured our rooms were always comfortable, well cleaned, and organized. Would highly recommend it for families. Great pool, spa, and gym. The adjacent beach is a small strip of land, safe and clean. Great for long walks. Onsite holiday events can get a bit crowded and noisy. If you're looking for a great stay-put vacation with family, this is a great choice. "

- "Our family had a fantastic time at Zuri White Sands. The gardens of the facility are among the most well kept and serene I have ever seen. The pool areas are lovely and clean. Breakfast was good with an excellent selection, although with a bit noisy acoustics. The pan-Asian restaurant is also we’ll worth a visit, with warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellent food and very attentive staff. The rooms were kept clean and neat, but not sound proof in any way. It’s also good that they try to think of environmental issues, noticeable for instance that you can choose not to change linnen (but I would suggest they do the opposite, that you have to make an active choice to get the linnen exchanged, since I think lots of people don’t actually care enough to leave that note on the pillow). The beach is also amazing in this area, but the motor boats and amount of people has left it a bit less pristine than last time we were here some 10 years ago. In Goa it’s always tricky with the balance between nature and exploitation, but we were happy to see crabs and sea snails roaming the edge of the water. We will definitely come back to visit again! - "I was told they didn’t have cars to the airport so I hired someone separate, then when they came they got turned away and I had to pay them and the hotel driver that was apparently the only one allowed to give me a ride. But the staff were friendly, the place was kept clean, and the vegetarian restaurant had incredible food and service!" - "Everything about Resort Rio is attractive. - "I is a great place family holiday, staff is very friendly , food is good" - "We have just finished a 10 day stay at the Taj Village Resort and cannot recommend it enough. The entire stay was well beyond our expectations. Shubham, Uma and Salonica at reception were welcoming and always helpful. Sudedh at the travel desk always on hand to organise transport. Prajot and Saeel at the poolside bar were always so kind and went out of their way. Sahhoo the lifeguard was amazing. Always making sure our sun beds were arranged such that my children were sheltered from the sun. Prakash and Devanand at the Caravela were always on hand to ensure we were taken care of at the restaurant. We did have a blip with 2 groups of Ill mannered students checking in and making 4 days rather unpleasant but that cannot be held against the hotel or staff in any way. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a hotel in Goa and you are travelling with children. "

Its location is isolated from Cavelossim 3 km to the north such that one must take a cab to get to alternative restaurants at the rate of 1.25/mile. BYI there are no cars for rent at GOI airport but there is a place just before departing the airport doors where they will give a ticket of what should pay your driver to get to the hotel (1330 rupees) so that you won’t get ripped. There are two schedules of taxi charges: the real one, and then the higher what I dub as the hotel rates. We were very fortunate to find an excellent driver with a more spacious, well air conditioned vehicle. We asked him to drive us to the spice farm in the SE corner of Goa and the national park a few miles further southeast. He had never been there before and joined us in the spice tour(outstandingly!). Two days later we asked us to drive us via a short ferry boat ride to Divar island to see some very old cathedrals. He had never been there either. We continued that trip to North Goa only a few block from the ferry slip. Alfred was our driver’s name (ph; 91-9823215674 (taxi GA-08,U7034). A major problem, indeed altercation with management occurred upon departure: they refused to honor two free passes to the Zest Cafe, a breakfast and a dinner. Both my wife and I clearly heard the offer and presented cards to surrender at the cafe. We offered to split the costs of those meals, but they refused. This is a major lack of integrity! "
