In this well- preserved, unspoilt environment, you are bound to come upon all kinds of deer, hear the amazing loud bellowing noise of the Red Deer stags in autumn, and at night, gaze at the clear, starry skies whilst soaking in the hot tubs. A truly unique experience you will never forget !
Hot tubs are heated (39-40°C) by a wood burning stove installed in the water.

The sauna and tubs are handcrafted in the area by BAKEDO. The are built in larch wood.

A big floor to ceiling sliding window helps the room light and provides nice panoramic views out over the mountains, particulary Le Cagire, a Pyrenean peak that is really worth discovering.
Le mourtis ski station (15 mn from the chalet), very popular with families, can also be seen from the gîte.

Motorway A64 from Toulouse. Exit 20, Saint-Girons. In Montsaunes, take the road leading up to Aspet.
Motorway A64 from Tarbes. Exist 18, Saint-Gaudens. Check the signs indicating Miramont de Comminges. Follow D5 up to Aspet.
In Aspet, ckeck the signs indicating Le Mourtis. Take D618, and then D85.
The take D44, check the signs indicating Le Gouret, Le Souleignan. Drive up fill you get to the Chalet. You will see it on your left.
In winter, local Department roads are clear. But please note : snow equipment for your car is compulsory.

By train

The nearest train station is in Saint-Gaudens, 35 mn from the Chalet. Saint-Gaudens stations is on the Toulouse/Bayonne line.

By plane

The nearest airports are Toulouse Blagnac and Tarbes Ossun Lourdes both are 90mn from the chalet

The space
The cottage is composed of a living room with a kitchen area and a sitting area on the ground floor.
The kitchen is new and fully equipped (oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, gas hob, toaster, Senseo coffee maker, raclette service, full dishwasher service, kitchen kit). In the seating area you will find a comfortable 3-seater sofa, a TV (80 cm) with DVD player, a large table with six chairs around a traditional stone fireplace. The bathroom is present on the ground floor and consists of a shower cubicle, sink and column so you can store your belongings. A separate toilet is also present on the ground floor.
You will access the floor via a small staircase that overlooks two large bedrooms. The first consists of a double bed (quality bedding) and a games and/or reading area with a sofa bed, board games and books available to you.
In the second bedroom you will find two beds (quality bedding), a double bed (140 x 190) and a single bed (90 x 190). The cottage is accompanied by a small garden that you can enjoy with a south-facing terrace that enjoys a magnificent panoramic view of the Mourtis and the Cagire.
