This room (with view and balcony and a new private internal bathroom) is upstairs on Paolyn Houseboat that is located in the pristine, clear and clean water of Awan Awan Lagoon, in Coron island, just 500 mtrs from the famous Twin Lagoons, not far from Kayangan Lake. The Lagoon is 360 degrees sheltered that makes the water perfectly calm. Our Houseboats are the only accommodation and restaurant in Coron island and they are totally OffTheGrid. The Paolyn original houseboat has three levels. The ground floor has a dining and relaxing common area, all around 360 degrees there is a platform from where you can access to the sea trough two ladders and where you can relax and take the sun. Plus an additional big floating deck of 54 square meters. The first floor has three bedrooms and three bathrooms with a balcony. The ground floor has two bedrooms with two bathrooms. The top floor has a terrace with sunbeds and the possibility to eat there. The view is 360 degrees.
The JUNIOR SUITE, the UNICORN ROOM and the small NEMO room are located at the first floor.
The Junior Suite has a private internal bathroom and a private balcony. The unicorn room (little smaller than the Junior suite) has a new private internal bathroom and a balcony .
The guests of the Junior suite will walk trough the balcony side of the Unicorn room to enter their room. The balcony side of the Junior suite is private for the guests staying it. This is why the Junior Suite offers more privacy comparing to the Unicorn room
The guests of the small Nemo room has now a new small private bathroom located next door.
Transportation is included from and to the airport or Coron Town (30 min common van ride and 30 min boat trip).
Please consider that the Unicorn Room is perfect for a couple, even with one or two kids, but it is not very big. It has a very nice queen bed and one single bed with the possibility to have a second single bed. The Bathroom is now private and accessible from inside the room. If you are looking for a bigger room please check the Junior Suite or one of the Bamboo Suites, they all have internal private bathroom and bigger spaces! We also have new houseboats entirely private.
The Bamboo Houseboat have four suites that offer you more comfort and privacy.

We ask a surcharge for the air conditioning since we need to run all night a generator because the solar panels are not enough for the AC! but no noise in the lagoon since the Generators are on another dedicated houseboat out of the lagoon and connected with 3,000 meters of special submarine cables to all houseboats! but honestly being on the water there is always a nice breeze, it is very safe to leave all doors open. For one AC the surcharge is 2,500 pesos for 9 hours, some guests decide to do just half time and pay half. With these amount we just cover part of the price of the fuel! In fact the smaller generator uses 4.5 liter an hour and we pay the fuel around 80 pesos per liter. So we hope you will not choose to have AC :) also because it is still pollution and normally being on the sea there is always a little of breeze and it is never too hot thank also to the multiple fans that the rooms have. Guests can also decide if to have AC also once in the room and even at 9 pm since it will take 10 minutes to start all (we have 26 people night shift, so they can assist you for any need!).

Please note that even if we have invested in boosters and special amplified antennas, the wifi internet connections are not fast, especially during the day time when there are many tourists in Coron town (where it is not very fast too). In fact we connect to the same tower that is in Busuanga Island since in Coron Island there are not services (no tower, no water, no electricity, no restaurants, no hotels). In the bamboo suites the wifi is faster since there is a more open view to the tower so the signal is stronger
And internet is faster especially from late night to early morning when less people in town are using internet.

Comfortable SUITE in the UNIQUE Paolyn Bamboo Houseboat located in an amazing private lagoon in Coron Island, few meters from Twin Lagoons and not far from Kayangan lake. This SUITE has a big internal private bathroom, a private open cottage (where you can also eat if you do not want to eat in our private Italo/Filipino Restaurant) and two private platforms with sunbeds and shade and from where to swim (one is 15sqm and the other is 18 sqm). You can also have Airconditioning (with extracharge). We also have further insulated the walls with special sound absorbing material. You have free use of Kayaks, SUPs and snorkeling gears.

The room has an amazing view since two walls are entirely made in folding tempered glass panels (16!) without any frame. This houseboat can be also modular depending on the needs of the guests (two private bedrooms or one bedroom and one big indoor sala / living area. In both cases there is also the possibility to use the mezzanine/mansard with extrabeds perfect for kids/teenagers).

In the option of the private houseboat if instead to be only one couple it will be more than two people there are few possibilities. One possibility is to have another double bed in the same bedroom (for example one couple with small kids that need to sleep in the same room.
Another possibility is to have another double bed in the second room. This is a very nice solution for one family with kids old enough to sleep in their own room or for two couple of friends. So each couple would have its own bedroom and its own big private bathroom.
Another possibility is to have 2 double beds (plus eventually one mattress on floor) in the mezzanino.
This would be perfect for kids not too small. they would love to go up and down to the mansard!
In this case the second room could be still the saloon with the 8 people crystal table or could have a double bed.
For example a family with two couples and some kids. One couple could stay in one bedroom, the other couple in the second bedroom and the kids upstairs in the mezzanino!
So one bathroom would be private for one bedroom and the second bathroom will be used from the guests staying in the second bedroom (or the saloon) and in the mezzanine (the stairs to go up to the mezzanino are in this moment inside the second room just at the entrance.
I am already thinking to make a third small bathroom with shower also in the mezzanine and to put the steps outside of the second room .... but we will see!

This houseboat can be also modular depending on the needs of the guests (two private bedrooms or one bedroom and one big indoor sala / living area. In both cases there is also the possibility to use the mezzanine/mansard with extrabeds perfect for kids/teenagers).
The room has a big private bathroom with two separate rooms. One room with one sink and one glass shower and one room with the marine toilet and another sink.
It has one or two big private floating decks of 36 sqm (6 meters by 6 meters) where guests can rest laying down on comfortable chairs or from where they can enter the water from the ladder and where also an external fresh water shower is located.
One option is to rent the entire Glass houseboat private (this means the two rooms, the two bathrooms, the mezzanino, deck platforms, open cottages/Patio) and one option is to rent half of it, for one couple.
This would costs for two people 50 percent more than the bamboo suite. The setup for the two people is with one bedroom with one double bed and one saloon with table in crystal for 8 people where to eat or to work at the computer comfortably sitting with an amazing view! It will be a super suite for a special couple! Ideal for an incredible Honeymoon!
In the option of the private housboat if instead to be only one couple it will be more than two people there are few possibilities. One possibility is to have another double bed in the same bedroom (for example one couple with small kids that need to sleep in the same room.
Another possibility is to have another double bed in the second room. This is a very nice solution for one family with kids old enough to sleep in their own room or for two couple of friends. So each couple would have its own bedroom and its own big private bathroom.
Another possibility is to have 2 double beds (plus eventually one mattress on floor) in the mezzanino.
This would be perfect for kids not too small. they would love to go up and down to the mansard!
In this case the second room could be still the saloon with the 8 people crystal table or could have a double bed.
For example a family with two couples and some kids. One couple could stay in one bedroom, the other couple in the second bedroom and the kids upstairs in the mezzanino!
So one bathroom would be private for one bedroom and the second bathroom will be used from the guests staying in the second bedroom (or the saloon) and in the mezzanine (the stairs to go up to the mezzanino are in this moment inside the second room just at the entrance.
I am already thinking to make a third small bathroom with shower also in the mezzanine and to put the steps outside of the second room .... but we will see!
Each additional person in the Glass houseboat would costs 2000 pesos per person.
The second option (that is the one of this listing) is just to have half houseboat (one private bedroom, with one private bathroom and one private deck platform of 22 square meters and a private open cottage where to eat) this solution for two people would cost 2000 pesos more than the bamboo suite. The privacy will be pretty good but this means that other guests might stay in the other half houseboat!

The MegaGlassHouseboat is one of the two newest!
This houseboat is modular and can be booked ENTIRELY PRIVATE (650 sqm, 4 MegaGlassSuites till 30–40 guests in 8 rooms), in HALF (325 sqm, 2 MegaGlassSuites till 16–20 guests in 4 rooms), or in one quarter (162.5 sqm, ONE MEGA GLASS SUITE for up to 10 guests in 2 rooms).

If the houseboat is not booked entirely, double separators are placed between the Suites on the private outdoor decks (each is 65 sqm). Each MegaGlassSuite has a 30 sqm ground floor bedroom with its own toilet room, shower room, walk-in garderobe, and a full front wall (7 meters wide) of frameless folding glass panels that fully open. Upstairs, there is a 27 sqm mezzanine serving as a second bedroom (mostly 240 cm high) with its own toilet room, shower room, and a 14 sqm balcony with a table. The mezzanine also has a 3-meter-wide frameless folding glass wall.
There are two ladders to access the mezzanine: one inside and one outside, leading to the balcony. The ceiling and internal ladder have a special mechanism that can be adjusted to make the upstairs room fully independent, ideal for two couples using separate access.
The ground floor has one king bed and one pull-out queen. Upstairs has one queen and two pull-out beds, one king and one queens. Each Suite can be booked by one couple (ground floor king), two couples (one downstairs, one upstairs), or a small group (with 1 king and up to 2 queen beds upstairs depending on guest count).

We have at the moment four eco-friendly houseboats (plus one new eco-friendly Houseboat Restaurant) in two pristine lagoons in Coron Island with 6 different typologies of accommodations (11 rooms in total since we want to keep our place quite and special! So you will never feel overcrowded even during Christmas time!).
We are the only accommodation in Coron Island that is National Park, Marine Reserve, Unesco Biosphere site and ancestral domain of the Tagbanua Tribe whose members are involved by us in our project (Coron Island is different from Coron town that is located in another island named Busuanga, where the airport is).

We goes from to the more exclusive Entire Glass Houseboat or Entire Paolyn Houseboat, where there are not neighbors, to the more affordable double rooms of the Minihouseboat.
These are our different accommodations. Each room has a private bathroom with shower, a private floating deck with long chairs and sun-umbrella and a private open cottage where it is possible to eat privately. In case guests prefer to eat at the restaurant we have a new private Italo-Filipino restaurant / BAR where only our guests are allowed and where they can still enjoy the amenities – kayaks, sups, snorkeling gears - and rest in the long chairs under the sun umbrellas in case of early pick up or late drop off.
Most of our solutions can accommodate one couple and have the possibility to add more guests. Please note that the comfort is higher when only one couple occupies the room.

The particularity of this houseboat is that has on three sides (four walls) all folding glasses panels (33!) without any frame that means two things: 1st when the panels are folded it is all open; 2nd when the panels are closed, the three sides are all in glass without frame so the view is still amazing more than 180 degrees around!
Depending on the needs of the guests it has the possibility to have at the ground floor one bedroom and one big living area or two separate bedrooms each with its internal private double rooms bathroom, (eventually also the small mezzanine/mansarde can be used where there are two double beds ideal for teenagers or kids!).

Entire Paolyn Houseboat (3 bedrooms). max 6/10 people. This is the the first built houseboat and has three levels. It has 90 square meters at the ground floor (1 bathroom with shower for the guests and 1 separate bathroom with shower for the staff), three bedrooms (the Junior Suite, the Unicorn Room and the Nemo Room that is available only when this Houseboat is rented all private) at the first floor (3 bathrooms with shower) for a total of 60 square meters and a top roof terrace of 25 square meters. It has a dining area that can host privately a group of till 30/40 people. It also has a resting area in the front of the ground floor with two round sofas. Plus 36 square meters of floating decks where long chairs and sun-umbrellas are. So 211 square meters in total. When rented privately it gives full privacy. Half Glass Houseboat (one couple). The ground level of the Glass Houseboat can be divided in two independent halfs. Each Half can accommodate one couple. All indoor and outdoor spaces are independent for each half and are a total 61 square meters for each. The Half Glass Houseboat offers little more privacy of the Bamboo Suite since the other Half Glass Houseboat can host only one more couple. The mezzanine/mansarde will not be available. Bamboo Suite, 2/6 people (the Bamboo Houseboat has 4 Bamboo Suites one in each private corner of the houseboat). Each Suite is a good solution for one couple that would like some comfort and space or for a small family made from one couple with maximum four kids or for a group of 4 adults willing to share the room. The private indoor and outdoor space of each Suite is total 60 square meters. Each of the two sides of the Bamboo Houseboats has two Suites. Each side has a platform with a separation in the middle (a timber wall that divides the platfrom in two parts) that makes each Suite totally independent from the other (don’t see the guests of the other Suite except during swimming!). In case a family or a group (or two couples) book two bamboo suites we can take off the separation on the deck between the two Suites. In this way they will still have their own privacy in the bedrooms and in the bathrooms but they will share with their friends/family the outdoor areas (the platform, the open cottages and the floating decks). The Bamboo Suite number 1 can share the platform with the Bamboo Suite number 2 and the Bamboo Suite number 3 can share the platform with the Bamboo Suite number 4.
Each suite has a main queen size double bed just in front of a totally openable 2 meters wide glass door (you have an amazing view when you lay down on your bed). Inside each suite there are also a second double queen size bed and one or two single beds that can be used like resting aerea or like beds depending on your needs and requests (for example in case of a small family with kids).
The Suites are all at the ground floor and each one has its own private internal bathroom (with a big shower, two sinks and a marine toilet), a private outdoor area where to eat and rest (called open cottage or patio with private table and sitting area) and a private connected platform of 15 sqm (where to have a sunbath and from where to jump in the water) with a private ladder and a private external fresh water shower. In December 2019 we have added to each room a further floating deck of 18 sqm where the long chairs and the sun – umbrella are. Recently we have also added more soundproofing in the walls between the Suites so there is more privacy inside the room comparing to before.

Junior Suite on the Paolyn Houseboat. 2/4 people It is located at the first floor with a small balcony.
It has a queen size double bed and on request one single bed and one double bed (the last one on the floor under the single bed like a bunk beds). The view is amazing. It has a small balcony and a private internal bathroom with shower. It is ideal for a couple or a small family made by a couple with kids (not too small since it is located at the first floor). In case of families probably the Bamboo Suite is more suitable that is all ground level. In December 2019 we have added more soundproofing material between the walls of the rooms and also two floating decks to the Paolyn Houseboat so there is more space also to lay down in the long chairs close to the sea under a sun – umbrella and the Junior Suite and the Unicorn Room have each a private floating deck.

Unicorn Room on the Paolyn Houseboat. 2/3 people. It is located at the first floor with a small balcony and it is good for one couple but it can host also a small family (one couple with one or two kids). In case of families probably the Bamboo Suite is more suitable that is all ground level. It is little smaller than the Junior Suite, has a queen size double bed and on request two single bunks beds. It has a private internal bathroom (from September 2019). We suggest not to be more than 3 people since the space is not so big. In December 2019 we have added more soundproofing material between the walls of the rooms and also two floating decks to the Paolyn Houseboat so there is more space also to lay down in the long chairs close to the sea under a sun – umbrella and the Junior Suite and the Unicorn Room have each a private floating deck.

Double Room in the Mini Houseboat (that has 4 double rooms). This is our entry level accommodation. Small rooms with small internal bathrooms with shower. All indoor and outdoor spaces are still private and in total they are 24 square meters. It has a small open cottage where to eat privately and 2 long chairs under a sun-umbrella. It has been ended during the lock down so no reviews for this room from guests yet!
Paolyn Houseboats are sustainable and eco-friendly. They do not create pollution. Coron Island does not have electricity and fresh water. We make our own electricity and fresh water. The House-boats have over 15 kw of solar panels (over 6000 ah of batteries and over 8 kw of inverters) and 24h electricity 220 volts, 24h lights and 24h fresh water. Bathrooms (toilets, showers and sinks) and kitchen (even if all our soaps are natural and 100 % biodegradable) do not discharge in the sea but in holding tanks located in the hulls of the houseboats. We have specially equipped boats that daily suck all the waste water and bring it to another island (two hours far) where we have built our six stages septic tank on a small hill and where we have a motorpump system to pump up the waste water from the boats up the septic tank. We also have an STP machine (that treats wastewater) at the end of the last stage of the septic tank.
DENR, PCSD and Municipality Offices have duly inspected our Houseboats and our waste management system.
The prices for the rooms are for two people for each room. There is a small charge for each additional person over the 2 people in each room. (The price of the Entire Paolyn Houseboat is for 6 people. The Price for the Entire Glass Houseboat is for 2 people). The reason is not only because of additional cost connected with the laundry, the transfers and the use of the amenities (kayaks, SUPs and snorkeling gears) but especially because we would need to produce more fresh water and more electricity (remember this amazing island doesn't have any electricity and any fresh water) and also we will have more waste water to treat (more toilet use, more shower etc).
All our employees live in, so they do not have other ordinary contacts with the external world and most of them are from the Tagbanua tribe of Coron Island so their families live in Cabugao that is a remote tribe village in the middle of Coron Island where nobody is really allowed to go and most of the residents do not go anywhere except fishing.
Our tours are by private speedboats and they can go to the famous attractions early in the morning when no crowd so for example our guests already experienced Kayangan Lake and Barracuda Lake alone. Even in case some of our guests would like to eat in our private Italian Filipino restaurant instead in their private dining area, we have the possibility to guarantee a physical distance since we we have just ended building a new bigger private houseboat restaurant. Private means that nobody else of overnight Paolyn Houseboats guests can eat in it.

A totally PRIVATE 300 square meters 3 levels eco-friendly houseboat located in an amazing private lagoon in Coron Island with pristine and clean water, few meters from Twin Lagoons and 5 km from Coron Town. Just jump and snorkel, kayak, paddleboard, relax on the long chairs under the sun umbrella or take a sunbath, have a massage. Nobody else will be accepted on board and you will have all the houseboat private for you and your friends or family! Also the dining area and the top terrace
The space
ENTIRE PAOLYN ORIGINAL HOUSEBOAT, 350 square meters all private. Totally refitted and enlarged in September 2024 and March 2025. 5 bedrooms with 5 internal private bathrooms and a top roof terrace (amazing for dinners under the stars and the moon), good for 4 / 15 people (we suggest max 10 adults and 5 kids or 5 couples).
All five bedrooms have an internal private bathroom with hot water shower and Vacuum Electric Toilets from USA (no manual toilet anymore!)

It has three levels. It has 122 square meters at the ground floor (private dining area with 2 new bedrooms and 2 bathrooms), three bedrooms (the Junior Suite, the Unicorn Room and the Nemo Room) at the first floor (3 bathrooms) for a total of 73 square meters and a top roof terrace of 33 square meters. It has a first indoor private dining area that can host privately a small group of over 15 people.
It is ideal for 2 or more couples (till 5) or one or two small families that would like to have space, comfort and privacy. Two bedrooms have also 2 singles bunk beds and one bedroom has one single bed (so in total there are 5 queen beds and 5 single beds. We suggest the singles beds for kids). There is not space to add single matrass inside the bedrooms. Some big groups asked to remove the table and the chairs in the internal dining area and add some mattresses in this area! It worked out since there is still the outdoor big dining area and the bathroom of the ground floor front room has a second door to enter it from the common area!
It has 130 square meters of added decks where to relax on sunbeds under sun removable shade with a second outdoor dining area for over 20 people. The price is for the first 6 guests. We had special couples that rented all private for one couple in order to have privacy and comfort. AC available with surcharge in all the bedrooms.
You can relax on your private floating deck on a sunbed, you can rent a private speedboat for an unforgettable not crowded tour, you can just jump in the water from your private deck and go snorkeling or you can go with the kayak or the standuppaddleboard (the use of kayak, standuppaddleboard and snorkeling gears is free) to visit Twin Lagoons (that is just the next lagoon) or other close by lagoons and superb snorkeling spots.
The Lagoons have breathless landscape with steep cliffs and Karst rock formations made of Permian Limestone of Jurassic origin that you can almost touch from the Houseboats and of whose views you can also enjoy from your bed and during enjoying your fresh and instantly cooked meals. It also offers superb snorkeling in pristine water and it is totally quite except birds chirping and splashes of fish.
We have at the moment eight eco-friendly houseboats (plus one new eco-friendly Houseboat Restaurant) in four pristine lagoons in Coron Island with only 8 different typologies of accommodations So you will never feel overcrowded even during Christmas time!).
We are the only accommodation in Coron Island that is National Park, Marine Reserve, Unesco Biosphere site and ancestral domain of the Tagbanua Tribe whose members are involved by us in our project (Coron Island is different from Coron town that is located in another island named Busuanga, where the airport is).
We have also a new amazing GLASS HOUSEBOAT that can be also all private for you in case you are just a couple in honeymoon or two couples.
It has an amazing view since the walls on three sides are entirely made in folding tempered glass panels (33!!) without any frame. This means stunning view over 180 degrees around in both cases when the glass walls are opened (since they fold on the sides so the wall is all open!) or when they are closed (since no frame! so you have three glass walls!).
We have started to host guests over 7 years ago (with Paolyn Houseboat that originally was built for us!) and the over 1000 reviews that we had till now on the different social medias can give you an idea why almost all of our guests have given the maximum stars rate in their reviews!
Our goal is to offer to the guests an unforgettable experience to be on the sea like being on a boat (in contact with an amazing nature) with the comfort and the safety of being in a house.
All our Houseboats are also perfect for keeping a spontaneous physical distance from other guests.
In fact each room is private and has now its own private internal bathroom with shower, private dining area, private outdoor relaxing area (with private long chairs and sun - umbrella) with private ladder to enter the sea.
Each Houseboat offers a different size of rooms and different privacy toward neighbor guests and some of them can be rented whole privately.
We goes from to the more exclusive Entire Glass Houseboat or Entire Paolyn Houseboat, where there are not neighbors, to the more affordable double rooms of the Minihouseboat.
These are our different accommodations. Each room has a private bathroom with shower, a private floating deck with long chairs and sun-umbrella and a private open cottage where it is possible to eat privately. In case guests prefer to eat at the restaurant we have a new private Italo-Filipino restaurant / BAR where only our guests are allowed and where they can still enjoy the amenities – kayaks, sups, snorkeling gears - and rest in the long chairs under the sun umbrellas in case of early pick up or late drop off.
Most of our solutions can accommodate one couple and have the possibility to add more guests. Please note that the comfort is higher when only one couple occupies the room.
Here the list!
Entire Paolyn Houseboat (3 bedrooms). max 6/10 people. This is the the first built houseboat and has three levels. It has 90 square meters at the ground floor (1 bathroom with shower for the guests and 1 separate bathroom with shower for the staff), three bedrooms (the Junior Suite, the Unicorn Room and the Nemo Room that is available only when this Houseboat is rented all private) at the first floor (3 bathrooms with shower) for a total of 60 square meters and a top roof terrace of 25 square meters. It has a dining area that can host privately a group of till 30/40 people. It also has a resting area in the front of the ground floor with two round sofas. Plus 36 square meters of floating decks where long chairs and sun-umbrellas are. So 211 square meters in total. When rented privately it gives full privacy. Entire Glass Houseboat 2/6 people. ALL PRIVATE. This is the favorite solution for couples in honey moon or celebrating special occasions (122 square meters indoor and outdoor all private without neighbors. This gives a full privacy). It is also a good solution for two couples traveling together, for a small family (maximum two couples ground floor and maximum 4 kids in the mezzanine) or for a small group of friends (ground level 122 square meters plus 20 square meters mezzanine total 142 square meters).
It has two bathrooms each with two separate rooms. So each bathroom has one room with one sink and one glass shower and one room with the marine toilet and another sink.
It has two floating private platforms of 36 square meters each (6 meters by 6 meters) where guests can rest laying down on the long chairs under a sun – umbrella and take a fresh water shower after coming up from the sea from the private ladder. On each platform there is also an open cottage with sitting area and a table where to eat privately if guests prefer not to eat at the Houseboat Restaurant. So the couple can eat in their private dining area inside in the saloon or outside in the open cottage or, of course, in the Paolyn Houseboat Restaurant.
The particularity of this houseboat is that has on three sides (four walls) all folding glasses panels (33!) without any frame that means two things: 1st when the panels are folded it is all open; 2nd when the panels are closed, the three sides are all in glass without frame so the view is still amazing more than 180 degrees around!
Depending on the needs of the guests it has the possibility to have at the ground floor one bedroom and one big living area or two separate bedrooms each with its internal private double rooms bathroom, (eventually also the small mezzanine/mansarde can be used where there are two double beds ideal for teenagers or kids!).

Half Glass Houseboat (one couple). The ground level of the Glass Houseboat can be divided in two independent halfs. Each Half can accommodate one couple. All indoor and outdoor spaces are independent for each half and are a total 61 square meters for each. The Half Glass Houseboat offers little more privacy of the Bamboo Suite since the other Half Glass Houseboat can host only one more couple. The mezzanine/mansarde will not be available. Bamboo Suite, 2/6 people (the Bamboo Houseboat has 4 Bamboo Suites one in each private corner of the houseboat). Each Suite is a good solution for one couple that would like some comfort and space or for a small family made from one couple with maximum four kids or for a group of 4 adults willing to share the room. The private indoor and outdoor space of each Suite is total 60 square meters. Each of the two sides of the Bamboo Houseboats has two Suites. Each side has a platform with a separation in the middle (a timber wall that divides the platfrom in two parts) that makes each Suite totally independent from the other (don’t see the guests of the other Suite except during swimming!). In case a family or a group (or two couples) book two bamboo suites we can take off the separation on the deck between the two Suites. In this way they will still have their own privacy in the bedrooms and in the bathrooms but they will share with their friends/family the outdoor areas (the platform, the open cottages and the floating decks). The Bamboo Suite number 1 can share the platform with the Bamboo Suite number 2 and the Bamboo Suite number 3 can share the platform with the Bamboo Suite number 4.
Each suite has a main queen size double bed just in front of a totally openable 2 meters wide glass door (you have an amazing view when you lay down on your bed). Inside each suite there are also a second double queen size bed and one or two single beds that can be used like resting aerea or like beds depending on your needs and requests (for example in case of a small family with kids).
The Suites are all at the ground floor and each one has its own private internal bathroom (with a big shower, two sinks and a marine toilet), a private outdoor area where to eat and rest (called open cottage or patio with private table and sitting area) and a private connected platform of 15 sqm (where to have a sunbath and from where to jump in the water) with a private ladder and a private external fresh water shower. In December 2019 we have added to each room a further floating deck of 18 sqm where the long chairs and the sun – umbrella are. Recently we have also added more soundproofing in the walls between the Suites so there is more privacy inside the room comparing to before.

Junior Suite on the Paolyn Houseboat. 2/4 people It is located at the first floor with a small balcony.
It has a queen size double bed and on request one single bed and one double bed (the last one on the floor under the single bed like a bunk beds). The view is amazing. It has a small balcony and a private internal bathroom with shower. It is ideal for a couple or a small family made by a couple with kids (not too small since it is located at the first floor). In case of families probably the Bamboo Suite is more suitable that is all ground level. In December 2019 we have added more soundproofing material between the walls of the rooms and also two floating decks to the Paolyn Houseboat so there is more space also to lay down in the long chairs close to the sea under a sun – umbrella and the Junior Suite and the Unicorn Room have each a private floating deck.

Unicorn Room on the Paolyn Houseboat. 2/3 people. It is located at the first floor with a small balcony and it is good for one couple but it can host also a small family (one couple with one or two kids). In case of families probably the Bamboo Suite is more suitable that is all ground level. It is little smaller than the Junior Suite, has a queen size double bed and on request two single bunks beds. It has a private internal bathroom (from September 2019). We suggest not to be more than 3 people since the space is not so big. In December 2019 we have added more soundproofing material between the walls of the rooms and also two floating decks to the Paolyn Houseboat so there is more space also to lay down in the long chairs close to the sea under a sun – umbrella and the Junior Suite and the Unicorn Room have each a private floating deck.

Double Room in the Mini Houseboat (that has 4 double rooms). This is our entry level accommodation. Small rooms with small internal bathrooms with shower. All indoor and outdoor spaces are still private and in total they are 24 square meters. It has a small open cottage where to eat privately and 2 long chairs under a sun-umbrella. It has been ended during the lock down so no reviews for this room from guests yet!
Paolyn Houseboats are sustainable and eco-friendly. They do not create pollution. Coron Island does not have electricity and fresh water. We make our own electricity and fresh water. The House-boats have over 15 kw of solar panels (over 6000 ah of batteries and over 8 kw of inverters) and 24h electricity 220 volts, 24h lights and 24h fresh water. Bathrooms (toilets, showers and sinks) and kitchen (even if all our soaps are natural and 100 % biodegradable) do not discharge in the sea but in holding tanks located in the hulls of the houseboats. We have specially equipped boats that daily suck all the waste water and bring it to another island (two hours far) where we have built our six stages septic tank on a small hill and where we have a motorpump system to pump up the waste water from the boats up the septic tank. We also have an STP machine (that treats wastewater) at the end of the last stage of the septic tank.
DENR, PCSD and Municipality Offices have duly inspected our Houseboats and our waste management system.
The prices for the rooms are for two people for each room. There is a small charge for each additional person over the 2 people in each room. (The price of the Entire Paolyn Houseboat is for 6 people. The Price for the Entire Glass Houseboat is for 2 people). The reason is not only because of additional cost connected with the laundry, the transfers and the use of the amenities (kayaks, SUPs and snorkeling gears) but especially because we would need to produce more fresh water and more electricity (remember this amazing island doesn't have any electricity and any fresh water) and also we will have more waste water to treat (more toilet use, more shower etc).
All our employees live in, so they do not have other ordinary contacts with the external world and most of them are from the Tagbanua tribe of Coron Island so their families live in Cabugao that is a remote tribe village in the middle of Coron Island where nobody is really allowed to go and most of the residents do not go anywhere except fishing.
Our tours are by private speedboats and they can go to the famous attractions early in the morning when no crowd so for example our guests already experienced Kayangan Lake and Barracuda Lake alone. Even in case some of our guests would like to eat in our private Italian Filipino restaurant in-stead in their private dining area, we have the possibility to guarantee a physical distance since we we have just ended building a new bigger private houseboat restaurant. Private means that nobody else of overnight Paolyn Houseboats guests can eat in it.
Please visit our website in case you would like to check the menu and the prices for food and drinks in our private italo-filipino restaurant (that is private just for the guests sleeping with us! we do not accept walk-in on our Houseboats). There is not supplement for Room Service so guests can freely decide if to eat in their private areas.
