Think bedding should be offered as a option to rent as no sheet or pillow case, just a sleeping bag for cover was provided. Luckily i was travelling on elsewhere after so i had my own pillow, and sleeping bag. " - "The site was a little hard to find after a long day's drive to get there but well situated for food and wine, range of restaurants, shops, etc nearby. Come and stay in our Glamping Site : 5 large safari lodges 35m² + terrasse set on a 3 hectares field, boarded with ancient oaks, a heated swimming pool, kids playground, and a small guinguette. Staying in a safari lodge is a luxurious way to experience camping, you'll feel close to nature , in a fully equipped accomodation, with comfortable beds, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and a simple kitchen ( 4 gaz hob, table top fridge & toaster ).
The large covered terrace is ideal to seat down for a drink or read a book , or simply enjoy the view, while the kitchen is large enough to have family dîners. The lodges spaced out and set on 200m2 grassed areas, overlooking a quiet rural valley.
We will welcome you like at home. We bought the field opposite our home in the smallest village of the Dordogne in september 2018 , and Garreth has been busy landscaping and building the site and amenities. We had hoped to open in 2021 but Covid delayed our plans , we are very excited to welcome you for a stay connected to nature and simple family pleasures such as a game of water volley in the pool , or watching the stars, sharing grilled marshmallows, or a game of petanque. This haven of peace extends over 41 hectares and aims to achieve total self-sufficiency in water, energy and waste recycling. We are committed to passing on to future generations values that respect nature, the environment and each other.

To keep cool, you can take advantage of a natural swimming pool based on phytodepuration.

The tent is 4 m in diameter and includes a bed and solar lamps.

A small armchair can be folded out to sleep a child under the age of 10.

Nearby, a wooden chalet houses dry toilets, a shower and a washbasin, providing all the necessary comforts.

Breakfast is included in the price of the overnight stay, which is for two people (bed linen not included). A linen package including sheets and towels can be hired.

Guest access

The dining room will welcome you each morning for breakfast. A home-cooked dinner can also be arranged on request. New: a kitchen is now available for preparing picnics and storing food in the fridge.

An outdoor kitchen with fridge and electric hob is also available.

Additional Information

Certified organic since 2001, the estate offers farm products for sale, such as walnut oil and honey. Please note that pets are not allowed, and Wi-Fi is available only on the shared terraces.

A floating lodge, set in the middle of a pond, surrounded by nature. Here, no roads, no neighbors, just calm, water and the spectacle of koi carp gliding beneath your feet.
Accessible by motorboat, the lodge floats to the rhythm of the wind and the water. The setting is simple and uncluttered, designed for slowing down, breathing in and enjoying.

The lodge is totally self-sufficient:
- Solar electricity, satellite wifi (Starlink).
- Filtered water for shower, sink and toilet (non-potable).
- Drinking water available via a dedicated tap.
- Wastewater treatment by phytodepuration, directly on the pond.

Your recent and very well equipped mobile home will be a haven of peace that you will take advantage of to rest because this campsite has been designed intelligently, moving the noisy activities outside the campsite (swimming pool, tennis and bowling alley) but in fact, close by, less than 2 minutes on foot.

The space
The mobile home has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with two single beds. Please note that sheets, pillowcases and towels are not provided. However we can rent them at the price of 5 euros bedding and 2 euros towel.
A fully equipped kitchen: refrigerator with a freezer, hob, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and all the utensils to prepare your meals is at your disposal and is complemented by a lounge/dining area.

Finally a covered terrace where you can rest or dine gives this mobile home a nice area to stay.
You will park right next to the mobile home, there is a location provided for.

We installed an acro game, a home ball, a functional inflatable in the late afternoon, and more traditional games such as a ping-pong table, spring horses, slides, a house for children.
We have regular animations with wooden games that please a lot.
Just outside the campsite you can play tennis for free and a large ball court is also available for free. We have a tournament every Friday.
There are two laundries in the campsite for a total of washing machines and a dryer.
