- "Great bungalow with essential air con. A few utensils had to be bought and kids bedroom was tiny. But otherwise a fun stay at a very Spanish campsite. Pool was perfect and the bar also great with ice cold beers & friendly staff. Evening entertainment is quite hit & miss but there’s a nice vibe about the place. You’re near to town of San José with nice family beach, also Los Genoveses beach is lovely if you get there in time as they close the road when the car park is full."

We and our 2 dogs absolutely loved it!!" - "I booked a one night stay in a bungalow with my two kids and aimed to arrive around 8:30 on a winters night. Unfortunately then my troubles began. Google maps and the Expedia confirmation email lists a location for this place which is about 4km away and it completely threw me. I eventually learnt from a hotel receptionist that I had been misdirected and was told where to go. However the place is set back from a main road and accessible only by a small dirt track which, in the hours of darkness, is well nigh impossible to see. I drove up and down the road for about 15km (it's a very difficult road to double back on) before I eventually worked out how to enter the property. Once there it was OK."

When we arrived, the unit had one double bed. Two of our friends were with us and needed twin beds in the studio unit. The management said it depends on availability for twin beds. We needed to switch our friends to the standard bungalow since it had a sofa bed in the living room and a double bed in the bedroom. - "Holiday RV park for families. We really enjoyed the swimming pool, the sports courts, and watching Euro Cup soccer with all the Spanish families in the outdoor seating area. The front porch was a nice place to eat breakfast and dry swimsuits. We played some free mini-golf and would have played more games (foosball, ping pong, pool) if we had spent more time. Check-in was a bit confusing because there is no parking outside the gates but you need to check in before they let you in the gates; it all worked out in the end. The 2-bedroom cabin was comfortable and clean and the beds were nice. The AC was not powerful enough to cool sufficiently, so we had a warm sleep with no covers. Overall a very good experience."

- "The bungalow was located in a quiet area of the camping and had all the amenities one would need for a week-long holiday. I particularly appreciated the blinds AND black out curtains in all rooms making it possible to sleep in despite bright morning light. The resort was great with plenty of pools, playgrounds for kids and well equipped kids club - with an indoor space make believe play areas(bakery, florist, ice cream parlour and many more) . Plenty of activities for children and adults were organized. I would also recommend the bakery that served great pastries and bread at very affordable prices (€1.1 for a large croissant). - " I really like the context of the houses. Is a good experience for everybody, families, friends or couples " - "2 night weekend stay in a Family Tent. Check in was easy. We arrived at our Tent which was in generally good condition and secure. Very close to the tents around you but we didn't mind that too much. The cushions provided for the bench seats had dog hairs on them and there was a half chewed dog toy. The bed was comfy and linen clean. We visited the pool, which to be honest was pretty filthy. It was full of bugs and leaves. The lifeguards were not interested at all and sat on their phones the entire time. We ate at the restaurant which was low quality food, but actually tasty, hot and the service was excellent. The male waiter was great with our kids throughout. The park is noisy and the noise went on until around 2/3am. But we understand that the culture is different to ours in the UK and it didnt bother us too much. The biggest issue by far was that the tents are ridiculously hot. We could not sit inside at all during the day. At night we had a sleepless night, I had to sit outside at 3am for half an hour to cool down. You are provided a small fan for the entire tent, which makes no difference at all. The sleepless night and the level of heat was so bad that we decided to cut our visit short and we checked out a day early and found alternative accommodation. The firdge did also struggle to get cold, but it was just about adequate. All in all, a dissapointing stay. I think if we came in the winter we would have enjoyed it. But in the Summer it was a bad choice."

- "Misleading advertisement and management didn’t respond when we complained. I booked a cabin via hotels.com at Finca el Mazo for my family including our two young children. It was advertised as being family friendly with lots of activities including swimming pool, football, games room and basketball. When we arrived, it was apparent there was an organised camp of maybe 100 teenagers including a stage, amplifiers, loud music and cheering etc. While this caused us no distress during the daytime, the groups were using many of the facilities which meant we couldn’t. Particularly the football, basketball and table tennis tables were in use for organise competitions. When it came to bedtime, the noise didn’t stop and in fact got worse. We were kept awake until 2:30am. The noise then started again at 7am. When we raised this as a complaint in the morning, while the staff we spoke to were pleasant and helpful, the management were not on site and contrary to the advert, only Spanish was spoken so as English speakers we found it difficult. I emailed the office email address to complain and nearly a week later I’m yet to have any meaningful response. Hotels.com have given me a small goodwill gesture payment"
