There is a school that uses the courtyard behind the hotel, so during the day there was sometimes a "joyful noise" out back. Sometimes I enjoyed it and other times I was looking for my earplugs so that I could focus better. There are plenty of cafes around, so there is no problem finding a meal. I particularly liked the sushi at a nearby grocery store, so I tended to go there. The rooms have a fridge, so I kept my own beverages and a few other things around for meals.
