- "The hostess was really friendly, every thing was ready when we came! We had a late check-in and the room was perfect! Thank u for all the service!" - "Casa Matilda is kind of a bed and breakfast style place as it does not have a manned front desk after about 5 pm. They do have a number to call in case there is any issue, and I never actually had any issue at all. Nevertheless, the location was perfect for me as I was working a couple blocks away. During the day the staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast was everything I needed including fresh fruit and traditional Spanish dishes. There is a school that uses the courtyard behind the hotel, so during the day there was sometimes a "joyful noise" out back. Sometimes I enjoyed it and other times I was looking for my earplugs so that I could focus better. There are plenty of cafes around, so there is no problem finding a meal. I particularly liked the sushi at a nearby grocery store, so I tended to go there. The rooms have a fridge, so I kept my own beverages and a few other things around for meals. This would be a great place to stay for several days while you explore the city. Attractions are walkable or you can take the metro if you prefer. "

The space
As you can see in the picture, it's a big room that can accommodate more than four people, but we limit occupancy to two guests to ensure a quiet environment and comfort for everyone. All our rooms are booked for a maximum of one or two guests to maintain this tranquility.

This room features a large double bed, with the option to add a single bed upon request at no extra charge. There is a bar table with two high chairs and a round table with two very comfortable chairs in front of a large TV mounted on a furnished wall. The room also includes a street-facing window, which we have reduced in size to minimize noise. For additional privacy and specific uses, we have provided curtains.

The room has a private external bathroom located in the hallway, ensuring no shared spaces. This setup makes the flat feel like a mini hotel, very quiet and discreet—you won't hear or notice other guests. Our rooms are clean and non-smoking.

The neighborhood is the best and number one in Barcelona, very central, and close to everything. You can enter and exit the flat 24/24 safely and freely.

The garden is organized into different planted terraces of fruit trees, a huge fig tree presides over the central space giving it a lot of personality to the house also has two terraces and a well.

Get to my home by public transport is easy. If you arrive from the Prat airport it is best to take the Aerobus to Plaça Catalunya. Take the line goes to Sabadell or Terrassa Railway Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) departing from Pl.Catalunya. Choose the central station wagons because of Peu del Funicular where you get off is shorter than usual and so can apearte without problem. From here it takes the funicular with the same ticket and just 3 minutes take you to the Vallvidrera Superior station. From here walk takes 8 minutes to my house.

Other things to note
The washer / dryer service is included one for every 7 days of stay (in addition to a change of bedding), in any other case the service has a cost of € 5 per wash and € 5 per drying. The reservation is for 2 people, any additional person must be informed in advance, even if it is a visit and may have an additional charge.
