Glampers will enjoy a queen size bed - where else can you lie in bed and stargaze?, luxury linens, bath robes, indoor and outdoor shoes, indoor seating and indoor eco-bathroom. A vintage outdoor bath and shower with on-demand hot water and organic toiletries is located on each deck.

We also offer undercover gas hot plate cooking facilities, BBQ and plenty of outdoor seating – choose from our picnic table or fireside bench seating.

Guests will be provided with tea, coffee and basic cooking supplies in our outdoor kitchen area. We provide a small camping fridge inside each Bubbletent for guests that want to self-cater. Parking is close by each Bubbletent on site.

Dark Sky Stargazing: We provide a star-worthy telescope for star gazing inside each Bubbletent, which comes complete with our user-friendly star gazing app. Details on how to find and download this free app are provided in our digital guest book. This app will automatically help to identify stars, planets and constellations.

Catherine thought of everything you would need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Tenterfield is cold but that is all part of the experience. The bubble tent was equipped with electric blankets, hot water bottles, OOdies, warm socks and hot hot water for your outdoor shower. The first night we were there we went to bed and thought the stars were incredible until the moon went down and the sky became even more amazing to look at. The seams in the tent roof disappear when the moon does and it is like you are floating in a spaceship. We lay for hours counting the shooting stars. Not only is the accommodation great but Tenterfield as a destination has so much to offer. The nearby National Parks were stunning with waterfalls and huge granite boulders. Tenterfield has some great places to eat and the history of the town itself is so interesting. We couldn't recommend this more. Treat yourself and go!"

In an Australian glamping first, young guests (and the young at heart!) can sleep in a suspended Tiny Bubble Tent in the surrounding gum trees in our Captain Thunderbolt campsite.

Our Bubbletents are located on a spacious wooden deck with an outdoor vintage bath and shower, on-demand hot water, kitchenette stocked with basic supplies including wood and firelighters, gas burner, BBQ, firepit and wood, kettle and camping toaster. Inside each tent is a portable fridge, indoor and outdoor shoes and bathrobes.

Being off-grid and sustainable we have remained true to our principles and our indoor bathroom hosts a composting toilet (don’t worry it looks like a normal toilet) and hand washing station with limited off-grid water supplies and hand sanitiser. Note there is no heating in the Tiny Bubble Tent.

Next to the deck area is an outdoor firepit with grill plate and outdoor bench seating. It’s the perfect romantic high-country location to sit with a sundowner in hand.

Captain Thunderbolt is our designer-appointed, luxe Bubbletent. Bubbletent guests will enjoy a queen-sized bed, premium natural linens, internal composting eco-toilet, and complimentary organic toiletries. The Mary Ann Bugg Tiny Bubbletent is part of this campsite and is suspended in the gum trees next to the deck. It comes with GlamSwag feather mattresses and bedheads, sleeping bags rated to -5C and has an internal privacy cover and insect screen for your comfort. It's rated to 200kgs so children and adults can share the Tiny Bubble Tent in a tree experience! Our Tiny Bubble Tent comes with its own designer GlamSwag bedding for our younger guests.

Captain Thunderbolt offers its own outdoor vintage bath where you can soak away the worries of the outside world. Wherever you rest your weary head you can watch the stars rise up through the valley and fill the New England sky.
