- "Friendly and approachable people and good atmosphere" - "So the owner passed away in November of 2024. He was a German married to a Filipina and she is locked out of the account on Expedia as she has no password. Needless to say, they property had no clue we booked the room, she has no way to collect the proceeds for the transaction. While I did stay there and paid her for the 4 days in cash, Expedia still has my money which I will inform them of the situation of paying twice to stay there, if they don't refund me, my bank will get it back for me. The apartment itself is okay, the living room is nice but takes forever to cool down. 1 sofa, 2 nice sitting chairs, TV with satellite. Kitchen is decent except for the ants. Damn, I've been in the Philippines and ants are a "thing" but it was insane. I have no clue what they survived on since the apartment has been empty for months. Plenty of dishes, pots/pans, good refrigerator. Good bathroom and separate from living area and bedroom. A/C is only in bedroom and it cools the room down but it takes all night to cool the other part of the apartment. Good storage in the entire house for long term stays. The negatives...okay, you'll have to pay cash and hope Expedia refunds your money. The ants obviously I've covered too. The dirt access road if you have a car is fine but riding double on a heavily loaded scooter is not for the faint at heart. If you are an experienced rider, it's fine but a bit tricky to find the right line. Pool is not particularly clean. Pump and filter not running."

50 minutes south of us by bus you can go SWIMMING WITH THE WHALE SHARKS in Oslob and visit Tumalog Falls.
West of us is the highest mountain peak in Cebu, Osmeña Peak and Mantalongon vegetable market. Mantalongon is also known as the "vegetable basket" and "summer capital" of Cebu.
From Mantalongon town you can go to Badian for some canyoning, go diving in Moalboal and visit Kawasan Falls.

Our caretakers will clean and tidy up, do dishes, make up beds, maintain the pool, lock up the place when our guests are ready to go to sleep, do errands etc. Cooking is not included. The rest of the time they will keep to themselves and not interact with our guests unless you like them.

Public transports are available, mostly tricycles. TRICYCLES ARE PASSED BY OUR VILLA ALL DAY LONG. Aircon buses are passing through Cebu City to the South regularly in both directions.
The price from Obong to Cebu city by aircon bus is 130 pesos.
A tricycle ride costs 10 pesos per head from Obong to Dalaguete proper (downtown). 20 pesos per person from Obong to Tingko beach. At night you should agree price with the driver.
