Skiing at Marmolada is marginal - windy and in the shade - good for on-piste skiers, but the wind destroys the lift-accessible off-piste pretty quickly and it hadn't snowed for a few days when we were there. Checked the block - probably wouldn't make another trip just for Marmolada - but great views from the highest point in the Dolomites. "

- "To see Marolada is amazing. Albergo Malga Ciapela Is a great place to start. The hotel is simple and have everything you need. You can walk to the mountain or take the shuttle provided. The room is well appointed, clean and has everything you need. This is a simple hotel, but it has a sauna, a beautiful lounge, and dining room. The detail that sets this a part from the others? The staff! They are kind and accommodating and really make you feel welcomed. Oh, and the chef. The dinners were fantastic and the wine and beer were reasonably priced and really good. I'll be back.
