The cleanliness of the room leaves much to be desired for a 4-star hotel. There is a disinfectant bottle at each floor but, like everywhere in Mardin, no one wears a mask. It is within walking distance to old town centre but there are many stairs which would be challenging for people with mobility problems. Our only problem was that plaster flakes were falling from the ceiling. Tahir bey is a taxi driver who works with the hotel and he is exceptionally trustworthy and reliable for taking you out on a tour of Mardin and surrounds at a great price. "
