There is a little shop just up the road (turn right and next to Sangham restaurant). The Sangham restaurant is a 5 minute walk and is open late so a good option if the villa restaurant is closed. We loved this place- the staff make it so special and really go out of their way to make your visit extra special. We will definitely be back- for longer next time."

The restaurant and pool area is so peaceful and wherever you go in the resort you can hear the sound of the waves on the beach. There are only 10 rooms at the resort so it is never busy. The staff are always cheerful, attentive and helpful and the hospitality was incredible. The bar tender mixed us bespoke cocktails when we asked and was very knowledgeable. The rooms are stunning, with balconies overlooking the ocean. The view from the bath and the bathroom in particular are beautiful, but the open air toilet takes some getting used to! The breakfast menu is varied and delicious - the best we have had in Bali! As the resort is new, there are a couple of teething problems -the restaurant ran out of many food options (almost all desserts) while we were there. With regards to the menu, we would have preferred more local cuisine options rather than a westernised menu - that being said, all the food was delicious! Finally, the location is far from the ports and tourist traps. This may be inconvenient if you wish to travel arond the island a lot (about an hours drive to the port), HOWEVER the location makes it incredible tranquil, secluded and private. We absolutely loved our stay at Semaya and will definitely return next time we are in Indonesia."

Just need to grab bike around and nearby restaurants are around 5 to 10 min ride away only. The villa was a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Bali. I grab bike to Seminyak during my stay and it was about 30 min away. I would highly recommend the Villa Dewi to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay in Bali.
