The bar is open late--not sure whether they have food. Most people at Wagner Festspiele eat at the opera. Breakfast is extremely good buffet, and convenient-- 07:00 to 11:00. Festspielhaus is 2.4 km (35min by foot) but we signed up for shuttle (free), leaves H4 15:00 arrives 15:10. Returns 20 min post performance. Very convenient. Most hotel guests are German but English is spoken by hotel personnel, who are very friendly and helpful. Ein ausgezeichneter Aufenthalt! Highly recommended if you are in Bayreuth. "
