I was fortunate to be there during a very low tourist season so we had easy access to all spa amenities at all times without a wait. Be careful about which Pupp property your room is in. The Riverside and Parkside facilities are all connected but the Quisisnana property is across a river. When we arrived we found out we were in Quisisnana and payed an extra 50 Euro a night to upgrade to riverside - well worth it as our frequent spa trips would have been much more difficult. I stayed in a single room, on a higher floor overlooking the promenade. The chandeliers, the high ceilings, the vintage furnishings... made me feel as though I was living in a different era. Bathroom was large and modern, water pressure good. And the towel warming rack worked! The included breakfast offered a decent variety of hot and cold, and the dining room was elegant. Staff were very accommodating and kind. Location was perfect. And only a 5-minute walk from where the bus #2 drops you. I stayed for 2 nights, and was provided with housekeeping service which was appreciated. The only downside was my mattress wasn't comfortable....almost like I was sleeping on an angle. But I was able to fall asleep. As well, the people above were rather noisy on night #1. Thank you for a memorable stay. TIP: restaurants will be cheaper in the northern part of town, near the bus stations. TIP: the tourist info centre is located in Spa 1. It was hard to find, as trucks and banners were blocking the 'i' (for information) sign. "

As well hand soap was missing and sink was not in good visual condition (visible quite large scratches). As well some shelves in the room haven't been cleaned for some time (visible dust). Bed was comfortable and room decoration quite interesting and make some kind of home atmosphere. Breakfast is good, just space in breakfast room is limited and sometimes you need to wait a bit to get a table. We have used SPA, but at the moment there are just 2 out of 4 saunas in operation. Average size pool is available. To sum-up, for this price we would expect better service and conditions. But probably this is because just because of the location..."
