The location of the house is in the second row, about 450 meters from the sea, and it is a quiet location, in the months of July and August, however, the evenings are longer. The house has a bedroom with single beds and a shared bathroom with bathtub. On the garden there is a barbecue. The part where you have lunch outdoors is large and covered. A perfect place to enjoy dishes prepared with all that Sicilian nature offers and also a perfect place to relax. Around the corner from the holiday home there is a small shop open all year round. In the immediate vicinity there are also 2 bars and 2 restaurants. The main beach of Mari is 450 meters away. During the high summer season a bus connects Bisceglie to Polignano a Mare. However, we recommend that you take a rental car.

After politely declining and contacting support who confirmed we were in the right, we received several rude messages from the host, even going as far as threatening to call the police and saying the price is already low and we should just pay it. After this unsuccessful attempt, we received another message (at 5AM) that urged us to vacate the premises before 10AM even though the checkout is specified at 11AM. We unhappily obliged to not anger the host even more, who seemed much more tame in person, than through messages."

- "We had such a lovely stay on the Bay in the houseboat complete with a private chef for delicious dinner one night and a tour of an olive oil press another day! Between that we enjoyed wandering around old town Bisceglie which is all around the Bay and sitting on the deck of the houseboat watching the boats go by. A couple things to note are that the kitchen is rather limited, so cooking for yourself might require a little creativity in terms of tools available and the WiFi is the public bay WiFi which we were never able to get a strong enough signal to use. There isn't a book of instructions, but we figured everything out with a few quickly answered messages to the hostess. All in all, a lovely and unique vacation experience!"

The property is located on the Adriatic coast to the north of Bari on the outskirts of the historic city of Bisceglie in southern Italy. The sea and the Ripalta Caves are an 8-minute walk from the house and the local beach (recently awarded a Blue Flag) is a picturesque 20-minute walk away. Bisceglie’s old town reflects its medieval and Renaissance heritage. Bisceglie’s Cathedral is a 30-minute walk/9-minute drive away and houses several important works of art and Torre Normanna (a 25-minute walk/8-minute drive) offers panoramic views across the town and the Adriatic Sea.

The surrounding area offers a diverse range of attractions for visitors to explore it is particularly known for its wine production and the landscape is dotted with olive groves and vineyards.

Bari is a 35-minute drive away and here visitors can enjoy the Swabian Castle, Old Town and the city\'s waterfront. The nearby town of Trani, is also worth a trip (an 18-minute drive) and is known for its beautiful cathedral by the sea, picturesque harbour and impressive castle.

Other popular attractions nearby include the UNESCO World Heritage site of Alberobello renowned for its Trulli (a one-hour 10-minute drive away) and Monopoli (a one-hour drive) where visitors can explore the old town with its whitewashed buildings and visit some of the prettiest beaches in the area.
