Note though that there is a club with live music at the rear of the hotel taht operated from mid Jul to early Sep but it finished promptly about midnight and was not unduly intrusive. The information on Hotel,com needs to be accurate to avoid disappointment and frustration. Further, the Hotel.com website showed that the rooms had safes. However, contrary to all hotels, you needed to pay an additional surcharge to have access to the safe. It should therefore be indicated on the website that there is such a surcharge. The same needs to apply to the Hot tub and sauna. It should state that there is a surcharge of €30 PP for a 2 Hrs max usage. People base themselves on the website to make decisions and choices. Let's make sure that the website is accurate. As for the hotel, normal rooms are very small with either a double bed or two single beds. Bathrooms are dated and my sink was clogged (before I checked-in). It was quite cold overnight and there was no heating. As for the staff, extremely friendly and nice. As for the breakfast, great selection and very tasty in a nice dining room with a fantastic service. I understood very quickly why this breakfast was so well attended. Great location. "

Wouldn't recommend when there's an event at Grote Markt because it's literally facing right that way so it can get very very loud. The bathroom had some signs of usage but nothing wild. Top-notch service from Dante and Luc at the front desk who provided great restaurant recs, key basic info ('how do I get a sunbed?') and levity in the face of the really disturbing (and rare) beach scuffle on August 8. My room was small (I was solo) but very graciously appointed with a nice coffeemaker and nice bed and shower. (Not much of a view, but that's what you get for booking the day-of.) Breakfast was worth it -- hearty German-style meats and cheeses, and a glass of Cava! I would totally stay here again. Excellent, personal service; like a family run hotel. Great stay -- thanks much.
