- "perfect place for small family.." - "Well having read previous comments we were a little dubious as to what we may find but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and quiet. There was a lot of sand in the appartement on arrival but a quick sweep through sorted that. Check in was easy. We did pay for the parking as the roads did appear busy but that was also easy and very reasonable. It isn't 5 star but we didn’t expect or pay for that. As a comparison it's a bit like butlins small but functional kitchenette, small beds and the bathroom was fine with bath and a good overhead shower . Local restaurants and beach all within a very short walk. We also walked 5 mins to a little carrefour supper Market for bread and essentials. We ate out so didn’t really use anything in the kitchen but looked like you'd have everything needed for 4. Would definitely stay again. Staff spoke good English, better than my french and check in was straight forward. Did expect us to clean before leaving when we had paid for a clean but doesn't take 5 mins to sweep and strip beds tbf"

Young kids would not mind. Teens and adults can't fit in there. Too narrow, too low, too small. So great place. Just don't expect room for 6 adults."

- "This was a fantastic last minute booking. The apartment was just under an hour drive from the Le Shuttle terminal, incredibly easy to find, check-in, we were able to park directly outside the front of the apartment, and the area has two Carrefour supermarkets nearby (one within walking distance, and the other just a few minutes drive away, which you pass on your way to the apartment). The apartment was immaculately clean, and smelt fresh as soon as we walked in. There were a few signs of wear and tear on some of the chairs, but this didn’t bother us, and there wasn’t an oven but a microwave, again we ate out so wasn’t a problem, however I think if you were planning on staying longer than one night it maybe a struggle if you were intending to cook your meals at the apartment. We had the ground floor apartment, so our view of the beach was obscured by the parked cars along the beach front, however having a physically disabled daughter it made accessibility so much easier as she was able to directly walk in and out of the apartment through the patio door after I had checked in using the front door. There is an elevator if staying above ground level. We felt very safe staying here, it was very peaceful and we enjoyed the most beautiful views.. was lucky enough to watch one of the most beautiful sunrises I have ever seen! I can’t comment on what it might be like to stay here during peak season as we visited at the end of January, but we would definitely come back here again! "

Upon discovering the oversite they said that they would credit our card. Haven't received this months statement so waiting to see. - "Great stay in a comfy appartment. Thanks!" - "A lovely apartment, very clean and tidy, with plenty of equipment that you will need. (You will need to take your own bed linen, loo roll, towels, bin liners etc but iron, hair dryer, kitchen equipment, board games are all there). Gaetane, the lady who does the handovers is extremely friendly and helpful. She spoke good English and gave us lots of information when we checked in. Later in the week when we needed some tickets printing she let us email them to her and she printed them and brought them over to us which was above and beyond the call of duty but very much appreciated. There are shutters / Black out blinds on the windows which were great for our daughter. The beach is about 1km away which is close enough to walk for adults but best to drive if you have kids (there is free parking at the beach). The sand dunes are beautiful. The beach itself stretches for a number of kilometres - you can see right along to the next village which is about 1km away and is on the same stretch of beach. The old German bunkers provide an interesting historic perspective to the area. Carrefour supermarket is a 2 minute drive away. Also a good base for trips over the border to Belgium. We went to Bruges (45minutes away) and Ypres (30minutes away). There is also a children’s theme park and water park just a 15 minute drive away (in Belgium). For Plopsaland we foundo that using the option to pay in Sterling was significantly cheaper than paying in Euros. The town instelf isn’t beautiful but it’s a nice area with plenty to do and the apartment is lovely."
