Elektrische fietsen zijn beschikbaar en die zijn een pluspunt om deze landelijke streek, met nogal wat hellinkjes, goed te kunnen verkennen. - "The apartment is in a perfect location, very close to Menin Gate and the town square. We were warmly greeted and found the studio to be very clean, well planned, and much thought has been given to the needs of short-stay travellers. It is exactly as pictured and described in the listing. Many restaurants nearby, as well as convenience stores and supermarkets within walking distance. Your vacation home is somewhat hidden on a wooded and enclosed property with wild flowers and a natural pond. From the living room and the terrace you have a beautiful view of the garden and the pond. The house has been lovingly restored by the owners and very tastefully furnished. In the living room there is a beautiful bed, which is decorative, but can also serve as an additional place to sleep. In the garden you can enjoy the peace and quiet until late and see the birds that like to drink at the pond. There are also two sheep running around that occasionally say hello.

If you can tear yourself away from this paradise, you can take nice bike rides or go for a walk in the Palingbeek Nature Park, 1 km away. Walk along ponds created by World War I craters, such as Caterpillar and Bluff. Take sporty bike rides on the famous Kemmelberg or the Rode and Zwarte Berg. In Westouter you can admire the landscape from a cable car. If you still have some time, we recommend you to visit the cities of Bruges and Lille (F). Bruges, because of the beautifully preserved medieval city and Lille, because of the beautiful half-timbered houses and impressive buildings in the old town. Next day, the smoke alarm went off that was an absolute horrendous experience , management company, telling us to switch it off in a basement that didn’t exist. Sending us pictures of another apartment. We had neighbours complaining it went on for two hours , kept getting cut off they didn’t ring you back you couldn’t hear them there were kids screaming in the background never again!. They do not know how to manage an apartment. The apartment itself was very nice a few teething problems that they need to sort out. There was a lovely decked to sit out so we went up with some nibbles and wine to find bags of rubbish and dog poo on it . The owner contacted us I e mailed him back and didn’t hear any more . Welcome to our fully renovated holiday home. Our house is ideal for family holidays, reunions, groups of friends, you name it. The holiday house is located in the historic centre of Ypres, a stone's throw from the station and the free city car park. All sights, shops and leisure facilities are easily accessible on foot. Passendale, the beautiful Heuvelland or the quiet border region are only 15 minutes away by car.

The holiday home is located in the centre of Ypres and is consequently a terraced house. Please keep noise to a minimum and respect the neighbours. We want our guests to have a nice holiday, but we ask that you keep this in mind between 10pm and 7am.

There is street parking available, but bear in mind that it is a ‘blue zone’ where you must put your parking disc (valid for 2h). A little further on, in the peripheral car park at the station, you can park your car for free and for long periods without a parking disc.

CHECK IN
Possible from 15h and is done via the key box next to the front door. The code is automatically displayed in the Airbnb app from 24h before check-in.

- On departure with the house to be vacated no later than 10am.
- Close all windows and extinguish all lights.
