(And there was an adult only pool in the roof if you had certain rooms - unfortunately our tweenagers didn’t quite fit into either camp) There were also activities and entertainments if you wanted to join in but it was subtle enough that they weren’t in your face. We’d definitely go back and stay there. It was a lovely town with a good atmosphere. Very few English families and you should make a little effort to speak Catalan or Spanish. The beach is beautiful, sandy and clean. The sea is warm but very wavy when we were there, my boys loved it! At the other end of the beach here’s a Roman villa that is open to look around and has lots of information. Up the hill is the ‘old town’ that is definitly worth an explore as well - if the heat allows! It was also really easy to get the train there from Barcelona airport. (Change at Barcelona-Sants then it’s just over an hour) and it was less than a 5 min walk to the station so we were able to discover lots of the local area. Tarragona is fantastic for Roman ruins! We clearly enjoyed it! "

- "This was a lovely experience, if you like hotel chains do not go here, but if you want something that is what i believe to be a traditional family run spanish hotel, it is very quaint. The owners only speak spanish but with google translate they were very helpful. I think the description on the hotels.com website is a bit inaccurate, as there is a communal pool in the village but not at the hotel, and no hot tub as far as i know. But that is not why we visited. The small village was beautiful, and very well kept. There is no parking at the hotel but there was plently of lit parking a few metres from the hotel. Breakfast was traditional continental, fresh and tasty. (Ham cheese pastries, toast, jams, orange juice and importantly good coffee). Also not far from the main ap7 autoroute. Thank you for your hospitality, i would recommend this small hotel for an overnight stay."
