We’d definitely go back and stay there. It was a lovely town with a good atmosphere. Very few English families and you should make a little effort to speak Catalan or Spanish. The beach is beautiful, sandy and clean. The sea is warm but very wavy when we were there, my boys loved it! At the other end of the beach here’s a Roman villa that is open to look around and has lots of information. Up the hill is the ‘old town’ that is definitly worth an explore as well - if the heat allows! It was also really easy to get the train there from Barcelona airport. (Change at Barcelona-Sants then it’s just over an hour) and it was less than a 5 min walk to the station so we were able to discover lots of the local area. Tarragona is fantastic for Roman ruins! We clearly enjoyed it! "
