The cabin can accommodate up to eight people. There is ample parking in the circular front driveway for four or more cars as well as room for a boat on a trailer.

The cabin is a five-minute walk out the front door to the beach and sits on a large lot with plenty of room in the fully fenced and dog friendly backyard. The back yard has a wooden deck with a umbrella over the patio table that is ideal for summer barbeques and sitting by the propane bowl. There is a wood burning firepit available for use during the spring and fall when there is normally not a fire ban in place. Also, in the back yard there is a second covered patio area with a table that can seat eight that provides a great place to be during those occasional rainy but warm summer days. The yard has several large trees that provide plenty of shade. Each bedroom has a window air conditioner installed in the summer.

The cabin has two bedrooms and a TV room on the main floor, one with a queen bed and one with a double bed. In addition, there are bunk beds in one of the bedrooms and a queen size sofa bed in the front room. The front room has a natural gas fireplace. In the summer window air conditioners are installed in the bedrooms. The TV room has a smart TV with HDMI connections as well as a DVD player. High speed Wi-Fi is included in the rate. There is a basement which is set up as a recreation room with a second large screen smart TV with an IKEA bed that can expand from a single to a queen size bed.

In the summer there is outdoor propane shower on the back deck available for a quick cool down on hot days or for a rinse off after a day at the lake.

The kitchen includes an electric stove, large fridge, microwave and a Bosch dishwasher. Plenty of plates, bowls, glasses, and utensils are supplied. The laundry room has a full-size stacking washer and dryer. The dining room can seat eight. There is one three-piece bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The cabin has a natural gas furnace.

In the summer there are water slides, boat rentals, a kid's adventure park including a miniature golf course all within walking distance.

Close by are hiking trails, bike trails and an executive golf course this is open all year.

The nearby Chilliwack River offers year-round fishing (with permit) as well as white water rafting for the more adventurous. In nearby Yarrow, Sardis, Vedder, and Chilliwack there are several Craft Breweries, Farmers' Markets, and Fairs that occur throughout the spring, summer, and fall. The Trans Canada trail is just outside the front door.

Smoking is allowed outside only in the yard, please not inside the cabin. Cultus Lake is a smoke free community with smoking not allowed on the beach, trails, roads and public areas.

Our cozy cottage situated in the Cottages at Cultus Lake, familiar to many for its beautiful scenery, amazing amenities building and close proximity to amusements, hiking trails and beaches. Whether you want to relax with a good book, sit be the seasonal pool, go for a swim in the lake or race down the waterslides, there certainly is something for everyone. The Cottages are approximately a 90 minute drive from Vancouver, on the Lindell Beach side of the Lake. The closest beach is a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk at Maple Bay, the perfect spot for a picnic, swim, kayak or Paddle Board. The Cottages are enjoyable year round where you can cozy up with a puzzle or games in front of the gas fireplace or roast marshmallows in the outdoor fire (pending provincial fire bans). If you want a quiet getaway our Cottage is definitely the place to come.
The Treehouse (club house, gym and children's playroom) is open year round equipped with a pool table, foos ball table etc. Our pools and hot tubs are open from May long weekend to October, closing Thanksgiving weekend. They are also open during additional school breaks and long weekends.
Also note: that the current Short-term legislation does not apply to us, we are considered an Electoral Regional District and exempt from the restrictions. Due to some strata restrictions, we have a 5 night minimum with no limited length of stay after that. Please message me if you would like a shorter stay as during shoulder season this can sometimes be accommodated but will be evaluated case by case depending on existing bookings.

The space
Our 1950's cabin has been fully renovated and is best suited for one family or small group. It features central air conditioning , gas fire place, and large kitchen with gas range stove. One bedroom with a king bed, a second bedroom with a queen bed, and a third bedroom with bunkbeds (best suited for children; 31x73 mattresses). You'll find a twin sofa bed in the living room an d an air mattress can be provided upon request at time of booking.

Outside you will find two spacious decks to enjoy both shade and full sun, a playhouse for the kids, fenced back yard and parking for 2 vehicles.

One small crate trained dog allowed, with prior notice and $50 additional cleaning fee.

The “Cottages” is a charming, 60-acre gated community at the south end of Cultus Lake. They also supplies cutlery, hand soap. Shampoo, tissue paper, toilet papers and hand towels, all basic necessities. Warm water for those nice refreshing baths. Cons: My only con was that the bathroom was not attached to the cabin and I would have to exit the cabin and go to the back. Not really a big issue, but I had to keep putting on my boots to walk to the back especially when I needed to make my late night bathroom trips also it was really blades and the outdoor lights delayed in automatically turning on. The owners were also very clear and helpful through texts and everything went smoothly. Some others may find the lack of a stove for cooking limiting if you wanted to cook food, but not for me as I mostly ate outside in the restaurants around the area. My final verdict is that I would recommend this place 10/10 as a solo traveller. Definitely coming back. :) "

Guest Access:
Guests have full access to the entire home and outdoor patio area. Parking for two vehicles maximum is allocated in front of the home on the gravel between the white paint markings on the ground. Parking is parallel to the house. Parking is strictly enforced by Cultus Lake and vehicles not parked as per instructions are subject to a fine or may be towed.

Our neighborhood is located at the Main Beach area of Cultus Lake Park. It is a quiet, residential neighborhood featuring public lake access within steps of the property. You will find the neighborhood peaceful, walkable, safe and secure, with friendly neighbors who care deeply for their property and community.

Other things to note:
We want to assure you that we are putting extra care and attention into our cleaning routines, making our home the safest for your stay. We have always maintained a high level of cleanliness, giving extra attention to disinfecting all touch points throughout the house.

Additionally, all linens, including throw blankets, decorative pillow covers and bath mats, are washed in hot water. Due to increased precautions and cleaning protocols, check out is 10am to allow for extra cleaning time.

Please be aware that our policies require guests to be at least 30 years old to make a reservation.

As per Cultus Lake bylaws, no hanging of towels, clothes or anything else on the fence around the property.

Recycling - all returnable beverage containers (wine bottles, cans, drink boxes, glass bottles, etc.) must be kept out of the main recycling bins. A marked blue recycling bin is on the patio for these items only.

The main guest booking the reservation is responsible for keeping the house respectfully tidy while taking care of the furniture & belongings inside. It is also their responsibility to ensure all guests are familiar with the house rules found in the House Manual onsite.

During this time we are not allowing any additional visitors to the house other than those staying overnight. Exceptions may be considered upon request.

The house is located in a residential neighborhood, please be mindful of our neighbors during your stay. Our property's quiet hours (10pm - 8am) are in place to ensure that everyone can enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. We care deeply about maintaining good relationships with our community, so we appreciate you following our 'house rules' during your stay.

We host families, couples and visitors from around the world. We are a STRICT non-party property! We do not cater to any party groups whatsoever. This is a tranquil and quiet area and we wish to host guests who are low-key and respectful of our home and neighbors. If you are looking to party, then sadly, we are not the right fit. Any inclination of party like activity will reserve us the right to immediately terminate your stay.

- "The unit is located in a quiet spot right along the forest and was very serene. Alesh was responsive to any questions we had and you can tell a great amount of thought and effort went into the amenities provided. The deck box is full of sports equipment - basketball, tennis rackets & balls, kick boards, frisbees, badminton set, etc. and the patio furniture and BBQ seem brand new. The pool is incredible and our kids had a blast at the playground, in the games room and riding their bikes around the property. It’s a small thing but arriving to ice and chilled mugs in the freezer and chilled water in the fridge was a great treat on a hot day. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and our kids haven’t stopped talking about the trip. "

Welcome to our sanctuary of peace and relaxation. Whether you are escaping from the hustle and bustle of the city or looking for a quick getaway, our door is open! The Cottages at Cultus Lake have so much to offer. Our cozy and spotless cottage is the perfect family spot to unwind and create new family memories. The cottage offers a warm and welcoming environment with reclaimed wooden floors, lofted ceilings, and a beautiful stone fireplace. You can jump into one of the 2 pools at the Treehouse or enjoy the hot tubs after a day of outside activities. During the cooler times why not enjoy the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate and book.

The large and comfortable primary bedroom provides privacy and luxurious comfort on the main floor with a full washroom.

The 65-acre recreational oasis is a short 90 minute drive from Vancouver or 45 minute drive from Abbotsford Airport. The picturesque location is surrounded by beautiful pine and cedar trees, allowing you and your family to soak in nature and breathe clean crisp air.

The Cottage
We can accommodate up to 7 guests in the 3 bedroom and 2 full bath home. The Cottage is a roomy 1,445 sq. ft to allow your family to spread out. We include coffee, tea, sugar and coffee maker for our guests. The kitchen has a dishwasher, table setting for 8, pot, pans, a bbq with propane.

We provide bath towels, face cloths and kitchen linens. Please bring your beach or pool towels as we request our linens do not leave the cottage. No pets.

The Lake and surrounding areas
We are a quick 1.5 minute drive to Maple Bay Beach area or a short 8 minute drive to the main area of the lake and famous Cultus Lake Waterslides and Adventure Park. The Teapot Hill Trail is a short drive from our cottage, the 4.8km out and back hike offers views of the lake and many teapots and cups placed along the way, be sure to bring a old tea pot to place along the trail. The Cultus Lake Golf course is a stunning 4000-yard, 18 hole executive coarse featuring fairways bordered with giant fir and cedar trees.

This community truly offers a refreshing vacation experience, with endless amenities within the community (pickleball & basketball courts, 2 children's play parks) and is a quick 11 minute drive to the popular Cultus Lake Water Park and Cultus Lake Adventure Park.
This cottage is a short walk to the lake and offers endless hours of casual outdoor entertainment, ideal for your group or family!
During your stay you’ll have access to a fantastic "treehouse" with 2 seasonal outdoor pools (including a kids splash pool), 2 hot tubs, fitness facility, library, children's play room & large games room (foosball, shuffleboard, ping pong & pool tables)

Sleeps 6 (2 - queen beds and a pull out sofa).

This cottage is our family's happy place. It has 3 levels. The main floor has a great open floor plan. The upstairs has a loft and bedroom. The basement has a living room, bedroom and recreation room.

- "This is a newish house in a very quiet resort development with all the amenities. The house has everything you need to keep multiple generations of family members busy. And then there is the Treehouse, a common area clubhouse which has two pools, a hot tub, a pool table, football, poker tables and other common areas. The house is at the south end of the lake, about ten min drive from the water slides and adventure park. Samson was a great host and was responsive throughout."
