However, we asked for additional blankets and pillows and it took 2 days and they only delvered 1 additional pillow and two blankets, when we had asked for 4 of each. We ended up buying 2 pillows. Apartment did not have toilet paper at our arrival. No air conditioning, which would have been OK if the windows had screens and kept out mosquitoes, which are surprisingly abundant at 2500 meters of altitude. Property was accross a gas station which is used by local motorcyclists as a hangout and a staring point for darg racing. Noice was unbearable on the weekend, as the noice went on until past 2 am. Noce in the corrdors can be heard in the apartment, as well as music and conversations in apartments next to and below. The apartments have quite the problem with noise, as it is not blocked out at all. It is very surprising to me to not have read any of this in the reviews before booking. I would not rent out apartments that face the highway. It's just not a good business practice."

- "Amazing place. Access to everything and polite neighbors " - "The building is very beautiful, comfortable and affordable. I have no complaints about it. The owner was very gracious, except we had one problem during the day. We played the music too loud. My brother-in-law came over and he’s from an area where you’re allowed to play loud music. Apparently the neighbors were complaining to the owner. He never told me so they called the police. The police told me if they hear loud music again because I’m a foreigner they’re going to arrest me they check the identification of my wife and my brother-in-law. It had something to do with me being an older white man and my wife, being a young Costeña I would imagine they did not like us. I always feel level of racism because of all the sex tourism the people before me I’ve given my skin color a bad name now I know what it’s like to be a black man in America. I had no choice, but to vacate the apartment because it’s their word against mine. All they have to do is call and say my cell phone rang too much, and I would be handcuffed and put in jail, and I would not be able to leave the country until my court case so I left the apartment empty and I paid for another one, so I will just warn you if you’re going there and you’re gonna play music loud or make your presence known to the locals. It’s a bad idea find a different place to stay. It’s good for a quiet couple and nothing else like I said if I got a warning, I would’ve shut the music off but the owner never told me ."

- "Just an amazing place so close to Medellin. A secluded gem in the hills of Envigado. The cabin is beautiful, with all the necessary amenities you would need. Nature is full display.. we had all types of exotic birds come up right to the balcony. The room has a wonderful (hot) jacuzzi that easily fits 2 people. The wet sauna does not work and the jacuzzi is not operable. The garden is one of the best features, it felt like paradise. It is a great place for a quiet family stay. Housy Host's best asset is Wilson, the person that takes care of the space while you are there. He is very attentive, while giving you all the privacy you need. - "It’s a beautiful property, lots of agriculture & a large statue of Christ is on it as well. The biggest issue I had was the no hot water & the shower not draining while water pooled outside the shower behind my toilet as well. I really wanted it to be a great stay, but the WiFi didn’t reach my room, it’s only available by the main building or in the dining & game area. I was asked what I wanted for dinner & was never given a menu, I asked what was available & was given 3 prices which is a strange way to offer someone dinner. I enjoyed the fire pit with some travelers, I really enjoyed their company & conversation. It was during a fiesta that I was there, so music was a bit loud from the party area on Friday & Saturday evening. The walls are so thin I could hear everything my neighbors were saying & doing. It’s a gorgeous location, but I doubt l will go back. Just so many frustrations with communication, food, WiFi, no hot water, etc."
