Our Beach Bungalow (House) is very comfortable with lots of character and space. Cozy in winter, sunny in summer and perfectly situated near the border of De Kelders and Perlemoen Baai. It is place where you can put your feet up after a hard day at the beach and just take it easy. Breath-taking ocean views from both the lower pool deck and the upper deck, uncapped WiFi. (upstairs), Netflix and much much more. From the Trinidadian inspired Blue Door out front to the comfortable yellow Adirondack chairs on the upper deck where we like to enjoy our morning coffees or late day sundowners, the house is yours to enjoy. On the main floor you'll find an inside braai/bbq area which doesn't receive a good wifi or mobile signal, by design, where you can sit with family and friends and gaze into the fire while you chat about the days events, or not. The splash pool has a wooden deck from where the ocean view and sun can be enjoyed. On the upper deck are the two yellow Adirondack chairs as well as a very comfortable and large blue and white cushion for laying out and taking the sun. The house has a fully equipped compact kitchen with microwave, stove, oven, refrigerator and fridge. In the scullery next to the kitchen there is a washing-machine, and dishwasher. The kitchen door leads to outside patio. In this area there is a washing line. The three bedrooms(2 x bedrooms with queen bed, 1x bedroom with 2 single beds ) each has its own en-suite bathroom. The main bedroom with a queen bed looks out over the splash pool. In the lounge there is a bookcase with enough books for those who want to read and relax.
The wood underneath the fire place in the braai/bbq room is for you to use and enjoy. Feel free to use the coffee, tea, spices, etc. in the food cupboard in the kitchen and make yourself at home.

Facilities and distances: shop 1.5 km, grocers 1.5 km, supermarket 1.5 km, restaurant 2 km, rocky beach 1 km, golf course 4.5 km. Please note, nearby is an ein airport/airfield in 92 km. The owner build the house in 2005. They never fail to appreciate the beauty of the view and the tranquillity of the area each time we are there. Between June and November each year the Southern Right whales come to the bay to mate and get their babies. This is just such a privilege to admire this spectacle. Then there are the regular sighting, of mostly large schools, of dolphins. You can see the big Gansbaai fishing's boats go out in season to catch anchovies and sardines for the local fish factory who produces the Lucky Star tinned fish, to name but one. Walking distance from our house is a big tidal pool and also the Stanford cove which is ideal for small children to swim, play on the grass banks and catch small fish in the water pools. The sleepy fishing town of Gansbaai has some very fine restaurants and well known grocery stores, staying open long hours to accommodate the many guests and local guest houses .Gansbaai is internationally famous for its shark cage diving industry. This is one of the main attractions of the town. There are many winelands and wine tasting opportunities around the area. The area is ideal for hiking and cycling. There are even a gym for those who prefer that, The Gansbaai and Kleinbaai harbours are amongst some of the spots to visit. 8 km from our house is the Uilenskraalmond beach and lagoon. 40 km from us a blue flag beach in Voelklip, Hermanus. The light house at Danger point is also worth a visit. And many more attractions to explore.
