Only downside is the very steep hill between hotel and the port area. Staff very pleasant and unobtrusively attentive. Food good but menu would be monotonous at a long stay. Crab sandwiches at lunch are fantastic. Charming lounges on lower floor are underused and are next to nice private cinema. Location is great - at the end of a long sandy bay and a jetty with views of the harbour. Small island. Possible to walk most of it in a couple of days. Lots of WWII memerobelia and forts. Picuresque town is 1/2 mile up a steep hill but there is a bus in August. On some days there is a train to top of island. Shop with basics nearby."

Beds comfy, room overlooking front of property and a bit noisy..would definitely stay again and request room overlooking garden." - "Although the hotel was out of the centre of St Peter Port it is well worth the short bus trip rather than walking. Use a Puffin pass on the bus and each trip is £0.75 a real bargain and the bus stop is just outside the hotel. The food at the hotel was amazingly superb, staff really friendly and helpful."

- "All" - "The hotel setting was very good as we could get from the airport and into St Peters port and also all over the island from the bus stop just across the road. The hotel itself has a very good health centre, the bedroom we had was quite roomy and clean and best of all the breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal we had in the Sahara restaurant. Staff were welcoming and hard working. Overall a very good hotel in a good position."
