Hawks Barn is a newly refurbished, self contained, two bedroom getaway located a stones throw from Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey). Surrounded by stunning views and walks, the barn is just 10 minutes from Newbury station with quick links to London.
Opposite the main house, with ample parking the barn has a king bedroom, as well as a twin bedroom. Downstairs is a modern sitting room, large smart TV, fully fitted kitchen, dining and work space

The space
Fully refurbished barn, done to a very high standard this colourful, modern barn provides a home away from home, surrounded by stunning gardens. Downstairs there is a fully fitted kitchen with hob and oven as well as a fridge. A dining table doubles as a home office space, whilst in the living space the L shaped sofa and 65" TV allow for relaxing in front of Prime Video and Netflix, Disney.
Designed with guest comfort top of mind there are 'Emma' mattresses, Egyptian cotton bed linen and fluffy towels. Our duvets allow for different tog sizes to suit your comfort throughout the year and our duck feather filled pillows are medium / firm as well as medium / soft for each guest. Hypo allergenic micro foam pillows are also available, please ask.
The bathroom has just enough space for a leisurely bath or rain style shower.
Outside your own back door there is a table and chairs for al fresco dining, a fire pit and use of bbq by arrangement. Croquet and Boules also provided in the Summer.
