- "We stayed here in 2020 when it was Swissotel. After the renovation, it is one of the best and most comfortable hotels we stayed in Kolkata. Mostly, staff was incredible. Leaving a personal note (trying very hard) and flowers in the room was something not used to staying at any hotels I stayed. - "I stayed here for a week in one of the 2 bedroom suites. The property is amazing, the restaurants are great and the service is unbelievable. I have 2 complaints though - (1) it took 3 days for the room to reach 22 C from starting 19 C. As a result it was quite cold during the start of my stay and 19-20 C is pretty uncomfortable. Also, on one evening there was a wedding party going and they started beating the drums at 2 am. I have nothing against wedding parties or the need to play music. However, the hotel should not allow these things to happen at 2 am. It ended about 4 am and my poor wife could not sleep that night. All in all, a great experience though and i would definitely stay at the ITC royal bengal on future trips. "
