Leaving a personal note (trying very hard) and flowers in the room was something not used to staying at any hotels I stayed. - "I stayed here for a week in one of the 2 bedroom suites. The property is amazing, the restaurants are great and the service is unbelievable. I have 2 complaints though - (1) it took 3 days for the room to reach 22 C from starting 19 C. As a result it was quite cold during the start of my stay and 19-20 C is pretty uncomfortable. Also, on one evening there was a wedding party going and they started beating the drums at 2 am. I have nothing against wedding parties or the need to play music. However, the hotel should not allow these things to happen at 2 am. It ended about 4 am and my poor wife could not sleep that night. All in all, a great experience though and i would definitely stay at the ITC royal bengal on future trips. "

Lastly, the check-in experience was slow and painful. People were jumping the line like in Indian railway stations. It was crowded and there was no one to take our luggage into the room (apparently the only guy was on lunch break). The luggage showed up about 30 mins later after we called the reception multiple times. Would be good to have a better check-in process specially when the reception is crowded during peak hours."
