Come make your own family memories at our family lake house! This 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house is located on Lake Hartwell. Enjoy our Large Dock with boat slip, Kayaks, Canoe, Paddle boat & Hot tub. You will have some of the best views on the lake. Come watch the sunset over the lake on Sunset lane! We are within walking distance to JARRET BOAT RAMP which has parking area. Our driveway is large enough for vehicles and your boat trailers as well.

This house features 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master bedroom has queen bed with private bathroom with shower. The middle bedroom has queen bed. The bunk room has 2 sets of 2 bunk beds (sleeps 4). Bathroom with tub/shower combo is between the bedrooms. The den has a comfy leather couch & love seat with 2 recliners each. The kitchen table seats 6 and there are 4 bar stools at the bar. There is a table with 6 chairs on the screened porch plus a small table with 4 chairs.

There is a flat screen TV in each bedroom and the den. WE HAVE STREAMING & HIGH SPEED INTERNET, we do not have cable TV. We subscribe to ROKU channel. You can sign in to your own apps to watch on the TVs. At Roku Home Screen choose 'Live TV' for local news channels.

The Reed Creek General Store is not far from the house and is equipped with all of your lake needs such as bait, fishing equipment, and tackle as well as delicious homemade ice cream, breakfast biscuits, lunch items, and fresh produce. Dock Depot is your stop for lake gear including tubes and lake floats.

Located in the area is the popular Hartwell Wildlife Safari which opened in 2021 and Paynes Creek Campground which features a 9-mile hiking/mountain bike trail, playgrounds, beaches, etc.

Historic downtown Hartwell is about 15 minutes away and a gem with good restaurants and boutique shopping. Cateechee Golf Club, one of the premier golf courses in Northeast Georgia about 20 minutes away.

The Mary Ann Branch boat ramp and the Crawfords Ferry boat ramp are both less than 5 minutes by water. Boat rentals are available at Harbor Light Marina and at Hartwell Marina. We have parking for boats and trailers.

Our cabin is located on beautiful Lake Hartwell, on almost 60 acres. We are a rescue farm of about 50 animals ranging from horses, calves, sheep, emu, giant tortoise, lots of dogs and chickens and two mini-donkeys. We welcome traveling horses and we also have a dock for you to bring your boat. We have long trails for walking or horseback riding, seclusion for those who want to get away from it all and plenty to do for families. We host lots of weddings and, in addition to this cabin, have a three bedroom house with two kings, one queen and one full-sized bed, our popular “Don” restored 50’s camper (super nice) and our loft, which we rent privately. We love dogs on a leash and have visiting dogs most weeks, but dogs left alone in the cabin must be in a crate. 😀

To make perfectly clear, as in our sleeping description, two adults only. Two small children, SMALL children, under 5, can fit on the futon. This is not the cabin for a family with teens. We would love to have bigger families in our cottage!
This cabin locks from the inside but has never had a door key. It’s never been a problem, but please be aware. We were recently asked for the key, after 6 years, and were flummoxed. We had never thought of it or been asked. Safety isn’t much of an issue on the farm in Hartwell. However, please be aware not to leave valuables when leaving the cabin now that we have.

This newly renovated and newly decorated house has 3 bedrooms that have their own bathrooms and patio overlooking the water. Everyone has a mini-suite of their own! The kitchen is supplied with all the basic essentials and includes a brand new electric convection oven and refrigerator. Beach towels, bathrooms towels, and bedding is provided. Relax on the screened-in porch and enjoy views of the lake with a cup of coffee (or other preferred beverage). The table on the screened-in porch is perfect for conversation among family and friends, dining, and board/card games. The downstairs patio also has a table with seating for 4 and a swing bench - perfect for relaxing and taking in the scenery or engrossing yourself in a book.

The main level at the house has 2 bedrooms (1 king and 1 queen) with blackout curtains and the downstairs has 1 bedroom (2 bunk beds - full on bottom and twin on top). The basement living room also has a daybed with a trundle bed which can sleep 2 more. The basement living room has a full size table that seats 6, a 48" flat screen tv with an XBOX ONE, and a dartboard (great for rainy days). The property has high speed internet (50MB download and 5MB upload), a Weber gas grill, and a fire pit with seating. No cable subscription is available, but feel free to bring your wifi-enabled devices to watch content via the wi-fi or also on the XBOX ONE. The XBOX ONE has many apps to watch your favorite network cable shows as well as Netflix and many other streaming services. All NFL games are available on the XBOX ONE during football season through the NFL, FOX Sports, CBS, NBC, or ESPN apps. The property also has board games, playing cards, and poker chips as additional entertainment options.

Enjoy the fantastic sunrise and sunset from the upper level of the dock! 180 degree views of the lake from the dock. Water depth at the dock is 30+ feet deep - great for swimming and floating! Excellent fishing without leaving the property. Our boat is in the dock slip (not available for use), but feel free to bring any vessels of your own as the dock is set up for additional boats to be tied up to.

Historic downtown Hartwell is less than 20 minutes away. Several restaurants and marinas are available within 20 minutes by water or car. The Mary Ann Branch public boat ramp is less than 10 minutes away. Clemson is 45 minutes away by water or car.

There is a 'no pet' policy for this property. The washer/dryer units in the storage room are available for use.

This custom craftsman style home is in one of the nicest settings of Lake Hartwell. It is located in the Enclave on Barefoot Bay Road. This lake home is very tastefully decorated and located in a gated community in the desirable area of Reeds Creek.

The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, larrge walk- in pantry and a gorgeous view from the breakfast room.

The main floor consists of large family room with vaulted ceiling, dining room that seats eight,
king size master bedroom that overlooks beautiful Lake Hartwell. The master has full bath with shower stall and soaking tub. Also, there is a 1/2 bath on the main floor along with mud room that has a 2nd refrigerator.

Above the garage is a 5th bedroom ( bonus room) that has 2 full size beds, two twins and tv with game system to keep the younger group occupied with video games, etc,..

The porches overlooking the lake are awesome and great for morning coffee and watching the sun rise or gathering at night listening to music. All of the bedrooms were large with comfortable beds and bedding. I recommend adding the pontoon boat to your rental. We took the boat out 2 of the days we were there and had a great time tubing and finding a quiet cove to swim in. The floats and wake boards are also fun around the boat dock. The landscaping around the house is also well maintained and beautiful. We also spent many hours in the large family room downstairs playing pool, ping pong and foosball. My family and friends look forward to returning to 78 Barefoot Bay in the future and would highly recommend this house for you next escape."

Beautiful 60 acre horse farm on Lake Hartwell. A gorgeous destination for weddings and events, we have two homes available for rent, along with stall and pasture availability for those traveling with horses. One cottage is a three bedroom with two king-sized beds, one queen-sized bed and one full-sized. We also have a one bedroom cabin that sleeps four, with a full-sized bed plus a two person futon. To access the smaller cabin, please look at our other listing, Spotted Fawn Farm/Cabin, The Don, or Lake House.
Our farm is located on the boarder of Georgia and South Carolina, about 10 minutes off I-85. We have four cottages that are professionally decorated, are pet friendly to WELL BEHAVED LEASHED DOGS, and are also accessible by boat. (Please note that dogs left alone in the house must be in a crate!) Our places are spread out over the farm and are all very different, just like our guests. There is a lower driveway that makes taking coolers and kayaks to the dock easier.
Our farm has long winding trails, babbling creeks, sunny pastures with exotic animals and loads of horses. There is a shared boat dock for sunning or docking and cocktail hour always starts at 4:00! We frequently host weddings and events and special packages can be arranged. We love families and it is the perfect place to get away from technology and enjoy nature. (Although we have added WiFi for work getaways.)

Lastly, there is no kitchen table. The kitchen is spacious and there is an outdoor table for dining and another large table at our outdoor kitchen but our cottage kitchen does not have one for large indoor meals. While the bedrooms are nice and comfortable, the living area of this cottage is small. The cottage is great for a couple with kids, two or even three adult couples, days spent outdoors, but I always want to caution that 8 adults in the cottage will find it cramped if staying indoors. We are truly a farm best enjoyed outdoors and the cottage isn’t a place for parties or indoor stays.

This Jerry Turner built home has views of the lake and quality finishes throughout. The great room with fireplace is open to the dining area and kitchen with granite counters and a large island. The main level also includes a master suite and half bath. The lower level great room opens onto a lower deck just a stone's throw from the lake. The finished terrace level has a large rec room, two more bedrooms, and another full bath. You have an open view of the lake from both levels of the home. There is a concrete drive with plenty of parking and a location for boat trailer parking. The lower level deck offers additional space for outdoor entertaining and grilling. From the deck there is a short-improved walkway to the covered slip dock. The home comfortably sleeps 10-12 people (8 adults maximum) and is fitting for guests of all ages. Welcome to our 1951 vintage Richardson, “The Don Draper”. The Don is the perfect romantic getaway!

We are a 60 acre farm on Lake Hartwell with four rentals, The Cottage, The Cabin, The Loft and The Don Draper at Spotted Fawn Farm.

Each of our houses are unique and private, with access to the dock, riding trails, use of our outdoor kitchen area and each has it’s own firepit and outdoor area.

“The Don” sits nestled in shady pines but overlooks our big pasture. It’s an easy walk to the lake or woods trails. Guests are welcome to wander anywhere on the farm (except entering pastures containing animals) and visit with our wild assortment of rescue animals. Visitors are welcome to bring their horses or boats, but please give us a heads up so we know we have space during your stay. Everyone is encouraged to bring leftovers to feed the animals.

Pets are welcome but must be on a leash at all times. Chickens are EVERYWHERE and seem to dogs to be fluffy moving squeaky toys! Dogs left alone in the houses must be crated while you are gone.

Very nice house, fully equipped for anything you could want, easy walk to the dock, use of 2 kayaks. Great neighborhood too. It rained most days and many things to do were a 30 minute drive, but between that and all the games provided we had a great time together and that’s what it’s about. Owner even called from Colorado to see if my son in law’s kayak got loose when neighbors saw one floating in the rain."

There is also a beautiful outdoor dining table on the screened in porch to enjoy eating outdoors. We have also included a high chair for your little one, available UPON REQUEST.

SLEEP:
Primary bedroom has queen bed. Secondary bedroom has a full size bed along with twin size bunk bed. Both bedrooms share a full hallway bathroom with combo tub/shower. Additionally, we have provided a pack n play with sheets, available UPON REQUEST.

PLAY:
Lots to do inside and out!
Inside we have a variety of board games and cards. There is also corn hole, as well as YouTube TV/Smart tv (featuring all streaming apps) for watching movies on rainy days. Looking for something more relaxing? Curl up with a blanket and enjoy reading one of our provided books.

DOCK:
Enjoy a beautiful sunrise from the dock with a cup of coffee. Head out onto the lake with one of our two single person kayaks. Feel free to store your boat in our slip or rent one from the local marina and keep it here! We have large swim steps to make getting in and out of the water easier for people of all ages. Crawford Ferry Boat Ramp is located 1.5 miles from the house.

Covered carport parking and boat trailer parking is easily available.

A starter pack of toiletries (paper towels, toilet paper, dish pods, garbage bags, hand soap) is provided. For longer stays (more than a couple of days) please anticipate bringing your own. We also have coffee/tea but you will need your own cream/sugar.

This is a unique A-Frame Wood Cabin covered in a tree canopy and overlooking a peaceful cove in the Reed Creek area of Lake Hartwell. As for getting on the water, this cove is one of the best. It is quiet and always full and makes a large recreation area for guests that has been best described as a large personal swimming pool. The cabin comes with lots of lake toys such as kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and a 4 person paddle boat. It is a great dock to fish from as well. The dock has a sun deck to enjoy the day on a covered boat slip should you bring or rent a boat. The boat ramp is a mile from the house.

- "Cozy & perfect spot on the lake!" - "Interior was clean, amenities were adequate. Had to get use to multiple levels.Exterior grounds had high grass and vines that needed weed eating especially on the path down to the dock. The gas grill was too dirty to use. Nice views from the dock but limited lake views from the deck Family room TV had limited popular channels. The host was accommodating to allow our party to check in early. Communication before arrival was good.The house could have used an information book about the area, its sites especially for individuals like us who were making their first trip to the area."

- "The garage that you parked in front of was a less than desirable first site. The inside of the house was beautiful. The bathrooms need a little handyman work.The view of the lake from the house and porch were wonderful. The climb down to the lake and back was quite a challenge. But it was very quiet and beautiful most of the on the lake during our stay. "
