- "Rained hard a couple days, most of the time great weather. Food was excellent (breakfast and dinner included in room cost). They were very willing to cater to your food preferences. The pool area was beautiful and relaxing and was the perfect place to lounge and read a book or watch the sun set over the ocean. We enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling right from the hotel (gear available to use for free). The staff were all friendly and helpful. Very attentive to your needs, especially at meals. However, they don't often approach you by the poolside to offer snacks or beverages, so if you want something you just need to walk up to the bar. Their English was "okay", although some language barriers. The manager speaks English pretty well. She was friendly. The room was comfortable, although the power went out a couple times each night requiring us to wake up and turn the air conditioner back on. Also, the bed was surrounded by a wooden ledge about a foot wide, which was not the most comfortable for getting in and out of bed (although it makes the bed look kind of attractive and artistic). Hotels.com stated that there is free bottled water in the room, however this was not the case. The mini-bar in the room has only a few options-water and a few sodas. They picked us up from the town where our boat ride dropped us off and also gave us an early-morning ride back to the port town when we left, free of charge."
